"Well think about it you are the biggest competitor that they have out there and that is why everyone had their eyes set on you. Plus that battle that you had with Candice has caused s lot of damage and as a result of that it has caused them to experience several financial losses. So what I am trying to tell you is that you are going to soon understand that they are doing this so that they can get everything back." She said to him.

He groaned as he let out ,a slight sigh from his lips. he didn’t like the fact that they were using bribery in order for them to get what they wanted from him. He knew that it wasn’t right and he knew that they most likely knew that too.

"But why are they using this means in order to get bribes from me. Why dint they demand it from Candice after all she was the one who started all of this. she is the reason behind everything on me." He said to her.

"Yes well that is just how things are going to be. Life isn’t fair and people are always going to be looking for a scapegoat that they would be able to use in order for them to blame everything." She said to him.

She watched as he gulped before as he spoke up. "so what does that mean. What is going to happen now." He asked her shakily and he watched as her face fell. he knew that whatever she was going to say was something that he wasn’t going to like.

"Well I know that you aren’t going to be happy to hear this but believe that they are going to keep doing this and they are going to keep coming after you even when you have managed to bribe them. This isn’t going to stop. once they have started bribing you they are going to simply keep coming back" she said to him.

She watched as his face fell but there was a part of him that knew that her words were true. However he had hop[ed that they would be. Able to find a way out of all of it. "so what does that mean. How are we going to solve this."

"Well I know that you aren’t going to like the solution that I am going to give you. But I think that the only way that they are going to leave us alone is if we leave the city." She said to him.

"So you are saying that they aren’t going to leave us alone and the smiths are going to have to leave the city if we are going to want peace." He said to her and he watched as she was quiet.

He thought over her words for a moment as he knew that she wouldn’t give him something terrible.

He knew that if he needed someone to help him out or to get him out of a tight situation then she was the person to help him that.

She had experience in the political forefront as she had been the leader of her people and so he knew that whatever advice that she would give him that she wouldn’t say anything to him that would put him at a disadvantage.

He knew that although he was powerful and smart he often needed help from others around him as well. He wasn’t invincible and he needed to have guidance from those that he could trust.

"So what do you think that we should do." He found himself asking her.

She couldn’t deny the fact that she was slightly shocked that he had asked for her help. Usually he preferred to do things on his own but she was still somewhat glad to see that he was asking for her own advice.

"Well one thing that I know for certain is that you can’t do this alone. If you want to combat the people you are going to need help." She said to him. Zach was silent as he didn’t particularly like the thought of him going outside in order for him to get help. However he knew that he didn’t have a say in the matter.

"I know that you don’t want to have to resort to something like that but I am afraid that it is the only way. it is either that or you run and you leave the city and I know how much you would hate that. The last thing that you would want wads for people to see you as some kind of a coward." She said to him.

He grunted lowly but didn’t say anything to her in response and she couldn’t help but smirk as she knew that she had won. "So what do you suggest that I do then." He said other with a huff.

He watched as she shrugged her shoulders at him. "Well you could get help from the military personnel. It should serve as a form of protection for you and it would also show the people that you were not someone that they were supposed to mess with." She said to him.

"The military." He said in a mutter as he began to think over it. He understood that it did make sense to him to an extent.

"Yes as you know the military is more powerful than the government officials and so the government can’t tell them what to do. It will be able to put the government personnel in their place and so he them that they aren’t the ones at the top." She said to him.

It was simple and to Zach it made a lot of sense but he knew that things were never that easy. He knew for as fact that there had to be more to the story. He looked to her with narrowed eyes.

"Well that is all good and well but I know that there is more to it so how about you tell me the catch. The part that you are keeping form me." he watched as she bit down on her lip and rung her fingers around each other.

"Well the military are going to be effective but they are going to costly you." She said to him and he couldn’t l help but groan slightly at the revelation. However he wasn’t surprised by her words.

It seemed as though everything that were to come to a person in that land had to come at a cost.

It was a give and take type of situation and if you wanted to receive something then you would have to be willing to give something in return.

"How pricey are we talking about." He asked her and he looked at the fallen look that was on her face before sucking in a deep breath. Something told him that he wasn’t going to be too thrilled to hear her answer.

He huffed as he thought over what he would have to do now and what the next step that he would have to take would be.

"Well the decision is still yours. You can decide to continue as it ids and do nothing, move away or get some help." She said top him.

Zach sat there for several minutes as he thought over what she had said. He knew for a fact that the decision wasn’t as easy as that.

He knew that the smiths moving out of the city was something that he couldn’t allow to happen. In fact it wasn’t an option and so he would have to explore the other options that he had.

He could try and ignore the people of the city and continue on with his life as it was. But he knew that it would be hard for him to do that. He was already getting harassed and attacked by them as it was and he knew that it would only get worse for him if he were to decide to not put up with them.

He knew that they were going to keep coming back and each tine that they did come they wouldn’t leave until he gave them something to shut them up.

They would keep coming back over and over again until it happened that he didn’t have anything left for him to give.

The other decision was for him to get the military in but he knew that it would cause him to have a large dent in their finances and that it would cause their economy to weaken.

He knew that once that happened it would take a lot for him to get the company back up.

"So what are you going to do. But I know that it is hard for you and all but you should know that it will be worth it in the end because if you continue on your current path you will lose more money by giving bribes than you will spend through getting protection. And with the military you wouldn’t give in to the government but you would show them that you are stronger than them and you are not one for them to mess with. you will show them that you are s strong force and that you are able to stand on your own." She said to him.

He was silent as he thought over her words for a moment. He knew that her words were the truth and that she was making a lot of sense.

In the end everything was about power and he had to show them that he was powerful and strong enough that he would not be bent or folded because of their threats.
