I...I did it. I fucking did it! He’s dead, he’s really dead! Hahaha...HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I triumphantly yanked my Death Scythe back out as his body went limp. I swung the blade across to get the blood off as he collapsed onto the ground, before glancing across as the woman and girl frantically ran away.

Hm...pretty sure he was looking to retreat just then. I bet I could’ve stopped him, but...if it wasn’t for those two, there is a chance that he could’ve gotten away. So, for that, I’ll let them run away.

More importantly...

"Finally, I’ll have one of the X-Aces among my forces. You’re mine now, Jaden Xeno. <Turn Und-...>," I began with a smirk, right before I spotted a bright flash of purple in my right peripheral.

The next thing I knew, my head was gone, completely erased off my shoulders. As it began to grow back, a searing heat collided against my left side, a fiery burst erupting upon impact and launching me across to my right.

As I hit the ground and skidded away, I got back up as my head finished regenerating, a flash of green shooting down towards me. I leapt across to evade it, a beam of green energy grazing my left shoulder and starting to turn it to stone.

I quickly sliced my shoulder off with my blade, glancing around as I healed. Kaivel Intrix, Ariella Velle and Cleo Nova, huh? Talk about bad timing...another second or two, and Jaden Xeno would’ve been mine.

"Leto Nex, you...you bastard...! I swear, you...you’ll pay for this," Kaivel stated in a cold fury, as he picked up Jaden’s corpse and placed him in his Treasury.

"You’re fucking dead," Added Ariella icily.

"You will regret this, if it’s the last thing I do...," Uttered Cleo, a murderous look in her eyes.

"Hah, you serious? First off, like I said before, it’s Reaper, The Undead King, I’m not Leto Nex anymore! And second, you have no way of killing me, nothing you do can put me down! And now that I’ve figured out how to best use my strength and power, you’re all fucked!" I sneered, before leaping across as a blast of black flames came shooting towards me from behind.

I then shot towards Cleo Nova, my head getting wiped out again as Kaivel fired out one of those purple blasts. But I didn’t slow down or stop, leaping forward as I closed in on Cleo, my head regenerating rapidly.

As I whipped my Death Scythe across at her, she quickly ducked, my blade severing a few strands of her hair. He appearance is different, she looks paler and she’s glowing slightly, her hair is spiky and her eyes are fully black, including a third eye on her forehead. She also had a pair of backward-curved black horns and a long wiry tail.

Must be another Spirit Fusion...something feels a bit off, but I’m not sure what. My body feels strange, like something’s different...

As she blasted through my stomach with a concentrated, piercing burst of flames, I lunged forward and drove my right knee up, slamming it against her chest and sending her hurtling back with a sharp gasp of pain.

A loud crash rang out as she collided against the side of a building, right as Kaivel sprang up to my right and whipped his blade across, slashing the top of my head clean off. As my skull flew off and hit the ground, I struck his stomach with my left fist, launching him away as he coughed out blood.

I then shot towards Ariella Velle as she unleashed a barrage of explosive blasts of flames. I didn’t bother avoiding them, instead focusing on straining my legs to move as fast as possible.

Several of her blasts hit me, searing my skin as they erupted upon impact, but they only slightly slowed me down. I leapt towards her as I closed in, flames swirling in a concentrated spiral around her right arm as she drove her fist towards me.

I let her strike hit my left palm, the flames piercing and tunneling through my hand and wrist, her fist getting lodged inside my forearm as she drilled right through.

I tightened the muscles in my mangled arm as she tried to pull her fist back out, as I simultaneously whipped my Death Scythe towards the middle of her torso. She winced in pain as she just barely blocked my swing with her left arm, my blade piercing through the middle of her forearm.

She then snapped open her jaws and fired out a blast of flames from her mouth, hitting my face and sending me stumbling back. Suddenly, Cleo and Kaivel sprang up on either side of me, Kaivel’s blade getting lodged into the right side of my head as Cleo extended out claws of Mana from her gloves, plunging them into the side of my neck.

Suddenly, as I flicked my wrist and whipped my scythe towards Cleo, the Mana claws abruptly vanished, as I got that strange feeling again. She braced herself, grimacing as my blade pierced into her right side.

She then gritted her teeth and pulled it out as my eyes widened in surprise, before she sprang back as Kaivel suddenly created a black hole, engulfing my head and rapidly expanding, my entire body getting dragged into it and vanishing.

As he swallowed up my entire body with the black hole, he swiftly backed away as I rapidly regenerated from scratch, before a massive, blazing wave of crimson flames came bursting out towards me, engulfing the growing, shapeless mass of my regenerating body and blasting me away.

I continued regenerating as the charred mass of my body skidded across the ground, before summoning a Mid Level Mutant and having it kick me into an alley, right as Kaivel fired out another purple blast, wiping out my undead summon.

I scrambled back onto my feet and leapt out of the alley as most of my body regenerated, right in the nick of time as another purple blast shot through the corner of the building to the left of the alley, shaving a layer of skin off my back as it grazed me.

They’re holding their own for now, but it’s only a matter of time before they reach their time limits with their power boosts, not to mention run out of Mana and stamina. Once they’re weakened and worn down, I can kill them at my leisure and turn them undead, forever under my control...
