Chapter 2844: If I Learn It, Won’t My Incarnations Learn It Too?

Jorren Jaramillo praised endlessly, Carson Flores responded with a smile.

"Senior, is this business negotiable?"

Jorren chuckled, "Of course it’s negotiable. Tell me, what do you want me to do?"

Carson stretched out his hand, revealing a shiny, black Crystal Scorpion Tail Stinger, which floated before Jorren.

"Senior, you are a Master Refiner, can you help me see how this could be refined into a Flying Sword?"

Jorren’s eyes lit up as he extended his hands, cradling the enormous stinger and examining it closely for a moment. Then he raised his head and said, "This seems like the tail stinger of some Demonic Beast?"

Carson nodded, "A Demon Crystal Scorpion’s tail stinger."

Jorren praised, "What a material! Although the shell of scorpion-type Demonic Beasts is very hard, the essence is concentrated in this stinger, truly a convergence of essence. Not only is the material hard, rivaling various metals, but the tip of the stinger is also extremely sharp, with incredible piercing power. Once refined into a Flying Sword, it would have significant advantages against barriers and Protection Shields."

Jorren pondered briefly before responding, "This stinger is already very perfect; it only needs a small amount of other materials added, along with integrating the appropriate Formation, to become a flawless Flying Sword."

Carson probed, "How long would it take to refine such a Flying Sword?"

Jorren stroked his white beard and said with a smile, "Artifact Refining is a meticulous task. Even though the required modifications aren’t many, the essential alterations cannot be omitted. After all, this stinger is quite original and requires the corresponding changes to be considered a true Flying Sword."

"If I were to refine it, it would take three days, but if someone else did it, it would probably take five days. So, my friend, are you thinking of asking me to help refine this stinger into a Flying Sword?"

Three days?

Carson calculated in his mind; with the total number of stingers he obtained exceeding fifteen hundred, refining them all would take four thousand five hundred days. And that’s without any breaks.

Four thousand five hundred days, which is nearly thirteen years!

Carson didn’t answer Jorren directly; instead, he asked, "For refining such Flying Swords, can only one be refined at a time, or is it possible to refine multiple at once?"

Jorren laughed, "I mentioned earlier that Artifact Refining is meticulous. To refine a good magical treasure, no detail can be wrong. Even though powerful beings can multitask mentally, unless they have cultivation techniques specifically suited for this, it’s hard to ensure no mistakes are made."

"If the materials are the same, I can indeed refine several at once. However, I cannot assure perfect quality without errors."

Hearing Jorren’s explanation, Carson’s mind became clear. He then asked, "Is the technique for refining this stinger complex? Does it involve techniques that cannot be transmitted?"

Jorren understood Carson’s intent and said with a smile, "The Crystal Scorpion Tail Stinger is already very perfect, and the refining process is not complex. Good techniques enhance the product’s quality. Could it be that you want to learn Artifact Refining and refine it yourself? There’s really no need for that. It’s not that you lack talent, but even if you learn it, it would require a lot of effort, and destroyed materials are gone for good. It’s just a stinger, and in three days, I can assist you with this."

Jorren paused, then added, "Whether or not you wish to lend me the Phoenix Fire, this small favor I can still help you with."

Carson shook his head, "Senior, this stinger is just a sample. The number I want refined is quite large, and I wouldn’t dare trouble you."

It’s merely borrowing the fire for use, but Carson didn’t believe he had the clout to keep a Grandmaster sitting idly refining for over ten years. Besides, he couldn’t wait that long.

Traveling back and forth had already consumed considerable time, and he was worried about his family back home. He only wanted to quickly complete his tasks and head to the Crimson Immortal Domain; lingering here was impossible.

Of course, there were countless Artifact Refiners in the Star River Sect. If Jorren agreed, and if all qualified Refiners in the Sect got involved, the job would be completed swiftly. But Carson doubted he had such influence!

Carson aimed to learn the specific techniques for refining the stinger so he could gradually refine them himself.

Carson’s cultivation with the Primeval Myriad Sword Art was actually a multitasking divine ability; otherwise, how could he precisely control thousands of Flying Swords?

Besides, Carson possessed the Doppelganger Divine Ability. If he learned it, wouldn’t his Incarnation learn it too?

Once he mastered the refining techniques, he could deploy a multitude of Incarnations in the Ethereal Pagoda to refine them gradually. Would there still be a fear of not completing the thousand-plus stingers?

Jorren laughed, "Such stingers are not ordinary items; they’re hard to come by. How many do you have?"

Carson felt slightly awkward, hesitated for a couple of seconds, and finally replied, "Over fifteen hundred of them."

"Hiss!"

Jorren’s hands trembled, nearly pulling off his own beard, wincing in pain. His smile froze, eyes widening as he blurted out, "So many, how did you manage that?"
