Chapter 1104: Is This Real?

  • Next Chapter

Agiel had never felt as nervous as she did in that moment! Although Agiel and Gina had met each other many times in the past, Agiel had never been very fond of Gina. Agiel always saw Gina as someone standing between her and Jason, and Agiel wouldn’t deny that she wanted to end Jason’s relationship with Gina many times! But now that Agiel had actually formed the Soul Bond with Jason, Agiel knew that she had been wrong! Gina took up a place in Jason’s heart that nothing could replace.

Even if Agiel was Jason’s Soul Mate, there was just something different about Jason and Gina’s relationship, and if there was one person who had the key to Jason’s heart, then it was undoubtedly Gina! At that moment, Gina looked calm on the outside, but Agiel knew that this moment would make or break Agiel’s relationship with Jason.

And so, Agiel told Gina everything. Agiel spoke about how she had been trying to get Jason to accept their bond for a while, and also about how she had eventually left Earth when Jason refused her on many occasions. Agiel then spoke about her deal with the previous King of Jadar, and how she was trying to free her people by getting married to him. Gina listened to all of this without interrupting at all, and it wasn’t until Agiel spoke about how Jason entered Agiel’s mindscape that Gina asked what that was. Agiel explained her mindscape as well as she could, and Gina finally realised that it was like Jason’s Alternate Dimension, except this one was inside Agiel’s mind.

"So that was where you formed the Soul Bond with Jason?"

Agiel nodded and said Gina was right. Agiel spoke about how they formed the bond, and Gina couldn’t help but notice how Agiel’s face brightened happily as she spoke about this part. Gina had always known Agiel to be an unagreeable, strong-headed person, so seeing her act so giddy about forming a Soul Bond told Gina that this was really important to Agiel!

After this, Agiel then told Gina about the power that awakened as a result of the Soul Bond and how that power helped them to go into the Celestial Cloud, meet the Celestial of Death, and convince him to turn around. This was where the story ended, and Gina just sat with that story for a while and digested it. Gina always knew that Agiel had been targeting Jason, but Gina could never imagine that this would be the result of that bond. On one hand, Gina was glad that Jason was able to stop the Celestial of Death thanks to this bond, but on the other hand, Gina needed to know what Agiel planned to do now.

Gina finally turned to Agiel and asked:

"So what are you going to do now? Are you going to try and take Jason away from the rest of us?"

Agiel felt the tension in the room rising as Gina asked this, and Agiel immediately said that this wasn’t the case! Agiel knew that it would be foolish to even try and force Jason to be with her alone, so Agiel wasn’t going to do that. Agiel sighed as she crossed her legs on the bed and scratched the back of her head tiredly. Now that Agiel was gaining back her energy, she was slowly starting to act like her usual self again. Agiel spoke up calmly:

"I... I know that Jason’s heart isn’t mine alone. In fact, right now, I don’t know if it’s mine at all. Jason was really against this bond. He believes that a bond formed by some external force isn’t something real –"

"And what about you? Do you think it’s real?"

Agiel’s face turned serious when Gina asked this, and Agiel nodded immediately!

"Yes, I know it’s real. These feelings aren’t just some external manipulation. For me, this is everything I want. I want to be with Jason, and I want him to accept me, but I won’t try to force myself on him without taking his feelings into account as well. So, I just wanted to... I just wanted to ask for your permission."

Gina raised a brow when Agiel said this, and Agiel’s cheeks reddened slightly as she joined her hands together between her legs. Agiel stared down at the bed for a moment before looking up at Gina as she continued talking.

"Look, I know we haven’t seen eye to eye before, but I’m willing to do anything to make this work. I want Jason to fall in love with me, but he won’t even hold me because he doesn’t want to hurt you girls. I don’t want to come between your relationship with him, and I don’t want to hurt anyone. I just... I just want a chance to make him love me like I love him."

Gina let out a small sigh when she was done listening. Gina knew she had already been through this many times before, so it was easy for Gina to see that Agiel was telling the truth here. Agiel really loved Jason, and Gina knew that the two of them had a connection that went deeper than something physical. Gina also had a connection with Jason, so Gina could tell that Agiel had become someone really important to Jason in the last few days.

In truth, Gina didn’t have any problem welcoming Agiel into their relationship. The only reason Gina had been so against Agiel in the past was because Gina knew that Agiel was trying to steal Jason away from her, and Gina was not going to accept that. But now that Agiel was asking to join, Gina felt like it might be okay.

This world was becoming more and more dangerous, and Gina knew that they would need more people they could trust in their family. Agiel would never betray Jason no matter what, and she would put her life on the line to protect Jason and this family. Gina would be a lot happier knowing that someone like Agiel was also looking out for the man she loved! Gina finally let out a low sigh, and she stood from the chair and moved closer to the bed. Gina sat on the edge, just beside Agiel, and she opened her arms towards Agiel with a small smile.

Agiel’s eyes widened in shock when she saw this, and she felt a surge of excitement go through her body as she immediately dived into Gina’s arms! Agiel hugged Gina like she had just been given another chance at life, and she muttered quiet ’thank yous’ over and over again! Gina patted Agiel on the back, and she pulled back kindly and ran her hand over Agiel’s cheek.

"It’s okay. I understand everything, and I’m willing to accept you. But before I make a decision, I need to talk to Jason about all this first. I don’t know what will happen after, but if things work out, I need you to promise me you’ll never hurt him. I can forgive many things, but I won’t forgive you for hurting him. Do you understand?"

Agiel nodded seriously while wiping the few tears from her cheek! Gina didn’t have to worry about her hurting Jason ever! Agiel had already formed a bond with Jason, so Agiel was willing to do anything just to make Jason happy. Gina smiled at this, and she brought Agiel in for another hug.

"B-But what about the other girls? Do you think they’ll be okay with it too?"

Agiel had asked this after she and Gina separated, and Gina just waved Agiel’s concerns away. Gina had spoken to Hesabeth and Riyala earlier before they both left for their worlds, and they had given Gina simple answers when she brought up the topic of Agiel joining their relationship.
