Chapter 2272: Sena With The Bad News

"He is far weaker than Arad or Gojo when he was an adult." Eris frowned, and Luminous tapped her on the shoulder. "Despite his look, that Void Dragon is quite powerful for a starter. Don’t compare him with Arad and Gojo; those two are absolute monsters."

"I know he is powerful. With that magic, I bet he can vaporize an entire continent... What did that angel even mean by saying he can fit a whole planet? I thought void dragons have bigger stomachs."

"Usually, drakainas have a bigger stomach than the dragons. That’s why they carry the worlds and fly with them. But the dragons are faster and stronger, making them much more mobile in battle." Luminous pointed at the dragon. "But as you can see, as powerful as he is, he is nowhere near Arad."

"I can see that... Arad is just... stronger, by a lot." Eris mumbled, and Luminous lifted an eyebrow. "What? Did you think I’d go on all fours and pant like a dog to a regular dragon? Arad is far stronger for what an adult void dragon should be."

Linda, who approached, looked down as well. "Yeah, that one is weak... too weak." She leaned on Eris’s shoulder. "Arad could probably beat ten of him just to warm up. And what’s up with him only holding a planet? Doesn’t that mean he won’t be able to endure a single elemental expansion from me or Luminous?"

Hecate approached, looked down, and gulped. "That dragon is strong, but..." Having felt Arad’s presence in the future of this battle, she could only imagine how powerful he would be. "I’ll ask again: is it possible to get Lord Arad here?"

"Why are you calling him a lord now? I’m not bringing him here unless it’s really important." Eris looked at her. "Besides, this is supposed to be a learning experience for my angels and me. We have Amaterasu and Yog for backup, and even Kayden is here. I don’t think we need him with all of those powerhouses here, and I’m not even counting you or the other gods."

Hecate frowned. "I can’t believe it either. Even with all of our power, we can’t achieve the same flawless victory that Lord Arad can. Seeing that both Lady Luminous and Lady Linda here feel that way about him makes me even more certain."

"Arad is indeed powerful..." Luminous looked back at her. "But... I suggest leaving him out of this fight for his own good. He isn’t in perfect health now. Straining his body could only damage him, and no matter how important this fight is, it isn’t worth risking him getting injured."

Hecate gulped. "But... we’ll lose the teleportation platform, many void dragons, angels, and we might even lose this section of the universe’s crust to the abominable forces."

Linda turned toward her with glowing red eyes as the shadows in the entire tent turned even darker. "Then let them die. No, I’ll kill you and them myself if you dare put Arad’s life at risk."

At that moment, Hecate remembered something from her past when she was still just a demigoddess wandering in her home world. She was young, beautiful, powerful, and desired by many.

One day, she was walking down a long path between two cities, seeking a quest, when a strange woman appeared on the road. The woman was tall, had skin as pale as snow, glowing red eyes, and hair split between white and black. Hecate immediately knew the woman was trouble, but she could’ve never expected what happened next.

The woman beat Hecate to a pulp, stripped her naked, and pissed on her. She didn’t explain why, only saying one sentence. "Put him at risk, and I’ll rip you out of your father’s ballsack."

Hecate could also remember her father telling a story; she was but a young human girl at the time, hiding in the pantry, as her family owned a bar and her father was the bartender. The story was about him meeting a strange woman with white and black hair, red eyes, and skin as pale as snow, and how she kicked him in the balls over and over until he passed out before disappearing into the sunset.

Hecate then remembered her mother once showing her the midwife who helped deliver her; the woman was tall, had white and black hair, red eyes, and skin as pale as snow. Hecate’s mother was so happy talking about how that woman appeared out of nowhere just when she was in labor, even though a vicious storm was blowing outside.

Hecate grabbed her face, terrified, and fell to her knees, screaming. Linda squatted in front of her and looked at her face with a smile. "Get Arad hurt, and I won’t even let you become a WAS."

"What... did you do?" Hecate cried, and Linda smiled. "Simple, I went to the past and gave you a visit. This is what it’s like facing a time dragon... we don’t play fair, even if we can. I’ll kill you before you’re even born. No one will remember someone who didn’t exist."

Linda then stood and walked back to her seat, leaving the stunned Hecate to recover on her own. How did Arad even get such a horrifying drakaina to submit to him? Hecate already could tell that Arad was powerful, but did he come out of the womb a monster? Couldn’t Linda have killed his father or mother?

Linda had, in fact, tried to kill Arad in the past when they fought, but his mother stopped her. Of course, Linda could’ve gone after Alcott... but she knew better and didn’t want to face the Dragon Slayer at his prime.

Sena suddenly walked into the tent and looked at them. "What’s going on? Why is she scared like that?"

Eris shrugged. "Linda scared her. Hecate really wants Arad to join this fight... but that might hurt him."

Hearing that Sena approached Hecate and helped her stand. "Listen, Arad can join this fight, but he shouldn’t. It’ll be bad for the long term if he does. At this moment, it is more important to let him rest." ℯℯ𝑙.

As she got Hecate to her chair, Luminous called, and asked her. "That prison room thing you tried to bribe Amaterasu and Yog with. What was it?"

Sena smiled. "It’s a massive, world-sized room full of writhing, oily black tentacles. It is quite similar to my elemental expansion and has many uses." She shrugged. "The tentacles there are as strong as the tentacles the avatars of Nyar use, and it can grant those tentacles to anyone, but only one at a time."

"So? It gives anyone power equal to that of an avatar?" Hearing that, Sena nodded. "Exactly... but I’m sure those two only want to use it for pleasure. Also... they probably love it since it’s a part of father."

"I see..." Luminous giggled. "So those two got bribed with a toy? How great."

"Come on, let them be. As long as they keep the universe safe and sound and don’t get in Arad’s way, that’s all that matters." Sena walked and pulled a chair to sit on. "So, the news. I located where the avatar is and... we got a big, fat, humongous, titanic problem."

They all looked at her. "What kind of problem?"

"There are two of them, and to make matters worse, there is a good chance that Vorvadoss is there as well." Sena’s face twisted into a somber frown.
