SSS-Rank Awakening: My Talent Multiplies Everything
Chapter 292: Dreamwalking Again.
Kael remained silent for a moment.
The more he learned about the vast cosmos, the more he realized just how little he actually knew.
The world he understood was merely a tiny fragment of something far greater. Beyond the world he lived in lay other realities, each potentially home to countless worlds and civilizations. And beyond those realities stood beings capable of treating entire realities as little more than objects in their hands.
The truth was almost absurd.
But instead of feeling discouraged, Kael felt a growing sense of anticipation.
One day, I’ll uncover all of it.
He didn’t know how long it would take or what kind of strength he would need to reach that point. He only knew that the path ahead was far broader than he had imagined.
For now, however, there were more immediate matters to attend to.
They had arrived at Ezra’s room.
Kael pushed the door open, and the two walked inside.
The room was well-lit, soft light spilling across the furniture and the neatly arranged bed. Ezra lay motionless on the mattress, dressed in a long white gown. Lyra had taken the time to clean her up and make sure she was comfortable.
At first glance, she could have been mistaken for someone peacefully taking a nap.
Unfortunately, her condition was far more serious than that.
Kael approached the bed, his expression settling into its usual calmness.
There was no point wasting time.
He reached into his Inventory and retrieved the Mindbloom Lotus Seed.
The seed rested in his palm, its surface dark and faintly translucent. It seemed to shift between physical and ethereal states, its outline occasionally becoming indistinct before returning to its previous form. Despite its strange appearance, it felt surprisingly solid when Kael held it.
He examined it for a brief moment.
This was the item they would use to heal Ezra’s soul and spirit. According to Aurelius, the seed would take root inside her Mind World, where it could nourish her damaged essence and gradually restore what had been lost.
The process was unusual, but Kael had no intention of hesitating now.
He closed his fingers around the seed and looked toward Varek.
"Let’s begin."
Varek inclined his head.
The next moment, the space beside him darkened, and a strange creature emerged.
It was the Hive Mind.
The Hive Mind hovered before them, awaiting its instructions.
Varek directed it toward Kael and Ezra.
The creature immediately responded.
A strange mental wave began radiating from its body, spreading through the room with barely any visible disturbance. The wave enveloped Kael first, then extended toward Ezra, wrapping around her motionless body.
Kael remained still, keeping the Mindbloom Lotus Seed firmly in his grasp.
The moment the mental wave connected them, the atmosphere in the room subtly changed. The air seemed to grow heavier, and the boundary between consciousness and the physical world began to blur.
The Hive Mind had initiated the Dream Walk process.
Kael closed his eyes and focused his mind.
He could sense the mental wave enveloping his consciousness, drawing him toward the strange boundary between the physical world and the realm of the mind. Not long afterward, his consciousness began to blur as the Dreamwalking process took effect.
The familiar yet uncomfortable sensation washed over him. For a brief period, his awareness seemed to lose its connection to his body, leaving him caught between two states of existence. Although he had experienced Dreamwalking before, the process was still far from pleasant.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for the sensation to pass.
When Kael finally regained his senses, he found himself standing inside Ezra’s Mind World.
Everything looked just as he remembered it. The surroundings were covered in soft pink hues, with fluffy structures scattered throughout the space, giving the entire world an almost dreamlike appearance.
However, Kael had no intention of wasting time admiring the scenery.
He immediately burst into motion, speeding toward the center of the Mind World.
It didn’t take long for him to arrive at his destination.
The core area remained exactly as he’d last seen it, the scar from his earlier battle with the white serpent still stretching visibly across the space between them. The damage had begun to mend, though only barely, the process painfully slow. Even as Ezra’s Mind World continued trying to repair itself, the deep injuries to her soul and spirit had clearly hindered its recovery, leaving the wound far from fully healed.
Thankfully, Kael had brought something that could help accelerate the process.
He approached the core and spotted Ezra’s figure lying motionless within it. This was the manifestation of her core consciousness, still deep in sleep despite the gradual recovery slowly taking place all around her.
Kael tightened his grip on the Mindbloom Lotus Seed and walked a little closer.
Once he reached her, he knelt down beside her and gently planted the seed deep into her consciousness.
The moment it took root, an immediate change occurred, one he could feel as much as see.
A powerful wave of mental energy spread outward from the seed, sweeping steadily through the surrounding space. The difference was unmistakable. The damaged areas of Ezra’s Mind World began recovering at a far faster rate, and the scar that had been mending so slowly before now gradually closed as the energy nourished every injured region it touched.
At the same time, the energy continued spreading throughout the entire Mind World.
The pink surroundings seemed to grow more vibrant, and the structures within this inner realm were bathed in the seed’s nourishing power. The Mindbloom Lotus wasn’t merely healing the existing damage. It was also strengthening Ezra’s Mind World, reinforcing its foundation and making it more resilient than before.
Kael observed the transformation with satisfaction.
"Good."
The item was performing exactly as Aurelius had described.
With the Mindbloom Lotus Seed now planted and its effects taking hold, there was no reason for Kael to remain inside Ezra’s Mind World. He reached out mentally to the Hive Mind and gave the instruction to end the Dream Walk.
