Chapter 161 - end of secret realm

I looked at Eithen for a few minutes and connected the dots. The more I thought about it, the more possible it seemed.

I put on a neutral expression and waited for him to wake up. Then I asked as if I hadn’t heard him.

"What did you say?"

He looked at me and panicked to the maximum.

"Ah, I said thank you."

I just looked at him with amusement.

"No problem."

I handed him a water bottle as well.

"Go wake up the others."

He nodded and looked at the water bottle in confusion.

I didn’t wait any longer, but I made a mental note about him.

Hmm... System, huh? Interesting.

I didn’t care if he had a system or even an Origin Core. If he came in my path, I wouldn’t let him off easily.

Then I went to the demons’ side and looked down at them.

I waited for a few seconds before taking another water bottle and, as usual, pouring it over one of them.

He woke up violently like the others. The moment he saw me, a murderous aura appeared around him.

He clenched his hand and threw a heavy punch at me.

I anticipated this from them so before i wake them up i had already activated my Perception, so I could see his movements as if they were moving in slow motion.

I took a step back, augmented my body with Abyssal energy, and threw a violent punch into his stomach.

He spat out saliva and blood before going unconscious again.

I avoided from his saliva and blood and looked at him with a cold gaze.

Outside, the Empress watched that and said to the Demon King,

"Ooh, that must have hurt."

She laughed.

The Demon King watched my actions closely.

"He didn’t augment himself with mana, and he didn’t use mana at all in that attack. How is he so powerful at that age?"

The Empress smirked.

"Don’t even try to understand that kid. He has many surprises. I’ve only seen him use his full power once. That kid likes to keep his cards close to himself."

The Elf Queen looked at the Empress.

"What is he going to do?"

The Empress watched me and simply sighed.

I used Darkness to create several tentacles, grabbed the demon and five others, dragged them out of the Secret Realm, and threw them outside.

Then I simply walked away.

The Demon King saw that and became a little angry, so he came to my side and released some of his presence, intending to make me fall back. Otherwise, it would be an insult to the demons.

At that moment, as soon as he released his presence, my mom drew her sword.

"What did you try to do?"

But his presence had already been released, and I was affected by it.

Mom looked at me with worry.

I just yawned.

The Empress also came to my side and looked at the situation. Her eyes darkened.

"I never trust a demon’s word."

Everyone looked at me.

I was extremely sleepy, but when all of them stared at me, my sleepiness slowly faded.

I looked back at them in confusion.

"What? I’m tired, and I need to sleep."

The Empress’s eyes twitched.

Mom asked me,

"Gray, are you okay? Did you get affected by the pressure of this disgusting creature?"

Mom glared at him. She wouldn’t hesitate to fight the Demon King for me.

I looked at her and asked,

"What pressure?"

I tilted my head slightly. I genuinely hadn’t felt anything.

Then I remembered.

"Ah, pressure. I forgot."

Mom still looked worried and checked me, only to find that I was completely fine.

The only thing affecting me was my sleepiness.

I immediately said,

"Mom, I told you. I awakened my physique. One of its functions is that I can ignore the pressure of higher beings. Those things don’t affect me."

I smiled brightly.

Mom finally understood, and her worried expression softened a little.

"Go to Amy’s side and wait."

I nodded obediently and teleported to Amy’s side.

Mom’s warm expression vanished, and she looked at the Demon King with extreme coldness.

The Demon King didn’t dare to make another move.

He understood that if he made a move, all the children from every race could die in the backlash or be badly injured.

And as soon as that happened, all the races would come after the demon race and wipe them out.

He also respected the strength I had displayed. The fact that I could so easily ignore his presence and remain completely unaffected surprised him.

But his mood became a little better.

If a coward did something like that to members of his race, he would never let it go, even if it meant death.

So he used his power to secure all six members of his race and vanished.

Mom and the Empress simply watched. They didn’t stop him either.

Then the Empress said,

"Your son has nerves of steel, hmm."

"And it seems he got a massive power-up in the Secret Realm."

Mom simply smiled.

"He’s always been like that, finding every path to get stronger."

"Let’s go, Aurelia. Let’s end today’s matters."

The Empress nodded.

Amy’s Side

I went to Amy and looked at her.

"Hey, Sis. I’m really tired now."

She looked at my tired face and smiled before nodding.

"Just wait a few moments. We can go."

I nodded.

I was really exhausted and sleepy. I could probably fall asleep while standing.

Luna came to my side and chuckled.

"Why did you pour cold water on them? It’s so mean, but I like it."

I gave her a small smile. I was still half-asleep as I replied,

"That’s the fastest way to wake them up."

Luna smiled at that and sat beside me to wait.

"You look so sleepy if you want take a little nap here right sister amy"

Amy look at us and nodded "yes gray if you really want take a little nap they don’t end this for few moments an we just can’t go abandoning everyone"

I nodded i really want that nap i now all the things resolved i felt all the pent up sleepiness at once.

But i just can’t take a nap like this here i try to stay awake but it’s ultimately pointless without even noticing i fell a sleep.

Luna look saw that and smiled and pointed me to Amy.

She look at me and let my sleeping body lean into to and she stay silent so i won’t gat awake.

But even she make a noise the state i’m in not going to gat up easily.

The Empress and the other races’ representatives gathered and retrieved their people from the Secret Realm.

The Elf Princess came out with a scowl, glaring at me for what I had done.

Rosalia went to her mother’s side and stayed with the vampires.

Then they all talked and discussed some things before excusing themselves.

My mom looked toward me and saw that I had fallen asleep beside Amy and Luna.

She smiled at that and approached Amy.

As soon as Amy saw Mom coming, she smiled and pointed at me.

Mom nodded, and everyone gathered around and began making preparations to leave for the place where we were temporarily staying.

Mom said,

"Let’s stay here for one more day and rest. Then we can go."

Amy nodded.

As for the Empress, she went to check on Elena and make sure everything was fine before making preparations to leave.

As soon as everything was set, Mom looked at my sleeping figure.

She didn’t hesitate for even a moment.

She carefully lifted me up, making sure I didn’t wake up, and carried me with her.

To her, carrying me was nothing, but she still made sure I was completely comfortable.

Amy looked at the sight and pouted.

"Hey, you don’t do those things for me. Favoritism."

Mom simply smiled and said,

"You’re too big for those. And weren’t you the one who told me it was embarrassing?"

Amy was caught by her own words and had no response.

"That... that’s... Oh, never mind."

Mom just watched that and smiled.

Amy followed Mom, but a small smile played on her face as she looked at my sleeping face.

Then they talked about the Secret Realm and other things on the way.

The Empress said she would listen to all the details tomorrow when everyone was gathered.

They nodded and finally arrived at the place where we were temporarily staying.

Mom went inside and, as usual, put me to bed.

She covered me with a blanket, kissed my forehead, and left the room after making sure I was sleeping comfortably.

Everyone else returned to their rooms as well.

And the day came to an end like that.
