Chapter 820: Chapter 817 Expanding Once More

In the afternoon, on the Sahara outside the southeastern borders of the Siacan Kingdom, Perry and Sally were training knights in preparation for their upcoming pasture expansion.

Yes, the lion-eared maiden was ready to continue expanding her pastures.

This was simply because there wasn’t much pasture grass left in the surrounding areas. Coupled with Perry ramping up breeding operations, the total number of cattle, sheep, and horses had now surpassed 150,000. The amount of pasture grass they consumed every day was an astronomical figure.

If this continued, the pasture grass within her own tribe’s territory would soon fall short of supply. Therefore, Perry made up her mind to strike at other tribes and annex them, conveniently taking over their pastures as well.

Ever since acquiring those 1,800 spears, Perry had been training her knights specifically in preparation for this pasture expansion.

More than a month had passed, and the knights were just about fully trained. It was time to make a move.

"Alright, fall in! Rest well for the remainder of the time and gather your energy. Tomorrow, you ride into battle with me!" Perry’s eyes flashed with a light, her face brimming with majesty.

"Yes, ma’am!" All the beastkin knights responded respectfully.

The beastkin knights dismounted and led their respective warhorses away to rest, preparing to adjust to their peak condition tonight for tomorrow’s great battle.

However, they weren’t particularly worried because on their side was Princess Perry, known as the Goddess of War—victorious in every battle.

"Your Highness, do you think Bolt will agree to our proposal?" Sally asked, looking at Perry.

Bolt was the chieftain of another large tribe bordering Perry’s tribe, ranking in the top ten across the entire Sahara.

The main point was that the pastures Bolt occupied were much larger than Perry’s current ones. This was precisely why Perry had targeted him.

The ’proposal’ Sally mentioned was, in fact, Perry annexing the other party’s tribe. The two sides would cooperate with Perry as the leader. They wouldn’t have to worry about food or sales issues, but the prerequisite was that the other side didn’t resist.

"Does it matter whether he agrees or not?" Perry said nonchalantly. Her so-called proposal was nothing more than a polite preliminary greeting.

"Hehe... I suppose it doesn’t matter. It will just take a bit more effort," Sally giggled.

They had been gathering intelligence for a long time. Bolt’s tribe had three thousand knights under their command, but their weapons consisted of wooden clubs and sheep bones; only a few hundred possessed iron spears.

Comparing this to Perry’s forces: she also had over three thousand knights, but more than 1,800 of them were equipped with steel spears from Sedona City, not to mention the original few hundred fully-armed beastkin knights. Bolt’s tribe stood absolutely no chance against them.

If it were compared to the past, Perry would still have been a notch below Bolt’s tribe. But who told her to team up with Sedona City?

"The necessary negotiations have been made. Now, we use iron and blood to conquer them," Perry said in a deep voice.

"Yes." Sally nodded in deep agreement. Whether they could expand their pastures directly affected the yield of cattle and sheep, which indirectly impacted their income.

She looked up at the sky, patted her flat stomach, and suddenly said, "Your Highness, I’m suddenly craving pizza. And steamed buns, noodles, barbecue..."

"Cough, cough... Now I’m craving them too," Perry secretly swallowed a mouthful of saliva. The delicious foods she had seen in Sedona City—steamed buns, pizza, noodles—drifted through her mind.

"Your Highness, why can’t we have a pizza shop?" Sally asked in distress.

"Because it’s unrealistic," Perry’s mouth twitched.

Opening a pizza shop here? How long would it last? With the beastkin’s appetites, just sourcing the ingredients would be a major problem, let alone lacking the recipe.

"Oh..." Sally’s face drooped. Going back to the tribe to eat mutton every single day, she had been missing Sedona City’s cuisine for a very long time.

Her mind suddenly jumped to another topic as she muttered, "I wonder if Sun Wukong successfully protected Tang Seng and retrieved the true scriptures yet?"

"...I want to know too." Perry swished her lion tail, feeling very conflicted inside. Ever since watching that shadow puppetry show, they had been completely captivated by the plot.

The plot and worldview of Journey to the West were simply too unimaginable. It was a genre they had never encountered before, hence their obsession.

"Your Highness..." Sally was just about to ask when they could visit Sedona City again, but was interrupted before she could finish.

"No," Perry rolled her eyes and said firmly.

"Steamed buns, noodles, pizza..." Sally refused to give up.

"..."

"Shadow puppetry, Drunken Night..."

"..."

Looking at Sally’s expectant gaze, Perry speechlessly rested her forehead on her hand, her eye twitching.

"When we send people to deliver mutton to Sedona City, have them buy more canned food and things like that to bring back," Perry said helplessly. She really had no counter to this foodie.

Alternatively, she was also just finding an excuse to have a good meal herself.

"Okay, Your Highness!" Sally was incredibly happy.

The canned food they had bought during their last trip to Sedona City had long been polished off. After all, with the beastkin’s appetites, it really couldn’t last long.

"Has that Greena made any moves?" Perry suddenly remembered something and asked in a deep voice.

"They sent someone over with a letter yesterday, wanting to exchange for warhorses. But as per Your Highness’s instructions, we completely rejected them," Sally’s face showed disdain.

Remembering the conditions the other party had proposed, she wished she could drown them in a single spit.

"That’s good," Perry nodded. "Anything else?"

"Also, a while ago, a large group of pirates moved into Yalin City. It seems they’re there to help fight against the new King of the Siacan Kingdom," Sally stated.

"To actually seek help from pirates... This Greena really is... I suppose he’s hit a dead end," Perry’s lips curved in a mocking smile.

"Should we mention this to Lord Lucas?" Sally inquired.

"No need. With his capabilities, he probably knew about it a long time ago." Perry didn’t know why, but she was simply that absolutely convinced.

"Mhm." Sally nodded. She admired Lucas quite a lot now, especially for being able to create all those delicious foods.

"Who does Your Highness think has the higher chance of winning?" Sally was very curious to know who had better odds from the perspective of the Goddess of War.

"Who has the higher chance of winning? Probably Lucas." Perry’s lips curled up, a thoughtful gleam flashing through her eyes.

"Eh, eh, eh?? Lord Lucas?" Sally’s eyes went wide with a look of utter confusion. She couldn’t figure out why Lucas would be mentioned in this question. What did this have to do with him?

"You’ll understand later. For now, come patrol the territory with me," Perry said testily, swinging herself onto her warhorse.

"Your Highness, wait for me!" Sally hurriedly mounted her warhorse and chased after her.
