An illusory passage of time appeared, permitting Li Hao to yank someone out of it. The queen appeared on the scene with a look of horror in her eyes. All of these immense presences... made her shake!

“Help me with something, Ling Yue...” Li Hao smiled radiantly. The woman wanted to burst into tears!

“Li Hao!” Even Skyward couldn’t keep it in anymore. His yell rang through the chaos. “You are a demon! The chaos is doomed to fall with you in it!”

Whether it was Chaos Sky, Spring Autumn, Long Zhan, or the Human King... All of them halted.

Fang Ping’s jaw sagged and he didn’t make a sound. He gaped at Li Hao.

The queen was likewise stunned. But she grit her teeth the next second and activated something. Holy, sacred notes filled the void as the sounds of reverent prayer rang through the chaos.

Countless humans prayed for something. A beautiful, magnificent divine nation hovered in the void and began to integrate into the chaos. Endless power of faith oscillated outward.

It was like... they were waiting for their savior.

The ninth ranks’ attacks petered out. All of them truly resembled stone statues now—some were even petrified.

They were.... being threatened.

Indeed, they were being threatened!

Having done all this, Li Hao turned back to everyone else with a smile. “Fellow Daoist Chaos Sky, the ninth ranks will not be stopping me anymore today. Ling Yue will also depart after I establish my chaos. I may be vicious, but I leave a chance for others.

“The ninth ranks are welcome to return to the chaos after I complete my endeavor! Ling Yue, you are also welcome to leave after I succeed. Or you can also leave after I die in failure!”

Darkness had descended upon Chaos Sky, order had dispersed. Since Li Hao was so insistent on his course of action, the man no longer held any hope for peace. Regardless, he had to stop the young man.

Chaos Sky looked at the others in the vicinity, then at Long Zhan.

“Both the Human King and Spring Autumn were right to obstruct me!” he said calmly to the dragon. “In another time, you would be correct to stand against me as well. But if Li Hao proceeds with his enterprise... He will re-establish the chaos and break chaos dao for it. That will only further disperse the spirit of the chaos. In light of that, are you going to stop me as well?”

Li Hao wanted to create a new chaos in this location. He was going to disturb chaos dao and even extract its spirit!

That was not a good thing for chaos beasts.

Was Long Zhan going to support Li Hao as well?

Long Zhan took a deep breath. There was no option readily available. If he wanted to save Li Hao from Chaos Sky and prevent the man from growing even stronger, he should stop Chaos Sky.

But if Li Hao insisted on following his course of action, he needed to stop Li Hao.

The situation kept changing in the blink of an eye! A single mistake in an occasion like this might doom one beyond redemption!

“Li Hao, if you return to the eastern region, I will stop Chaos Sky if he stands in your way!” growled Long Zhan. “But if you choose to establish a new chaos, then you will make enemies out of the entire chaos race!”

“I’ve cast even my master aside, what do I care about you guys?” Li Hao’s voice drifted back as he continued forward. “You think too highly of yourself, Long Zhan. I will kill you if you try to stop me, it’s that simple!”

It was indeed that simple.

He’d already forced his master to die, did he care about the attitude of a chaos beast anymore?

Not at all.

“Long Zhan, I may not have enough energy to accomplish my task,” Li Hao said coldly. “Killing some of your race’s powerhouses might plug that gap. I accepted that Spring Autumn would bring you here and knew that you would try to stop me.

“I’m the one giving you a choice today, not you offering one to me. If you insist on setting yourself against me... killing one person is the same as killing thousands. It’s up to you if the chaos beasts will be able to survive this trial, not me!”

Powerhouses quickly caught up from the rear. Li Hao didn’t linger and made his way further inside, heading toward the end of the ninth layer.

Chaos Sky traveled extremely quickly and ignored everything else, simply commanding, “Stop the Human King and Spring Autumn!”

The Nine Layer Guard swiftly moved out. There were ten eighth ranks and four surrendered eighth ranks among them. Their leader was also astonishingly strong.

They immediately turned around and charged the New Martial and Spring Autumn factions when they received their orders.

“Stop Li Hao from starting a new chaos!” Long Zhan snapped out.

Behind him, chaos beasts responded with joy. That was how things should be!

Li Hao was their great enemy as he’d killed too many chaos beasts. He also shared grudges with many of the eighth ranks. Feng Yan’s mother, Black Tiger’s dao partner, Qingqiu’s aunt, Red Moon major world...

All of them had fallen to Li Hao.

They hadn’t been satisfied that Long Zhan had chosen to parley with Li Hao before, but Long Zhan’s authority was so high that there was nothing they could do about it.

Erupting in open hostilities with the young man was exactly what they wished to see.

“Kill Li Hao!” Black Tiger’s roar rang through the void.

Kill that two-legged animal!

Feng Yan was extremely excited. They might be weak, but they were still eighth ranks at the end of the day. It was very invigorating to see that they had a chance of taking revenge!

The Human King had many eighth ranks on his side, as well as those who answered to Li Hao. Altogether, they had numerous eighth ranks, but not that many powerhouses.

“Human King, leave this place to them, we should pursue Li Hao...” said Spring Autumn after some rapid thought.

The Human King unsheathed his blade and sent the captain of the guard reeling backward. It was a sign of how incredibly strong he was that they were evenly matched. The Human King’s blade vibrated after the clash!

And this was just one of Chaos Sky’s subordinates, not the man himself.

The Human King leered. His opponent was formidable! This would be a nice fight!

Chaos Sky was chasing Li Hao and the young man clearly wouldn’t be able to stand against his opponent. Long Zhan’s subordinates were rushing the Thunder Emperor and others, leaving Long Zhan free to rush after Li Hao.

With the two of them working together, there was no possible outcome for the young man other than death.

“It doesn’t matter to me whether or not he establishes his chaos...” cursed the Human King.

Why should I help him?

I’m just here to watch the show! It’s not like it’ll be any benefit to me after he establishes his chaos.

“Go on, leave this place to us!” laughed Supreme Zhang. “Whether it’s to watch everything play out or use Li Hao’s hand to kill all enemies, stop putting on airs. Silver Moon springs from New Martial, after all...”

The supreme chuckled and summoned his book of dao. Thousands of replicas appeared and looked around them.
