Nova shook her head and put down her bowl. The heavy, suffocating tension in the room thickened as she stared right at him, completely unbothered by his aura. "It seems you will have to live in your fantasy longer," she said. "Where’s Sonnie’s sister?" she questioned.

Prince chuckled and gestured with his hand. The brown-haired lady, seeing the signal, bowed and left. Shortly after, she arrived with two men dragging an unconscious lady inside.

"Sister!" Sonnie shouted and immediately rushed to her, holding her against her chest. She only breathed out a heavy sigh of relief when she confirmed she was still breathing.

Nova stared at the unconscious lady, her brows knitted slightly. "She’s crippled," she said, her icy gaze locking onto Prince.

Prince immediately raised both his hands, the dark atmosphere shifting as he quickly defended himself. "It wasn’t my doing. She was crippled before she was captured," he explained.

"Okay, I’m done here." Nova stood up. Her gaze fell on the huge roasted chicken, and without hesitation, she picked it up along with the plate. "Don’t invite me to your house again. There are very few things that catch my attention," she added.

She was about to leave, but the room instantly plunged into a deadly, hair-trigger tension as she was suddenly surrounded by several men with their guns pointed directly at her.

"Young madam!" Sonnie shouted in panic, immediately drawing out her gun as well.

Nova smirked and tore off a part of the chicken, calmly putting it into her mouth. The hostility in the room was palpable, yet she remained entirely unfazed. "I’m surprisingly in a good mood. Having a little blood to change the color of my cloth will make my day even better," she said, her voice chillingly calm.

"Did I ask you to corner her?!" Prince’s angry voice echoed violently through the hall. The men immediately lowered their guns, bowing their heads in fear and parting the way for Nova.

"Hmph, fools," Nova commented out loud and walked away.

Sonnie immediately hoisted her sister onto her back and ran after Nova.

"Boss, she... she left," the brown-haired lady stuttered, staring at Prince in confusion.

Prince sighed, the obsessive, dark tension swirling back into his eyes. "A gentle approach won’t work. Well, I will have to be shameless then. Nova... I’m not leaving you for anyone," he thought.

..... Outside the mansion .....

"Thank you very much, young madam! Thank you," Sonnie bowed gratefully, tears welling up in her eyes.

Nova stared at Sonnie, still holding the plate with the huge roasted chicken. The air between them dropped to a freezing temperature. "Go on your way... I didn’t help you because I’m kind-hearted. I can end your life right now if you piss me off," she said coldly.

"Yes... thank you, young madam," Sonnie bowed once again and immediately ran in the opposite direction.

Nova opened the car door and entered. The driver started the car right away and began driving.

Sitting in the back seat, Nova tore off a chicken thigh with her free hand. Crossing one leg over the other, she took a small bite, enjoying the chicken.

"Do you want some, Anah?" Nova thought, but before she could even finish her statement, the entire chicken vanished along with the plate, leaving Nova completely dumbfounded.

"Sure," Anah replied.

"I said some... not everything," Nova complained, her brows knitting together as she stared at the solitary thigh left in her hand.

"You won’t be able to finish it, just leave it to someone that will help you. I’m doing this out of kindness, it’s not my will. Don’t add greediness to your bad character," Anah said, sounding mocking.

Nova closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. "Very well... very well!" She took another bite of the chicken, calming her anger.

"Are you going back home now?" Anah asked.

"No... I’m going to a low-class clothing store. I need to get convincing clothes," Nova replied.

"I see... what are you up to now?"

Nova smirked, a dark, murderous tension bleeding into the confined space of the car. "The Sunny family has enjoyed good days long enough. It’s time to end them, and of course, I will have to take their lives one by one," she replied, her smile widening.

"They have really offended you."

"That bastard tried to kill my husband. He’s not going scot-free. See how I make his life a living hell." Nova’s dark smile widened.

"Mhm... I love that spirit," Anah chuckled.

Nova stared at the driver. "Take me to a very low-class clothing mall. The worse their brand is, the better," she said to the driver.

"Um... young madam, those types of clothing are located in a local village. You might be disgusted. How about I send you back home first, then I’ll go and get it for you?" the driver carefully offered.

Nova smiled warmly. "It’s fine, just take me there," she said.

"Yes," the driver nodded.

..... T-S Clothing Mall .....

The car rolled to a stop in front of a medium-sized clothing shop. The area was a bit crowded, but a stunned, reverent tension fell over the street, plunging it into absolute silence the moment the luxurious car parked in front of the shop.

All eyes stared fixedly at the car with wide-open eyes. Obviously, they had never seen anything like it before.

Nova stepped out of the car, and everyone’s jaws dropped at the sight of her extreme beauty.

"So beautiful!"

"But she’s wearing so little, won’t she catch a cold?"

"She’s really beautiful... very beautiful!"

"Is she a goddess?"

"Ah... I have never seen someone as beautiful as her before. She looks unreal!"

Everyone started praising Nova’s beauty. Just as she was about to step inside the shop, a little boy dressed in an oversized, stained shirt ran over, holding a large scarf.

"Beautiful goddess! Beautiful goddess!" he called, tugging at Nova’s pants to call for her attention.

The driver noticed the boy and was about to dismiss him, but Nova stopped him. She squatted down to the boy’s height and gently touched his dirty face.

"What’s up, little boy?" Nova asked, her smile widening.

The little boy dropped the scarf around Nova’s neck, using it to cover her exposed collarbones and neck, and adjusted it around her arms as well.

Nova was surprised, staring down at the neat blue scarf. "Hm?"

"Beautiful goddess, your clothes are very small. You will catch a cold. This scarf will protect you, and you won’t catch a cold," the little boy said.

Nova chuckled, gently patting the boy’s hair. She put her hand into her pants pocket, bringing out a beautiful wristwatch, and held the boy’s hand, gently fastening it onto his tiny wrist.

"Since you gave me this scarf, I should give you something in return, right? This will keep you safe every time, just don’t lose it," she said.

The little boy’s eyes widened. "So beautiful," he said. "You’re giving it to me, beautiful goddess?" he asked again.

Nova nodded. "Don’t call me goddess. I’m not a goddess," she said. "You can call me beautiful devil instead," she added, a dark, dangerous smile forming on her lips.

"You are not a devil," the little boy disagreed immediately, not at all scared. "You are a goddess," he said. "I will be calling you beautiful goddess," he chuckled.

"Quite brave. I like it," Nova commented, smiling.

"Wait for me, beautiful goddess, I will be back shortly!" the little boy said, and immediately ran off on his small legs.

Nova stared at the little boy and lightly shook her head, the soft atmosphere instantly vanishing, replaced by a sharp, lethal tension. "Check Edward Sunny’s location for me," Anah, she thought, standing up.

"He’s currently at his family office but will be at the club tonight".

"Perfect." Nova’s smile darkened with the promise of bloodshed, and she walked into the shop.
