Chapter 613: Chapter 334: That’s Right, I Killed Them All

However, the expected shattered shoulder never occurred. The bald man’s power poured into the strike, but it felt like hitting a block of ancient black iron. It didn’t budge an inch.

"Could this be... a Body Cultivator?" he wondered in shock.

Jiang Man turned to look at him, his gaze so calm it was chilling. At the same time, his hand had already clamped down on the bald man’s wrist. In the instant the bald man’s power erupted, Jiang Man forcefully wrenched his grip open and pulled him forward. The bald man’s body involuntarily pitched forward, completely losing his balance. Immediately after, the back of Jiang Man’s other hand slammed into the side of the bald man’s face.

BANG!

The bald man used his only remaining hand to block the sudden Attack. However, his arm failed to completely withstand the blow.

CRACK!

With a crisp sound, the clear noise of a fracturing forearm bone echoed out, and his arm bent at an unnatural angle. The fist punched through his deformed arm’s Defense, landing heavily on the side of his face. His entire face began to twist and deform, his cheekbones caving in as blood simultaneously spilled from the corners of his eyes, nose, and mouth.

BOOM!

The bald man was sent flying, bouncing twice on the ground before rolling dozens of feet away. He only came to a halt after smashing through several thick, ancient trees.

At that exact moment, the winds and clouds in the sky surged as a giant palm descended. In his haste, Jiang Man threw out a palm strike to counter it.

BOOM!

The bombardment of power forced Jiang Man downward, driving him into a crater. As the energy dispersed, the surrounding earth was ripped entirely away. Before he could fully absorb the opponent’s powerful Attack, Jiang Man reached out and grabbed her wrist. The aftershocks of the power struck his body, making his internal organs churn violently, but he had successfully caught his target.

Without the slightest hesitation, he violently yanked the short woman down and threw a punch simultaneously.

BANG!

The fist smashed into the short woman’s abdomen, causing her body to cave in instantly as the crater in the ground expanded once more. A portion of the woman’s body shattered, and she violently spat out a mouthful of blood. Gritting her teeth, she severed the arm Jiang Man had grabbed and used a blood escape art to flee from the Attack range.

Before Jiang Man could pursue her, the others in the vicinity immediately launched another Attack. Jiang Man reacted swiftly. Throughout the clash, his figure and theirs rapidly vanished and reappeared amidst the mountain forest. Every collision kicked up shockwaves like a violent storm. Numerous Magic Skills shook heaven and earth, reducing miles of the forest into ruins. Giant trees were uprooted, massive boulders shattered and scattered, and horrifying ravines were carved into the earth.

Those people were repeatedly sent flying by Jiang Man, only to resume their assaults. It was as if they were unkillable.

However, as they fought, an imposing momentum began to gather around Jiang Man. It was an indescribable sense of oppression that constantly tempered and condensed his Heart Spirit and willpower. With every punch and every block, this momentum grew thicker and more profound.

A heavy sense of powerlessness began to spread in the hearts of the crowd. They realized that today wasn’t about them fighting to the death against this "Old He" before them, but rather about this man slaughtering them. Thoughts of retreat sprouted in their minds. Unfortunately, they felt a Heart Spirit trapping them in place.

They couldn’t escape.

"Sir, there are many things we can trade with each other. Our intelligence is absolutely something you have never encountered before," the white-haired man spoke up.

"There’s no longer a need for that," Jiang Man’s cold voice rang out.

At this point, he felt the time was right to kill them all. But in the instant he prepared to make his move, he suddenly sensed a terrifying surge of power.

BOOM!

High in the distant sky, a powerful aura of energy suddenly erupted. Then, a beam of light pierced the heavens from within the mountain range.

"The location of the Sword Tomb?" he thought in shock, wondering if something had happened over there.

At this moment, the radiant power cleaved the sky apart, and countless energies ran wildly out of control before shooting in their direction.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

These energies pierced through everyone in the vicinity. Even Jiang Man was forced back repeatedly by the bombardment. This was no wild rampage; it was a targeted slaughter.

The short woman immediately threw a book toward Jiang Man, shouting, "This contains all the information you want!" Afterward, she used a blood escape art to flee.

The white-haired man similarly tossed a Storage Treasure to Jiang Man, saying, "There are massive amounts of resources in here." He then executed a blood escape art to flee as well.

Because they fled behind Jiang Man, the power Attacks landed directly on him, buying them some time to escape.

The others weren’t quite as lucky. They were completely impaled by the chaotic energies.

Jiang Man’s hands went numb from being battered, but he managed to secure the Storage Treasure and the book. Glancing in the direction the two had fled, he chose not to pursue them and instead headed toward the Sword Tomb.

He needed to see what had happened over there. If the mission failed, everything would be completely ruined. Returning Void would be hopeless, not to mention Licheng Immortal Dojo.

Jiang Man quickly returned to the Sword Tomb and located the place where he had previously discovered the unique power. He still couldn’t enter that area and had originally planned to take his time with it. But when he went over this time, he found that he could no longer sense anything.

"It’s just gone?" Jiang Man muttered in surprise. Shortly after, he noticed that numerous Arrays had appeared in the surroundings. These Arrays were exceedingly peculiar.

"They look somewhat similar to the Array on the altar," he mused. "Were they laid down by the same person? Or are they just the same type?"

Jiang Man immediately took out pen and paper to record them, planning to ask someone about it later. Furthermore, he genuinely had no idea what had been lost here, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that he had missed an opportunity to unlock a Talent.

"I thought this matter would be resolved once I dealt with those people outside," he sighed, "but I didn’t expect someone else to be hiding in the shadows."

Jiang Man patted the dust off his body, having no choice but to accept reality. Some people operated in the open, while others plotted in the dark; it was unavoidable.

Soon, Zhuo Qingcheng and the others rushed inside. Seeing that Jiang Man was unharmed, they all breathed a sigh of relief.

"Senior Brother, what happened?" Zhuo Qingcheng asked as she quickly walked up to him.
