SSS-Rank Awakening: My Talent Multiplies Everything
Chapter 315: Let The Experiments Begin.
Unfortunately, the Spectre X Nano Bracelet he currently possessed wasn’t quite at that level. Though still an excellent piece of equipment, its transformation capabilities were limited, it could deploy into a full-body armor configuration, but that was essentially the extent of its structural flexibility.
At least, until now.
Kael looked down at the additional nano-particles covering his body.
Could it be...
If the armor could generate additional material through Earth Energy, then the original storage limitation would no longer be such a major obstacle.
And if those additional particles could be controlled in the same way as the original ones...
A grin slowly appeared on Kael’s face.
Then wouldn’t that mean...
As though sensing what he was thinking, Evelyn spoke again.
"Looks like you’ve figured it out."
Kael turned toward her.
She smiled.
"With the additional material generated through your energy, the armor is no longer limited to its original configuration."
She gestured toward his right arm.
"Those extra nano-particles can be rearranged and used however you wish, provided the control system can support the structure you’re trying to create."
Kael’s interest immediately increased.
Evelyn continued.
"With enough material, you could extend a portion of the armor into a blade, form a shield, or create other simple constructs depending on what you need."
She paused briefly.
"The important thing is that these structures would be formed from the same nano-material as the armor itself."
Kael’s grin widened.
Now that was something he could appreciate.
He had originally purchased the Spectre X Nano Bracelet because of the impression its later, more advanced version had once left on him.
And although the current model had been somewhat limited compared to what he remembered, he’d still considered it a worthwhile investment.
But now, with this new feature...
It was beginning to resemble the equipment he remembered from his previous life. No, it might even surpass it.
"Now you understand why we were so excited about the results?"
Kael chuckled.
"Yeah. I definitely understand now."
He looked down at his armor again.
"I take back what I said earlier. This is a pretty impressive upgrade."
Evelyn smiled proudly.
"I’m glad you think so."
"Although..."
Kael paused.
"There must be some limitations, right?"
"Of course."
Evelyn nodded immediately.
"As promising as this feature is, it isn’t completely without restrictions."
She gestured toward the armor.
"The first limitation is the amount of additional material you can generate."
Kael listened carefully.
"Since the multiplication process depends on the energy you’re supplying, the amount of energy available will naturally affect how much material can be produced."
She continued.
"And even if you possess enough energy, there’s still the question of how much the nano-material itself can withstand."
Kael nodded slowly.
That made sense.
Although Earth Energy was causing the nano-particles to multiply, it didn’t necessarily mean the process could continue indefinitely.
There might be a limit to how much energy the material could absorb.
Or perhaps the multiplication process would eventually slow or stop altogether once it hit a certain threshold.
As for the Earth Energy required? He wasn’t particularly concerned about that. As long as he kept cultivating the Primordial Genesis Sutra, his supply of Earth Energy would only continue growing.
And considering the amount he already possessed, providing enough energy to activate the feature shouldn’t be much of a problem.
The real question was how much the nano-material could actually multiply.
If the material could only increase by a small amount, then the number of structures he could create would naturally be limited.
However, if it could multiply several times over...
Kael’s eyes flickered.
Then the possibilities would become considerably more interesting.
Well, I guess that’s something we’ll have to find out.
He looked toward Evelyn.
"Anything else I should know?"
"Actually, yes."
Evelyn nodded.
"There’s one more drawback."
Kael raised an eyebrow.
"Go on."
She pointed toward the bracelet on his wrist.
"As I explained earlier, the bracelet itself has a limited storage capacity."
Kael nodded.
"Right."
"Unfortunately, that limitation hasn’t changed."
Evelyn continued, "Although your energy allows the armor to generate additional nano-particles, the bracelet still can’t store more than its original capacity."
Kael paused.
"So the extra particles..."
"Can’t be stored inside the bracelet," Evelyn finished.
She nodded.
"Once you’re done using the armor and return it to its bracelet form, the additional material won’t be retained."
Kael looked down at the suit.
Evelyn continued explaining.
"That means whenever you want to use the expanded configurations, you’ll need to supply the armor with your energy again."
She paused briefly.
"In other words, the multiplication process will have to be repeated each time."
Kael considered that for a moment.
Then he shrugged.
"Is that so?"
Evelyn blinked.
"Yes."
"Hmm."
Kael nodded.
"That’s fine."
The engineer looked slightly surprised by his casual response.
"You’re not concerned?"
"Not really."
Kael glanced at his armored hand.
From his perspective, it wasn’t much of a drawback.
If he needed additional material, he could simply supply more Earth Energy.
And since the multiplication process had already proven to be relatively quick, he doubted it would cause him much trouble in most situations.
Of course, he would still need to determine how long it took to generate larger amounts of material.
But that was a matter of efficiency rather than a fundamental problem.
As long as the armor could produce enough additional particles when needed, he was satisfied.
Besides, he had more than enough Earth Energy to spare.
"Honestly, that’s not much of an issue for me," Kael said.
Evelyn studied him for a moment before smiling.
"Well, that’s good to hear."
She seemed rather pleased that he wasn’t discouraged by the limitation.
After all, from an engineering perspective, the inability to store the additional particles was a significant restriction.
However, for someone like Kael, who possessed an unusually large supply of the required energy, the drawback was far less troublesome.
Evelyn glanced toward the equipment positioned along the walls of the chamber.
"Actually, Mr. Kael, there’s something else I’d like to ask."
Kael turned toward her.
"Hm?"
"Since this is the first time we’ve been able to properly test the upgraded armor with the original energy source, there are still several things we haven’t had the opportunity to examine."
She gestured toward the spacious room around them.
"I’d like to conduct a few additional tests to determine exactly what the new feature is capable of."
Kael looked around.
So that was why they had brought him to such a large testing chamber.
It made sense.
After all, the Spectre Guild had developed an entirely new function for the Nano Armor, and they naturally wanted to understand its capabilities as thoroughly as possible.
And since the feature depended on his Earth Energy, they couldn’t properly test it without his cooperation.
Evelyn continued.
"Of course, we’ll only proceed if you’re comfortable with it."
She smiled politely.
"Would you be willing to help us with a few experiments, Mr. Kael?"
Kael considered the request for a moment.
Then he smiled.
"Sure."
He raised his armored hand and flexed his fingers. "I was planning to test it out myself anyway. I’m pretty curious what this thing can actually do."
Evelyn’s expression brightened. "Excellent!"
Kael chuckled. "Alright, then."
He turned his attention toward the open space in the middle of the chamber. "Let’s do that."
