Chapter 108: Chapter 107: The Hunt Begins Now!
THUD—
After a dizzying spin, Yu Zhun felt his feet hit solid ground. The familiar Darkness surrounded him.
[Nether Land 23rd Floor]
A line of text appeared before his eyes.
When he looked up, ten Golden pillars of Light scattered in different locations were the only colors in this pure Darkness.
The Nether Abyss Dungeon continued the map of the Nether Trial, starting from the twenty-third floor.
This shared world between the two Dungeons was called the Nether Land, consisting of thirty-three floors in total.
The Nether Abyss encompassed the final eleven floors, exactly half the number of floors in the Nether Trial.
However, the size of each floor here rivaled an entire, complete Dungeon.
The ten pillars of Light were ten Teleportation Arrays leading to the twenty-fourth floor.
Near each Teleportation Array were masses of powerful common monsters, Elite Monsters, and one floor boss.
Unlike the Nether Trial, where players only needed to teleport to the next floor to receive the previous floor’s rewards, in the Nether Abyss, one had to kill the floor boss to obtain the rewards for that floor.
This meant that out of the 100 people who entered the Nether Abyss this time, only 10 could obtain the twenty-third floor’s reward.
With every descending floor, the number of Teleportation Arrays would decrease by one. By the time players went from the thirty-second floor to the thirty-third floor, only a single Teleportation Array would remain.
The method to clear the Nether Abyss Dungeon was to reach the thirty-third floor of the Nether Land and slay the boss located there.
The player who dealt the fatal blow to the boss would be the conqueror.
At the moment of clearance, any other surviving players would be deemed losers.
As for the dead players... they wouldn’t even count as losers; they would be nothing more than dry bones.
After confirming the location of the nearest pillar of Light, Yu Zhun took out a pair of sunglasses from his inventory and put them on.
Item [Daytime Sunglasses]: Increases visibility in the Darkness.
The next second, Yu Zhun spotted a figure crouching dozens of meters away, staring intently in his direction.
It was a humanoid creature completely turned pitch-black, its body covered in Demon Patterns. Gripping a dagger in its hand, it radiated an incomparably powerful killing intent.
[Demon Assassin (Lv25)]
[Stats:
Life: 500,000
Mana: 5000
Physical Attack: 8000
Magic Attack: 0
Physical Defense: 3000
Magic Defense: 3000]
Seeing the creature’s stats clearly, Yu Zhun couldn’t help massaging his temples. You call this a common monster? With these numbers... Put it this way: a Lv35 Red Moon Tide boss, the Red Moon Golem, had stats similar to this thing before the red-name Mechanism was applied.
Realizing it had been discovered, the Demon Assassin abandoned its stealth without hesitation. It lunged forward, slashing its dagger straight at Yu Zhun’s neck.
"My name is Yu Zhun."
[Swift Step], activated!
[Sword Dance], activated!
Yu Zhun moved like lightning, quickly twisting his body to narrowly dodge the enemy’s blade. In the same breath, he countered, thrusting his own dagger at the monster.
"With this strike, I grant you your ultimate demise!"
[Life -500,000]
The Demon Assassin fell stiffly to the ground, completely devoid of life.
Landing lightly, Yu Zhun glanced at his shield, which had just skyrocketed by 100,000 points. His electrifying gaze then locked onto a woman standing not far away.
She looked no different from a Blue Star human. Clad in a suit of Armor, she tightly gripped a gleaming Long Sword. She had silvery-white hair and gray eyes.

[Marcell, Lv30]
Marcell’s pupils shrank violently at that moment as she wondered if she had been discovered. She had clearly witnessed the entire process of Yu Zhun killing the Demon Assassin.
An Assassin Profession, dealing a whopping 500,000 damage, killing it in a single blow!
Not only that, but the opponent before her had a massive 20% life-steal ratio and an Equipment effect that converted excess Healing into a shield.
Moreover, he possessed extraordinarily exquisite combat skills. Hidden within his clean and decisive kill was a breathtaking beauty.
It was a [Sword Dance] at Lv4 or higher!
He even had energy to spare to utter such domineering words mid-combat. Clearly, before the battle even began, he was absolutely certain he could slay his foe without taking a single scratch!
This composure, unique only to the strong, was truly astonishing!
Entering an ultra-high difficulty 4A-grade Dungeon for the first time, Marcell never expected to encounter an Alien Race so soon.
And such an incredibly powerful Alien Race at that!
But upon seeing Yu Zhun walking toward her step by step, Marcell tightened her grip on her Long Sword, her gray eyes flickering with a sharp glint. If his opponent was her, everything would be in vain! It was all because of her talent—the SSS-grade talent, [King’s Way Manifested]!
After taking damage, her next attack would ignore target defense and deal additional damage equal to her damage reduction value!
With a massive stack of Equipment and skill effects, Marcell could reach a peak damage reduction of 95% when going all out!
This meant that upon receiving any attack, Marcell would only take 5% of the damage. However, her subsequent attack would return the remaining 95% damage to her opponent while ignoring all defense!
Relying on such an astonishing talent, Marcell was the first player in her world to successfully reach the twenty-second floor of the Nether Trial!
She was the pride of her world, hailed as the number one genius player, and seen as the hope for her world’s future rise!
She was the sword that broke through the dawn, the star that guided the long night!
She was the [Long Night Morning Star], Marcell!
The opponent was indeed terrifying. Being able to deal 500,000 damage in one hit likely meant he possessed a highly explosive SSS-grade Assassin talent.
However, under her damage reduction, that 500,000 damage would be reduced to a mere 25,000!
With her Life Value as high as 110,000, she could easily withstand such damage!
"Are you ready?" Yu Zhun looked calmly at the girl before him. A faint trace of hesitation flashed in his eyes, but remembering Blue Star’s current situation, that last sliver of hesitation quickly dissipated.
