Taming the Tyrant Beast Women
Chapter 75: One Kick, One Elimination
One Kick, One Elimination
They were sent tumbling off the stage before they even had a chance to fight back.
One moment, they were standing there.
The next, they were flying through the air.
Within seconds, a huge gap had opened up across the arena.
The spectators stared in disbelief.
"So fast?! What kind of speed is that?!"
Cecilia and the other teachers swallowed hard.
None of them had expected this.
Not even close.
Their eyes remained fixed on the battlefield.
One of the teachers finally broke the silence.
"This is Leon’s contracted beast-girl... Selena?"
"She’s this strong?!"
"Just using raw physical power alone?!"
There wasn’t even a trace of a complicated technique.
No flashy Battle Art.
No elaborate strategy.
Selena simply moved.
And whenever she moved, someone went flying.
But Cecilia and the teachers weren’t the only ones watching.
Far more eyes were fixed on this match than they realized.
In the capital of Bellemont Province, a massive conference room was already buzzing with activity.
Screens covered one entire wall.
Several groups of observers sat in front of them, each responsible for recording the matches taking place in their assigned regions.
The atmosphere had been relatively calm.
That changed the moment Selena began moving.
"Whoa..."
One observer leaned toward the screen.
"This student named Leon... his beast-girl is insane!"
Another barely managed to keep up with what he was seeing.
"One kick. One elimination?"
"Are you seeing this?"
"She’s not even using any complicated technique!"
The room quickly became noisy.
People started recording frantically.
Every movement.
Every elimination.
Every detail they could capture.
The information was being compiled and sent toward the higher-ups of various institutions.
They couldn’t afford to miss something like this.
On the main screen, Selena stood among the chaos.
Her beautiful figure looked almost completely out of place in such a brutal battlefield.
She didn’t look particularly concerned.
In fact, she seemed almost relaxed.
Then another opponent rushed toward her.
Selena turned.
Her leg snapped out.
Boom!
The opponent was launched straight off the stage.
Another came from the side.
Another kick.
Another elimination.
Then another.
And another.
More than a dozen opponents had already been kicked from the stage.
All of them had suffered the same fate.
They never managed to stop her.
They couldn’t even slow her down.
Selena was like an unstoppable force moving through the battlefield.
The more people tried to surround her, the worse it became.
She simply broke through them.
The observers could only stare.
"How is she doing this with physical strength alone?"
"That speed..."
"That explosive power..."
"Who exactly is Leon?"
Nobody in the room had a good answer.
Meanwhile, two people were watching the same scene with completely different emotions.
Principal Lawrence and Principal Douglas sat side by side.
Both were staring at the screen.
Neither spoke for several seconds.
Lawrence’s eyes were wide.
Then slowly, a smile spread across his face.
He looked almost ridiculously pleased.
Leon’s beast-girl was actually this strong?
He had known Leon was unusual.
But this...
This was beyond what he had expected.
"See?" Lawrence finally said, unable to hide his satisfaction. "I told you."
Douglas didn’t respond.
Lawrence’s smile grew wider.
"Leon really is a hidden genius."
He leaned back in his chair.
"To be able to contract such a powerful beast-girl..."
There was genuine pride in his voice.
Douglas, however, was experiencing an entirely different kind of emotional journey.
His expression changed several times within a few seconds.
Shock.
Disbelief.
Regret.
Then a growing sense of helplessness.
He had only been teasing Lawrence earlier.
That was all.
He had wanted to get under the old man’s skin.
A little provocation.
A little bragging.
Nothing serious.
He certainly hadn’t expected his own words to come back and hit him this hard.
Douglas stared at the screen.
Selena kicked another opponent away.
His eyelid twitched.
Another one went flying.
His mouth tightened.
Then another.
Douglas slowly leaned forward.
His eyes widened further.
He wanted to remember every single detail.
Selena’s speed.
Her movements.
Her terrifying physical strength.
The way her opponents couldn’t even react before being sent flying.
A cold shiver ran down his spine.
This wasn’t normal.
That beast-girl was far too strong.
And Leon...
Douglas suddenly felt a headache coming on.
He cursed inwardly.
This Leon...
He really was hiding his true strength!
My big mouth...
Why did I have to be so accurate?!
He remembered what he had said earlier.
He had mocked Lawrence.
He had joked about Leon.
He had acted as though there was no way the boy could possibly accomplish anything that defied common sense.
And now?
Selena was tearing through the placement match as if the entire arena had been built for her.
Douglas silently wanted to slap himself.
Why did I have to say those words?
Why?!
He glanced toward Lawrence.
That was when things became even worse.
Lawrence was practically glowing.
There was a smug, triumphant smile on his face.
He didn’t even need to say anything.
His expression said enough.
No. 1 High was going to get an outstanding result from this placement match.
There was no doubt about it.
And No. 2 High?
Douglas could already see his own school’s ranking slipping further behind.
His expression darkened.
He couldn’t help looking at Lawrence again.
That smug bastard...
Lawrence noticed his gaze.
His smile became even more pronounced.
Douglas’s mouth twitched.
He could already imagine Lawrence bringing this up for the next several years.
Then, finally, Lawrence spoke.
"Hmph."
He folded his arms.
"Weren’t you the one saying, ’If he defies logic, then I’m a god’?"
Douglas’s face stiffened.
Lawrence’s smile turned downright malicious.
"Now that Leon’s this strong, you’ve changed your tune?"
He paused deliberately.
Then raised an eyebrow.
"’God Principal’?"
Principal Lawrence coughed violently, embarrassed.
He had just been so certain that Leon was a failure.
Terrified that he would drag Evelyn down.
Who knew Selena would be this devastating?
Evelyn hadn’t even lifted a finger.
And Leon had already swept the arena!
