Nova chuckled. "Interesting. What makes you believe I am the one who can help you?" she asked.

Sonnie clenched her fists together. "I... I don’t know... I just feel like you are the only person who can save me and my sister. Please help us," she begged, crying.

Nova wasn’t at all moved by her tears. Her smile widened, and she took another sip of her coffee. "Anah," she called inwardly.

"She’s telling the truth anyway, and her threat level has dropped to zero. You can go ahead," Anah replied.

"No... no... no, she didn’t pose any threat to me from the beginning. I’m just saying, someone misses me so much and wants to see me badly," she thought.

"You are not dumb, I see. You realize the scar is the perfect invitation," Anah replied.

"Well then... let’s have some fun." Nova’s smile widened as she stared at Sonnie. "Lead me there," she said, and stood up. Her gaze fell on the vase sitting on the window ledge beside them.

"You prepare me a huge feast before I reach there," she said to the vase and left.

Sonnie stared at the vase in confusion, then immediately ran after Nova.

Meanwhile, perfectly hidden inside the flowers in the vase was a miniature camera, which could not be noticed unless the vase was broken.

..... A very huge mansion .....

Prince was sitting in the footage room, watching the entire scene with a gentle, obsessive smile on his lips. Behind him was a lady with a shocked expression on her face. The air in the dark room was cold and dangerously still.

"Boss, the camera was hidden perfectly. She... she shouldn’t have noticed it," the lady commented, terrified.

Prince’s smile widened. "Prepare the feast. My love is coming," he ordered.

"Boss, she... she’s coming here to free Sonnie’s sister, this..." the lady said with concern, but Prince cut her off.

"Do you think I care about those lowly girls? Get lost." His voice turned cold, carrying a dangerous edge that froze the room.

"Yes, boss," the lady bowed and left.

"Nova... just forget Cassian and Raymond. You can only be mine." Prince’s smile widened as he raised Nova’s picture, staring at it with a dark, unyielding obsession on his lips.

..... Prince’s mansion .....

Sonnie, hiding behind Nova, immediately held Nova’s hand, noticing that the entire mansion was strangely, terrifyingly quiet. It was the kind of dead silence that promised an ambush.

"Young... young madam, the... the mansion is too silent. How... how about we go back?" she stuttered.

Nova stared at Sonnie’s hand, which was gripping hers tightly. "I’m not into girls," she commented, her calm gaze shifting up to Sonnie’s panicked eyes.

Sonnie immediately released Nova’s hand. "I... I’m sorry," she repeated several times.

"Welcome, young miss!" a voice echoed through the eerie silence as the grand doors were opened, revealing a middle-aged man who seemed to be the house butler. Seeing Nova, he immediately lowered his gaze, bowing respectfully.

"You addressed me wrong... I’m not a young miss, I’m married," Nova commented, her voice carrying a hint of cold annoyance.

"Huh?" The butler was surprised but didn’t dare raise his head. "My apologies, Young Mrs.," he corrected himself. "Please follow me, the young master has been waiting for you," he said.

Nova nodded and entered while the butler calmly led them into the massive dining room.

Sitting on the main chair at the head of the long table was Prince. The table was filled with a luxurious, fresh feast. Standing guard beside him was a short, brown-haired lady. The tension in the dining room was instantly palpable—a thick, invisible pressure that threatened to crush the air out of anyone’s lungs.

Nova boldly glanced at Prince, then her gaze fell on the extravagant food on the table. "Not bad," she murmured, taking a seat without making a single sound. She picked up an apple, taking a crisp, relaxed bite as if she were in her own home.

Sonnie was stunned. "This..." She stared at Prince, who was only staring fixedly at Nova with a warm, predatory smile on his lips. "I’m afraid it’s only the young madam who can walk into the enemy’s lair and start eating," she thought, not daring to lower her guard for even a second.

"Is the apple to your liking, my Princess?" Prince asked gently.

Nova stared at him and smirked, taking a bowl and serving herself the chicken soup. "I’m not here to be your princess... I’m here for Sonnie’s sister," she said, casually drinking the soup, her attention now fully on her food.

Prince clenched his fist tightly beneath the table, noticing the stark difference in Nova’s usually clear voice. His sharp gaze locked onto the fading hickeys on Nova’s pale neck. A wave of violent, suffocating jealousy washed over him, and he forced a calm smile onto his face, realizing exactly why her voice sounded so raspy and exhausted. The air in the room grew instantly heavier.

Leaning back against his chair, he spoke. "Sure, I can release her sister. But my princess, I spent so much effort to invite you here. Shouldn’t you keep me company for a few more days?" he asked.

"You are inviting my husbands indirectly. Trust me, Cassian will directly break down this mansion before the others even act," Nova commented calmly, continuing to sip the soup completely unfazed by the hostile territory.

Prince laughed lightly. "True... but... I can make it possible for them not to find us," he replied.

Nova finally stopped eating and stared right at Prince. Her mocking smile didn’t disappear at all. "As long as I’m alive and conscious, my husbands will always find me. Also, aren’t you being too confident, Mr. Prince? You seem to be very confident you can win me over," she stated.

Prince’s smile widened. "I noticed my princess is very obsessed with pretty men. I don’t fall short in that aspect. You seem to like powerful ones as well, and I fit perfectly too. I don’t think you could be dissatisfied with me," he replied.

Nova chuckled, taking another spoonful of the soup. "Yeah... I might be obsessed with handsome men and powerful men, but it seems you didn’t get the complete information about me. I am obsessed with approaching my men myself, not them throwing themselves at me," she replied.

"You not only throw yourself at me, but you also want to have me for yourself alone. That’s... boring," she added, her voice extremely calm and dismissive as she continued eating.

Sonnie was completely dumbfounded. "What’s going on here?" she thought, staring back and forth between Prince and Nova. The psychological tension between the two was so thick it felt like sitting between two drawn guns.

The brown-haired lady beside Prince stared at Nova, equally stunned. "No one has ever spoken to the boss like this before. No one even dares to! Yet this lady is just speaking freely, and the boss isn’t angry!" she screamed inwardly.

Prince smiled softly, though his eyes burned with an intense, possessive darkness. "Seems like I indeed missed that important information," he commented. "But... I will still be shameless. I just want you for myself alone," he said in a firm, solid voice, the heavy declaration completely freezing the atmosphere in the room.
