Chapter 360 Grokus' Mass Buff Skill

Kaladin’s view from up high in the sky was magnificent. He could see the smoke rising from the damaged base on the Demons’ side. It was a brilliant display of power by Leon, he thought. To do something so devastating that it left the Demons with chills running down their spines.
“Everyone, do your best. The Master is testing us, and this is our chance to show we are good enough!” He encouraged the other elite summons as they all rushed past him. Among all of them, the only one that did not rush ahead was Grokus. The massive Orc Shaman floated beside Kaladin in the sky.
β “Won’t you go ahead with the others?” Kaladin asked.
“Not this time. I want to test out something new.” Grokus replied with a vicious smirk on his face. The two tusks on the sides of his mouth flashed with green light as mana pulsed through every inch of Grokus’ body. His eyes blazed with light as he spread out his arms. The skull totems hanging from his hips began to shake until one detached from the others and floated before him.
“It’s time to test this out.” He spoke to himself as he prepared to use a new skill he had acquired after his race advancement.
“Buffalo Sigil!” With a deep voice, he spoke out and a light flashed from the sockets of the skull. “Cougar Sigil. Hydra Sigil. Porcupine Sigil. Frost Sigil. Flame Sigil.” The sockets of the skull flashed with successive lights as it was imbued with a variety of buffs.
One thing that Orc Shamans were particularly good at was casting curses and buffs. Grokus was only so-so when it came to curses, but when it came to buffs, he was completely unmatched!
The towering Orc Shaman pressed the skull to his chest, and a bright light washed from his body, temporarily blinding anyone who was looking. When the light died down, he was still floating in the air, but a black skull was now protruding from the center of his chest, where his sternum was supposed to be.
At the same time, through the invisible connection that all of Leon’s summons shared with each other, a vast amount of power reached all the elite A ranks. All the Sigils that Grokus had chanted flashed over their bodies, imbuing them with greater power and might. Their attack power increased several times over, while their health and regenerative ability also received significant boosts.
With this boosts, the elite summons confidently charged ahead and engaged the defending Demons in brutal combat. The difference was immediately clear.
Nero dodged a strike from a spear and parried another strike from a sword with his own sword, before using his shield to bash the face of the four-armed Demon that held multiple weapons in its arms.
Bam!
Instantly, the head of the Demon exploded into chunks of flesh and bone. It died in one hit! The stronger Demons instantly realized what a threat certain summons posed and sprang forth.
Weapons and magic whizzed through the air as they tried to pin Oris down. Two Low A rank Demons and one Mid A rank Demon simultaneously attacked him in order to limit his movements, but there was nothing they could do to stop him. Even when they used the mana in the atmosphere to try and block his teleportation, he forcefully broke through their attempts and appeared at a different area to launch devastating attacks.
BOOM!
A giant snake broke through the ground and rose its massive head. On top of the snake’s head was a smaller figure. It was Seth. He manifested his mana in a way that it created a copy of himself to fight alongside him. While he could still transform into his giant snake form, he wanted to test out some things, and this was the perfect opportunity, so why not?
The giant snake hissed to the sky as a black light began to build up under its scales. The light gradually rose up until it reached the back of its throat and the snake pointed its head downwards, releasing a thick beam of black light that instantly drilled into the ground.
The giant snake did not stop there, and dragged the beam along the entire length of the forward base. Wherever the beam passed, a lingering heat remained, which instantly turned into a delayed explosion that swallowed everything in its radius.
At the same time, the smaller figure of Seth flashed through the sky, battling against three Low A ranks that had tried to disrupt his clone’s attack. A black spear with a lean snake running along its shaft flashed around and cut through the skin of the Demons. They were unable to match up with his sheer speed and agility, and were force to back down and fall back.
On a different part of the battlefield, a hail of black ice rained down on a High A rank Demon, suppressing the Demon from doing anything. A black furred Werewolf floated in the sky and held out his hand. Fenrir felt no rush of excitement from fighting just one Demon. In fact, to the current him, this hail of ice was even overkill for the Demon. He could beat her up with his fists!
Thinking of that, Fenrir’s eyes lit up and he stopped the hail. Without waiting for the Demon to recuperate, he dashed forward, appearing before her in a moment’s notice, and burying his fist in her abdomen.
Boom!
A muffled sound rang out as the Demon’s body folded over Fenrir’s arm. The ground underneath them exploded from the insane force that was transferred into it, and a shockwave blasted out with the two of them at the center just before the Demon’s body was sent flying.
“Hey, I’m not done yet!” Fenrir growled and chased after her, causing the ground to shatter into smaller pieces once again.
His body was barely visible as afterimages flashed around the Demon so quickly that she could barely even register them. Meanwhile, a powerful rain of punches pounded every single bone in her body to dust.
