Chapter 1551: Scale
Chapter 1551: Scale
“So, the divine beasts come from your world?” Evelyn crossed her arms and lowered her head, pondering.
“Yeah. There are a lot of familiars from my world as well. It’s not limited to the Pope. However, Rakusha is not.”
“I see. It looks like Rakusha is one of the gods coming from another world.” Luna got a good grasp of the ratio. It looked like Earth was really a planet where a lot of warriors were born.
For them to possess a large number of gods that could fight the aliens was simply too extraordinary.
“According to Garuda and Xolotl, the fight has gone on for a long time. There are several battlefields where the destruction is visible.”
“What is the scale of those battlefields? No, in the first place, what’s the scale of the gods? I mean, their power level.”
Nathan explained from the beginning. He first made several spheres orbiting a single big sphere. “This is called a solar system, my solar system.
“All these small spheres are the planets and the big one is the sun. All the stars you can see in the night sky are the suns in their respective systems.
“Groups of hundreds to millions of stars are called ’Star Clusters,’ and billions of them are called ’Galaxies.’”
“Anything to godhood means you are locked into your own planet. However, once you are able to achieve godhood like Fenrir and the others, you should be able to move around the solar system and nearby solar systems. But not more than that.
“If you have reached the true god level, you should be capable of moving around the star clusters. Even though it’ll take a considerable amount of time, there are other methods, such as the portals.
“This is roughly the scale of their power.”
“That’s terrifying.” Luna had a hard time imagining traveling the world easily. Yet, they were already talking about the stars. “By the way, what’s the distance between this world and the sun?”
“I’m not sure. I don’t even remember the exact distance of my planet to its moon or to its sun. However, from what I remember, the moon itself is quite close, but the distance is probably the distance between the Azilia Kingdom and the Holy Kingdom… times a thousand.”
“Whoa?!” Luna blinked her eyes a few times. “The distance from my world to its sun is probably three hundred to five hundred times that distance. If we are talking about other nearby solar systems, you probably have to multiply it by a few thousand.”
“…” Luna and Evelyn looked at each other. They couldn’t imagine themselves traveling between continents easily, let alone thousands or millions of times that distance.
It looked like the space element was necessary for travel.
“No wonder Yog-Sothoth is important.” Evelyn crossed her arms.
“Well, that’s understandable. Do you remember your black hole?”
“Yes. What about it?” Evelyn asked.
“That is actually real in outer space. We call it a singularity. This black hole possesses so much mass that the gravity around it is many times higher that even the light bends.”
“!!!” Evelyn was shaken. Her black hole was nothing compared to that one. It looked like she had to possess such a thing if she wanted to make any impact on the future battlefields.
“In any case, I think you’ve gotten the rough idea about the power level. The Ancient Ones like Cthulhu should be strong enough to fight against a True God, not to mention the Outer Gods, who are much stronger than them. I may have to consider them the peak of true gods, close to singularity. And the closest one among them is Azathoth, known as the reality itself.”
“How are we going to kill this guy? I mean, if he’s the reality itself, defeating him will destroy our reality, right?” Evelyn asked.
“Yeah. I have some ideas, but I don’t know if they are possible or not. Besides, another Outer God seems to have some sort of plan, which is why he sent Cthulhu and the others here.”
Evelyn and Luna simply couldn’t believe that they were nothing but ants compared to those beings.
They wondered if humans could even fight someone like them. Their only chance was to first become a true god. They didn’t know how long it would take, but that was their only chance.
Cthulhu must have expected this growth to a certain extent, so they might still have a chance to become a true god.
“It looks like we have no choice but to do it.” Luna sighed.
“Yeah.” Evelyn nodded in agreement. “But I now understand why you want us to take the fight to them. If we let them descend to this place, this world will be destroyed.”
“The world was almost destroyed five hundred years ago when Yog-Sothoth almost descended. Fortunately, Yog-Sothoth only created portals all around the world before returning.” Nathan raised one finger.
“Isn’t it weird for such a being to return? It could simply destroy our world easily.”
“He must still retain his consciousness to a certain extent. There is also another theory. The Asura Palace. It might hold some sort of secret regarding what happened five hundred years ago.
“It was the only place that witnessed the portal creation, so hopefully, there were some records that were still intact.”
Evelyn and Luna fully understood why Nathan planned to head to the Asura Palace first.
Crotto could lead them to the portal, but they shouldn’t come without any information.
“Maybe we can enter another world from that portal, one that is not directly linked to the alien world.” Nathan sighed. “For now, there are many uncertainties. All those things I mentioned are nothing but speculation. So, I am going to meet Elysion again and see what he wants.”
“Do you need us to come with you?” Evelyn asked, concerned about his well-being.
“Sure.” Nathan nodded. Since the secret was out, there was no reason to exclude them anymore.
“By the way, what do you plan to do with the secret? We know about it, but how about Selena and the others?”
Nathan pondered for a few seconds. “You can tell them if you want, but unless it’s necessary, I will not talk about it… yet.”
