Chapter 2316: Chapter 2316: Silver Dragon and Blue Dragon

The "Light Chaser" was unable to resist the pull of gravity in the air, so he waved his hand and released a burst of white light. Those beams formed arrows in the air, directly pointing to the positions of the two witches underground.

But just when the light thrown by the "Light Chaser" annihilated the earth, melting out another deep pit in the street, Miss Belindel who had distorted the effect of the "Guidance Spell" jumped down from the rooftop behind him.

[Angel’s Right Arm] again formed the angel’s phantom behind her, yet the "Light Chaser" did not resist but transformed into a light once more, moving to the rooftop of another three-story apartment building facing the street.

Thus, Ms. Benanis arrived with the non-flying Miss Belindel on the rooftop of another apartment across the street. With a soft thud~, Miss Sylvia also appeared out of thin air, holding Miss Aphrola’s hand.

"There’s a ’Blue Dragon’ up above."

Miss Aphrola whispered, while the golden-haired Countess reminded:

"It seems something major is happening outside. I’m not clear whether we have stopped the Light Chaser or he has stopped us. Solve the problem quickly, we can’t delay."

"Alright, sisters, let’s use that trick."

Since the start of the battle, the golden steps extended completely for the first time. The golden steps pierced through the center of everyone’s Ring of Fate, staining the brass ring with a layer of golden brilliance.

The witches’ powers resonated with each other, with ancient runes representing "Earth," "Fate," "Space," and "Brightness" appearing behind each person. The power of the four gathered onto Miss Aphrola standing at the forefront. A power exceeding what can be used even with more than three Council Archwitches present was used for the first time in Moon Bay City, making the "Light Chaser" across the street serious.

The five of them flew into the sky along with the stairs of the two buildings, amidst the sharp explosions carried by the howling wind. With her whole body emitting golden glimmer like the goddess coming to the world, Miss Aphrola pointed at the Light Chaser:

"Feliana’s Witch Light!"

"Destructive Death!"

The golden witch light collided head-on with the pitch-black light beam fully unleashed by the Light Chaser in the sky, as if glowing rivers clashed beneath the night sky, causing even space to twist. The resonating spirits and elements made the surrounding Circle Sorcerers flee to the distance.

"Seeing this secret technique again... but compared to the Fifth Era, its power is significantly weaker."

Remarked the Dragon Lady as she lightly spoke, with a giant cruise ship’s phantom appearing above her head. As the meteor clashed with the ship, it could only stir up a ripple.

The bombardment and mutual annihilation of energy lasted for a while before ceasing, yet the colors of the two differently-colored "rivers of light" in the night sky lingered in the air for a long time without dispersing.

The witches all fell back to the rooftop, with the strongest Miss Aphrola even more convinced that it was not them obstructing the Light Chaser but rather him blocking them.

However, the state of the Thirteen-Ring Sorcerer was even worse now; he could endure an attack from a single witch, but faced with a combined strike containing Ancient God Power, although he was definitely not defeated, he was a bit exhausted.

At this point, the battle was in a complete stalemate, and it seemed that no victory or defeat could be determined soon.

Yet, just as the "Light Chaser" was also attempting to fall back to the rooftop to regain his condition, behind him in the night sky, the illusion technique of the red butterflies withdrew, and a huge glowing silver dragon claw suddenly clenched him in its palm.

"What?"

The unprepared "Light Chaser" immediately turned into a beam of light flying out from the dragon’s claw, but then the blue dragon’s tail suddenly lashed down from high above, drawing the "Light Chaser" towards the ground with a loud crash and sonic boom.

Seconds later, within the engulfing dust, the man spat out blood as he flew out of the deep pit, looking upward at the silver and blue great dragons staring at him together.

The dragons transformed by both individuals were different from normal dragons; the silver great dragon’s glowing scales under the moonlight need not be mentioned, but the blue dragon’s body was evidently at least twice as large as an ordinary blue dragon.

Of course, it was still smaller compared to Shard’s transformed silver dragon.

Shard chose to transform into a dragon upon entering this area because he knew that in his normal state, he could not influence the battle among the High Rings. Attacking with the guise of a dragon while the "Light Chaser" was yet to recover was key to his ability to impact the situation maximally.

"A God Summoner, huh? It sure seems flattering to me, but how will I know it’s not a trick unless I try?"

Faced with the two great dragons, the "Light Chaser" had no intention of dodging. Upon ascending to the same height as the two dragons, the light accumulated in his hands once again.

Thus the silver dragon and the blue dragon simultaneously began to breathe and accumulate power, with silver brilliance and crimson flames gathering in the mouths of both dragons.

Three seconds later, amid the earth-shattering Dragon Roar once again shattering countless pieces of glass, moonlight and flames entwined as they rushed towards the airborne "Light Chaser".

