Chapter 244: Chapter 123: Bruce’s Plan, Superman’s Crimes! (Part 1)
He turned the computer screen toward the two of them, pulling up a blurry photo.
"That man’s weakness is Green Kryptonite, a special mineral that emits a unique wavelength. It can drastically weaken his strength, strip him of his ability to fly, and cause him to endure extreme agony."
"These are the coordinates Lex Luthor sent me via an encrypted message before his arrest. It marks the hiding place of the last batch of Kryptonite, located in an abandoned warehouse at Gotham Port."
He then brought up another image showing an archaic clock tower. The Bat-Signal at its peak was already covered in rust.
"The battlefield will be here: the Gotham Observatory Clock Tower. It is one of the highest vantage points in Gotham and has an independent structure. Beneath it lies a century-old underground shelter capable of shielding against Cyborg’s signal detection, preventing him from discovering us before we begin."
A trace of a cold smile flashed through Bruce’s eyes.
"Most importantly, it is conspicuous enough. As long as the Bat-Signal is lit once more, that man will definitely notice it. He will absolutely not allow anyone to raise the banner of rebellion within his order."
"Tonight at 20:00, through the underground network nodes, I will broadcast all the evidence of that man’s crimes onto every still-functioning public screen."
Bruce’s voice carried a hint of unwavering resolve.
"He will certainly have Cyborg trace the signal source. Moreover, to cover up his crimes, he will come alone. There is no one left in this world whom he fears; his arrogance will cause him to barge into the underground shelter completely off guard."
Bruce straightened his posture, his aura undergoing a sudden transformation. The Dark Knight who protected Gotham had finally returned.
He turned to Barry, speaking rapidly.
"Barry, your speed is the key. After the evidence is broadcasted, you must reach the warehouse within 5 seconds, retrieve the Kryptonite, and deliver it to the clock tower’s underground shelter. Remember, do not alert anyone. Your only objective is the Kryptonite."
He then looked at Alex, his tone carrying an unprecedented solemnity.
"Mr. Alex, you are the terminator. When that man is lured to the center of the shelter, initiate your extreme cold domain first. The goal is not to freeze him directly, but to freeze the atomic movement in the space around him. His power comes from stellar radiation; halting the atomic movement will make him instantly perceive a disconnect in his power, disrupting his defenses and distracting his attention."
"Then, use your Thunder of Chaos to strike with all your might for a one-hit kill."
Bruce’s gaze was like a torch as it swept over the two of them.
"The entire plan must be completed within 60 seconds. Barry taking the Kryptonite cannot exceed 5 seconds. The moment the Kryptonite arrives at the shelter, Alex will simultaneously unleash the extreme cold and the thunder. The interval between these three actions cannot exceed a millisecond."
"If we give him even a moment to catch his breath, allowing him to contact the Justice League or visitors from unknown dimensions, we will fail completely. Failure means the entire planet will be buried alongside him."
"We only have this one chance. One strike to determine his death."
Bruce’s voice was sonorous and forceful, echoing throughout the cave.
"Operation Code: Dark Judgment. Tonight at 20:00, let that false god who styles himself as righteous be reduced to ashes under the evidence of his sins. Do you two have any questions?"
Barry looked at Bruce, his voice carrying a trace of sorrow as golden electric arcs flickered faintly in his eyes.
"The plan is perfect, but if we both leave, what will you do? What if... we fail to kill him in time, and that man strikes out in a fit of rage..."
Bruce bent down and picked up the shattered Bat-cowl from the ground, brushing off the dust with his fingertips.
He slowly donned the Bat-cowl, revealing only a pair of eyes burning with fighting spirit.
The corner of Bruce’s mouth curled into a cold arc. His voice transmitted through the mask, carrying the unique majesty of the Dark Knight.
"Batman never disappears. As long as Gotham still stands, as long as darkness still exists, he will return from the shadows."
"Even if I only have one breath left, I will drag him down to hell with me."
An imperceptible ripple flashed through Alex’s black eyes. Although he was confident in severely wounding Superman, he could not guarantee that he could completely protect Bruce.
