Chapter 1552: Fenrir, Where Are You?
Chapter 1552: Fenrir, Where Are You?
Nathan finally met Elysion again. His expression was solemn, wondering what the original Nathan had passed on to him.
Elysion smiled. “It looks like it’s resolved well.”
Nathan didn’t say anything. He was displeased with his action in revealing something that he wasn’t supposed to reveal.
Even if he understood his intention, it wouldn’t change the fact that it was a mistake. Nathan didn’t intend to forgive him for that.
At the same time, it didn’t mean he would hate him to the point where they would need to become enemies.
With the constant threat from the aliens, he needed more allies than enemies.
So, Nathan asked, “Let’s cut to the chase. What do you want?”
Elysion could understand the hostility. He simply lifted up a book. “I want to give this to you.”
“A book?” Nathan frowned.
“Yeah. To be exact, a small portion of his diary.”
“Diary…” Nathan frowned. On the one hand, he was curious about what the original Nathan had experienced. On the other hand, he wondered if reading this diary would actually change his perception and his characters.
He didn’t want to change from Nathan Reckmoon to Nathan. That was why he was being extra careful with the memory he could get.
Still, getting to know more about the original Nathan might allow him to understand everything about his body, especially this enormous karma.
His karma was something much bigger than anyone had ever possessed. Even Xolotl and Garuda agreed that they had never seen anyone that had at least 10% of Nathan’s karma.
Even the kindest gods they knew hadn’t reached this point.
How many times did he save the world for him to get all this karma?
That question could only be answered if he received this diary.
Elysion added, “I will only tell you this one thing. Even though this is a diary, you may not find a lot of details. It’s not written from the very beginning. Instead, it’s written at the very end when you start forgetting every little thing you have experienced.”
“…” Nathan furrowed his eyebrows. That was indeed horrible. The amount of information contained in this diary would be severely restricted.
However, this might be to his advantage. Without much information, there was no need for Nathan to worry that he would become a different person.
After some consideration, Nathan finally took the diary and put it in his space ring first.
“Now that I’ve passed it down to you, the karma ends here.” Elysion Aquamoon nodded, satisfied with the conclusion. “I know you have a lot of questions, but you should be able to get the answer to most of your questions from that book. So, you should take a read at least once and burn it completely.
“He wishes to rest and disappear until there is nothing about him remaining. So, I hope you can honor that wish. In exchange, I will owe you a favor.”
Nathan closed his eyes. He didn’t know why the original Nathan wanted to disappear, but he knew Elysion wouldn’t joke about this matter.
“I will consider it.” Nathan nodded.
“Since the matter is over, there is something I would like to request.” Elysion raised one finger.
“A request?”
“Yes. It’s a very small request.” Elysion smiled playfully. “Can you summon your familiars?”
Nathan furrowed his eyebrows. He didn’t know his intention, but summoning his familiars shouldn’t be a problem. “I can’t summon a few familiars, or else this place will be destroyed by their size alone.”
“That’s fine. Just summon whoever you can summon.” Elysion nodded.
Nathan first looked at Luna and Evelyn.
Luna and Evelyn didn’t feel anything that could indicate there was a trap here. Even so, Nathan pointed to the side. “How about we do this outside? I can summon them as well.”
Elysion understood his wariness. He had revealed his secret without permission, so there was no telling whether Elysion had prepared another thing for him.
So, Elysion agreed. “Sure. Let’s go outside.”
Evelyn snapped her fingers, including Elysion in her teleportation.
Once they were outside, Nathan summoned everyone except Fenrir.
Kun opened the sky with his own body, while the others were ready to fight, wondering who their enemy was.
Seeing Luna and Evelyn were there without using their powers, it looked like there was no fight.
“So, those are the divine beasts…” Elysion muttered. He summoned four familiars, which turned out to be gods related to death.
The first one was none other than Fenrir’s sister, Goddess Hela. She was known as the goddess of the dead, ruling over Helheim.
Her beauty was comparable to Evelyn and Luna, but with enough power, they realized that half of her body was clad in illusion to hide the rotten part of her body.
The second one was the judge of the dead, King Yama. He had red skin, thick black hair, and a hairy black beard. He was wearing official clothes like a judge in an official court.
He was brimming with an aura of righteousness and a strict atmosphere.
The third familiar was someone Anubis knew a lot about. In a way, he was similar to Osiris, but the way they used their power was different from each other.
Anubis and Osiris immediately locked onto each other’s gaze. Although they knew each other, Anubis intended to fight even against him if Elysion chose to become Nathan’s enemy.
Last but not least, the God of Death from Greek mythology, Thanatos. It looked like he was right in not calling Thanatos for Noelle.
Thanatos might wield a sword, but if he summoned him, Noelle might end up summoning someone else since Thanatos had arrived in this world.
He looked like a human with a gentle expression. After all, he represented gentle, natural death, unlike his sister, Keres, who embodied violent death.
The silence was actually broken by a familiar from Elysion’s side. It was none other than Hela.
Hela rushed to Nathan while looking around as if she was searching for someone. “Wait. What’s going on? Fenrir… Where are you, my brother?”