Below, the witches were also watching this scene together. They expected another collision between spirits and elements, but the breath of the Silver Dragon and Blue Dragon passed straight through the "Light Chaser", and with a crackling sound, shattered the Illusion Technique barrier over the nearby street districts. The two beams of light then intertwined, flying toward further west.

The disappearance of the illusion barrier constructed by Relics finally exposed the chaotic night in Moon Bay City to the Grand Witches.

Except for Miss Belindel, who was stunned looking at her city, the others still looked towards the night sky where the "Light Chaser" vanished like foam:

"An illusion? He ran away?"

"Yes, he ran away."

Miss Aphrola nodded, watching Shard and Miss Eles fear that ordinary people would be frightened, thus using illusion to hide themselves again and flying towards the direction of the South City Dock:

"This is what he’s transformed into, a dragon. It’s truly beautiful... Let’s go then, sisters, the docks still seem to need us."

After saying this, she looked towards the nearby street districts:

"Bella, you can’t fly, stay here and command the rescue."

"But does the rescue really need me?"

The Countess naturally didn’t want to be left behind by other witches, but indeed she couldn’t fly. Fortunately, with a soft "Ahn~", the Little Unicorn dropped down beside them from high above, its innocent blue eyes looking at the witches, then nuzzled Miss Belindel.

The intelligence of unicorns is similar to dragons, certainly not below ordinary humans. It knows where the delicious food and baskets of fresh fruit have come from in recent weeks, so it’s willing to let the Countess ride it.

Under the watchful eyes of her three colleagues, a desperately suppressing her laughter Bella Belindel side-saddled onto the back of the Little Unicorn. She gently stroked its silky luminous mane and said: 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

"Now I can fly. Let’s go, let other young ladies handle the disaster relief here."

Saying this, she waved the cross sword in her hand. The other three women didn’t want to see her expression at the moment, so they took to the skies first. The Little Unicorn gently cried again, ran a few steps on the rooftop, and spread its wings to follow them.

Behind the trajectory of the witches, the light bullet Miss Aphrola threw exploded into fireworks in the sky. The instructed witch followers, some continued to round up the remaining members of the "Light Worshipper Training Association", while others turned to extinguish nearby fires and rescue citizens.

From a higher vantage point, looking at the turbulent city, more smoke was wafting into the sky. The city deemed doomed in the Great Prophecy is now experiencing its first comprehensive turmoil. And regardless of whether people are prepared, what’s destined to come will surely arrive.

Though Miss Aphrola and the others departed half a minute later than the two dragons, they almost arrived at Moon Bay Harbor alongside them.

Compared to the relatively densely populated east of the city where fighting was restricted, there were far fewer concerns for the Circle Sorcerers battling on the dock and sea surface.

In the sky, there were dragons, dragon knights, High Ring Dragonborn Vampires sparring with Church Ring Sorcerers. On the sea surface, the church’s vessels were engaging in fire with numerous undead construct ships, even the beaches saw hordes of water ghosts and floating corpses trying to advance toward the city.

Most of the Circle Sorcerers from the Church of the Five Gods of Moon Bay Parish were dispatched here for battle, and when Shard flew into this area, he immediately sensed the unique power fluctuation of Iluna assessing his faction. Subsequently, the force of "Balance" encompassed him into the entire field.

"Is the coverage range of Iluna’s Balance domain growing larger and larger?"

Upon seeing the two dragons flying in from the city zone, the church initially thought they were support from the [Dragon Feast Cult], but soon recognized the familiar glowing silver dragon, realizing it came to aid them.

Earlier, Shard heard there were over thirty dragons at the north of the city, but it was actually four Thirteen-Ring Sorcerers facing the entanglement of close to a hundred dragons.

Besides the vessels and corpses afloat on the sea, that Dragon Feast sacrificial ground eerily hovered, with a constant stream of Half-Blood Dragon Beasts and dragon stone statues flying out from its center. The church’s attempts to destroy that sacrificial ground were all thwarted by the transparent shield surrounding it.

[Dragon Feast Cult]’s attack on Moon Bay Harbor wasn’t a sudden decision. Apart from the dragons, three Twelve-Ring Dragonborn Dragon Knights engaging the Thirteen Rings were the key to why the Thirteen Rings hadn’t been able to eliminate the dragon groups even after an hour of combat.

The professors of the Academy investigating the Angel-Level Relic outside the city haven’t returned yet, the great fire in the north of the city constrained other rescue forces, the church in the city faced an influx of refugees and other chaos leading to issues with the command system, while the skirmish above Belindel Big Bell was the confrontation between the High Priests of Dragon Feast Cult and the church’s guardian forces.

Standing at the docks holding a dark golden balance and gazing at the sea of fire, Iluna truly felt strange. It wasn’t that this sudden battle felt odd, but Moon Bay Parish itself was peculiar.
