Chapter 1141: The World of Gigantua - The Nexus Hub
’If I meditate here, my training will go up by several leaps all at once!’
Jason couldn’t believe just how much natural energy was in the air, and for a half-moment, Jason thought about just sitting down and meditating immediately! But Jason knew that they didn’t have time for that, and he just continued following after Vion as she flew through the pathway.
"It’s beautiful, master."
Stella spoke up from beside Jason, and Jason hummed calmly and said it was! Jason then looked over at Valeria when he heard her ask.
"Is this nature energy?"
Valeria turned to Jason curiously, and Jason nodded before saying:
"It’s spirit energy, one of the purest forms of nature energy. I once went to a forest in Arandelle that was filled with this sort of energy, but it was nowhere near as pure as this."
Valeria was still looking around in awe, and Jason couldn’t blame her. Even though Valeria and Stella couldn’t feel nature energy, they were still connected to nature, so there was no way they wouldn’t be able to feel the changes in the air and magic all around them! It was the same way a human could breathe better when they went from living in a smoky city to living in the countryside! Everything just felt better!
"Huhuhu~ so you appreciate our forest. We’ve been crafting it for more than a hundred years now. It’s our crown jewel!"
Vion heard what Stella and Valeria said about the forest, and she felt a sense of pride fill her heart as she began bragging almost immediately! Jason walked a little closer to the fairy and said.
"The forest is amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it."
"Hohohoho~ of course you haven’t!"
Vion exclaimed happily, and Jason spoke up again.
"How can you do something like this? Did you infuse the trees with spirit energy?"
Usually, there was no way a fairy would tell a regular mortal about the secret behind growing a spirit forest, but Vion was so proud of herself at that moment that she couldn’t stop herself from bragging about the forest! Vion huffed pompously before she answered!
"Not at all! It was the seeds. If you take seeds and fill them with spirit energy, then -!"
Vion’s eyes suddenly widened in shock when she realised what she just said, and she turned to the side to see Jason’s innocent face looking back at her! Vion paled in dread, and she coughed into her hand before trying to change the topic!
"Ahem! J-Just forget about all that! Forget I said anything! Come on, let’s get you out of here!"
Vion flew ahead while cursing her loose mouth in her mind, and Jason just smiled internally! So the secret to growing a forest like this was in the seeds you used? That was interesting. Jason knew that having a spirit forest would help him improve his training by a lot, so he was definitely going to look into growing one of them once he got back to Earth! The rest of the trek through the rainbow forest was extremely peaceful, and Vion made sure to stay away from Jason and the others so she wouldn’t say or do anything that exposed even more of their secrets!
By the time they got to the end of the pathway, they had been walking for about thirty minutes, and they had made more than fifty different turns at various intervals! Jason had to admit that if not for the guide showing them the way, there was no way he would’ve made it out of this pathway!
’Well, I could’ve just blown a hole straight through from one side to the other, but that would be a last resort.’
Jason smiled dangerously as this thought crossed his mind, and Vion turned and gave Jason a dirty look! For some reason, Vion had a feeling that Jason had just thought about something sacrilegious! Jason schooled his face into a more innocent look, and Vion narrowed her eyes at him before turning away again! The end of the tunnel that they appeared at was a simple field that looked like it belonged in an entirely different world. There were no grasses or trees growing beyond the tunnel, and it felt like they were crossing over from a lavish garden into an arid wasteland that had never seen rain in its life!
There were some other people appearing from different tunnels to their left and right, and Jason watched as those people simply opened Dimensional Tears and began to move to their desired worlds.
’So there are different paths inside the maze? I guess the path we took is just faster than others, but they all lead to the same destination.’
Jason finally understood what the pathways were like, and he turned as Vion spoke up.
"This is where we part ways. You can open a Dimensional Tear to the Nexus Hub on Gigantua. From there, it’s a direct transport to any of the worlds in the Zeroth Domain. Good luck!"
Vion waved at the three travellers with a wide smile as she began flying back into the pathway, and both Stella and Valeria waved back at her as she vanished. Once she was gone, Jason put his hand out and opened the Dimensional Tear in front of them, and the three of them walked into it and finally began their journey inside the Zeroth Domain.

The first thing Jason noticed once he walked out from the other side of the Dimensional Tear was how much smoke was floating around him. It felt like Jason suddenly walked into the home of a chain smoker, and Jason had to wrinkle his nose slightly as the various different smells of weed, pot, or just plain engine smoke fought for dominance over his sensitive sense of smell! The second thing Jason noticed after the smoke was the environment.
They had walked into a massive train station that looked like it had been pulled straight out of a cyberpunk novel. There were hundreds of different people walking through the train station at a quick pace. Many of them were wearing hoods or masks that covered their faces just like Jason and Stella, but there were many others who were just walking around confidently without a care in the world. Many of the people all around them had one sort of mechanical upgrade or another attached to their body. There was a woman with a mechanical arm and another man who had replaced both his legs with robotic upgrades.
A young man at the side had spider-like legs attached to his back, and there was another man who had eight swords all around his body, and Jason knew that the man had to have extra arms hidden somewhere for him to be able to use all those swords. To Jason’s left were various stores that had flickering lights advertising various things. Some of them were tattoo shops, some of them were robotic augmentation shops, and there was one small restaurant that had two burly-looking bodyguards standing outside protectively. And to Jason’s right side was a train station.
The train looked far more technologically advanced than anything Jason had ever seen, and at the same time it was dirty and messed up in a way that Jason had never expected. There were entire sections of the train that had been replaced by completely different materials, and there were some holes and dirt all around the train. But the train was floating in the air using an electromagnetic form of technology, and Jason could feel that the train ran on pure technology without needing any magic at all.
