"Wait a second, Burpe!" Xu Feng called out with heavy breathing.

"You’re too fast. I don’t have enough stamina to chase after you."

Burpe then pointed at the glistening, colorful pool. "Master should hurry and dip in it."

"Eh, dip into the pool now?" Alarmed, Xu Feng clearly didn’t expect to be bathing after such an intense chase.

Alas, he didn’t even get to react much when Burpe suddenly vanished from its position.

In the next instance, Burpe appeared behind and gave him a light push.

Although it was a light push, Xu Feng found himself propelling forward, almost as if he had been fired from a hydro cannon.

He caused a big splash in the pool, and a ripple of water appeared as he went straight into diving mode.

After struggling inside for a while, he managed to resurface and looked at Burpe in disbelief.

He wanted to question why he was acting so abnormally when he suddenly noticed Burpe’s liquid-like state was trembling.

A few seconds later, Xu Feng’s expression changed when he saw two different sets of faces.

"Master, this is the end of our journey." Half of Burpe’s innocent-like face was shown, and he said in extreme warmth.

"NO, WHO ALLOWED YOU TO DO THIS!" The other half of Burpe’s face was filled with killing intent. Its tone also resembled Raiza deeply as it roared in fury.

"Hmph, I might have been suppressed when you took over my body, but I was still conscious. My former Master Bea had long known about your residue within me and did some trick." Burpe snorted.

"Siren Bea? That whore actually dares to mess with me??!" Dumbfounded, Raiza was completely taken off guard. It had never once occurred to him that a mere Siren had sabotaged his precious plans in the making.

"What is going on?" At this moment, Xu Feng was filled with confusion.

Everything was happening so fast—to the point where he couldn’t even take a breather to comprehend the situation.

"You damn cursed Sea Traveler!" Upon hearing Xu Feng’s voice, Raiza darted half of his face at him.

"What have you done to this foolish Burpe? How could he expend all his Phantasm Liquid to you!"

"Who said it’s just my Phantasm Liquid?" Burpe chimed in and sneered.

"Your Phantasia Liquid will also be used to nourish my Master. You have long been defeated, and the fight is no longer about you. Only my Master could possibly confront the Abyssal Eye and save the Phantasm Sea."

"You foolish creature! Without my power, you wouldn’t have even existed! How dare you try to lecture me on the way it’s done!"

"As expected of a blind and greedy spirit. The prophecy had long stated the conclusion."

Raiza wanted to keep arguing, but Burpe had long grown tired.

It refused to give Raiza any opportunity to reverse the situation.

"Let’s just go and nourish the Master." Burpe smiled sweetly. "You can also save your petty scheme to the grave. Want to use the Master as a medium and control him as another one of your puppets? Not on my watch!"

Shortly after saying so, Burpe’s body began to illuminate, much to Raiza’s shock and horror.

"Master, the time we spent was very fun and exciting. If there’s ever a chance, let’s have another firing competition."

"W-What are you talking about?" Xu Feng’s pupils constricted from the wording. He wanted to leave the pool, but was pushed back from the sudden pressure sourced from Burpe.

All he could do was see Burpe merging with the unwilling Raiza.

"CURSE YOU, BURPE! THE PHANTASM SEA WOULD FALL WITHOUT ME!"

Raiza’s final outcry reverberated in the area.

"Stop your delusional thinking, Raiza. The Phantasm Sea never needed you, only the Sea Traveler from the prophecy." Burpe chuckled and completed the merge.

In the next instance, he and Raiza officially turned into a pure liquid consisting of the Phantasm and Phantasia elements.

Xu Feng’s expression was extremely complicated as he watched the pure liquid drop into the pool.

Despite the rapid change in the pool and his experience bar, along with many attributes rising, all he could see was the system prompt.
