Taming the Tyrant Beast Women
Chapter 76: One Kick, One Elimination [Part 2]
One Kick, One Elimination [Part 2]
The match continued.
Leon and Selena’s dominance showed no signs of waning.
The students and beast-soul masters who had wanted to gang up on him were now dead silent.
Who dared to step forward now?
Looking at Selena’s cold, merciless gaze, they felt a deep chill run down their spines.
Leon’s contempt only grew as he watched them hesitate.
A single round lasted about ten minutes.
Barely two minutes had passed.
And half the competitors were already gone.
Most of those who had provoked Leon had been eliminated.
Only a handful remained, scattered among the survivors.
Under Selena’s terrifying pressure, even those who didn’t know Leon began grouping together.
Terrified of being eliminated by him.
"Leon’s beast-girl—how is she this strong?!"
"Damn, I don’t know! She hasn’t even used a beast-soul skill—just raw physical power—and she’s already eliminated half the arena!"
"Yeah, I thought he was just an ordinary student, but..."
"You really can’t judge a book by its cover. Leon was hiding so much!"
The atmosphere on the arena was frozen solid.
Everyone stunned by the overwhelming display of power.
Those who had been so eager to provoke him now felt nothing but regret and remorse.
If only they hadn’t targeted Leon, they could have lasted longer!
"If only I’d known..." A student who had provoked Leon earlier muttered to himself.
His face was pale.
His eyes filled with regret.
Leon watched them.
His hand found Evelyn’s waist.
Pulled her close.
"Enjoying the show?"
Evelyn smiled.
"Very much. Watching them panic is quite entertaining."
Selena landed beside them.
Her golden eyes scanning the remaining competitors.
"Should I finish them off, darling?"
Leon shook his head.
"Let them stew a little longer. The fear is more satisfying."
Evelyn laughed.
"You’re cruel."
"Only to those who deserve it."
Leon surveyed the remaining competitors with casual disinterest.
"Selena—warm-up’s over. Let’s finish this quickly."
Selena nodded.
Her eyes gleaming.
"With pleasure, darling."
She launched forward.
The remaining competitors scattered.
But there was nowhere to run.
Nowhere to hide.
Grouping together?
What good would that do?
In the face of absolute power—everything is just dust in the wind.
One by one.
They fell.
The arena emptied.
And Leon stood at the center.
His women beside him.
The crowd silent.
And the match was over.
"Damn, I don’t know! She hasn’t even used a beast-soul skill—just raw physical power—and she’s already eliminated half the arena!"
His companion’s face twitched.
He stared at Selena from a distance, still struggling to process what he had just witnessed.
"Yeah, I thought he was just an ordinary student, but..."
He didn’t finish.
There was no need.
Everyone understood what he meant.
The person they had considered an easy target had turned out to be anything but ordinary.
Leon had barely done anything himself.
He had simply stood there and watched.
Meanwhile, Selena had torn through the battlefield with frightening ease.
She hadn’t relied on some flashy beast-soul technique.
She hadn’t revealed some complicated ability.
She had simply used her body.
Her strength.
Her speed.
Her overwhelming physical power.
And somehow, that was even more frightening.
"You really can’t judge a book by its cover. Leon was hiding so much!"
A few people nodded silently.
Nobody argued.
There wasn’t much anyone could say.
The evidence was standing right in front of them.
The atmosphere on the arena was frozen solid.
The noise that had filled the battlefield earlier had almost completely disappeared.
Competitors who had been shouting at one another moments ago were now watching Selena carefully.
Some tightened their grip on their weapons.
Others exchanged nervous glances.
A few had already begun reconsidering their original plans.
Everyone had entered the match expecting a chaotic opening.
They had expected competitors to rush toward one another.
They had expected alliances to form.
They had expected powerful students to immediately reveal their beast-soul skills.
What they hadn’t expected was for one person and his beast-girl to dominate the battlefield so completely.
Leon hadn’t even needed to step into the fight himself.
Selena had done almost everything.
And that realization made the remaining competitors even more nervous.
They had seen Selena’s strength.
They had seen how effortlessly she had broken through their defenses.
They had seen opponents who thought they could stop her get thrown out of the battle within moments.
But Selena wasn’t the only mystery.
Leon was.
If Selena was already this powerful, then what exactly was Leon capable of?
That question lingered in everyone’s mind.
Nobody wanted to find out.
Not anymore.
The people who had been so eager to provoke him earlier now felt nothing but regret and remorse.
Their memories of the beginning of the match came rushing back.
Every mocking remark.
Every arrogant laugh.
Every dismissive glance.
Every moment when they had looked at Leon and thought he wouldn’t be able to do anything to them.
At the time, they had felt confident.
Now those memories felt painfully stupid.
If only they hadn’t targeted Leon, they could have lasted longer.
They might have avoided Selena altogether.
They might still have been fighting.
They might even have had a chance of reaching the final stages.
Instead, they had thrown away their own opportunities because they had mistaken silence for weakness.
"If only I’d known..." A student who had provoked Leon earlier muttered to himself.
His voice was barely audible.
His face was pale.
There was no arrogance left in his eyes.
Only regret.
He lowered his head slightly and stared at the ground.
He couldn’t stop thinking about how different things might have been if he had simply ignored Leon.
Maybe he would still be fighting.
Maybe he could have made it farther into the match.
Maybe he could have avoided being eliminated so early.
But all of those thoughts were meaningless now.
The result had already been decided.
An elimination was an elimination.
No amount of regret could change what had already happened.
The student clenched his fists.
His nails dug into his palms.
He hated himself for making such an obvious mistake.
But more than anything, he hated the fact that there was nothing he could do about it.
