Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1709: Captured Minds

Chapter 1709: Captured Minds

—–

Aquarina combined her Aura with her friends to expand her Eyes of the Earth and evolve it into Divin Earth Senses, allowing her to expand her underground senses to an immensely wide range!

Aside from that, she was also able to reach the furthest underground, scanning everything and mapping it within her own mind, as Aquarina happened to have pretty good memory.

FLAAASH

With their help, she expanded her Aura through the entire mountain-like cliff, reaching much deeper than before.

She was able to calculate the amount of ants inside and even with the eggs they were protecting, there were roughly over two thousand ants and three thousand eggs.

As she scanned mostly everything, she rushed down, constantly trying to find something else…

The queen, or queens.

She wanted to see where they were and see how strong they were.

But…

“Hm? Are they over there?”

She slowly expanded her senses down, resembling a sea of ethereal golden light, until they reached the deepest part of the cliff and then all the way to the undermost zone.

Until finally, at long last…

She saw something, some sort of figure, or perhaps many?

They seemed to be more than one at least.

“So there’s two queen-”

TRUUUM!

However, in that moment, Aquarina and her friends were left paralyzed out of nowhere, as they sensed an immensely powerful aura coming underground.

This aura, this presence, this being…

It caught up to their combined aura, and grasped it with their very own aura, suddenly, their minds were twisted, as they found themselves falling into an infernal hell.

“W-What’s going on?!” Justicio screamed.

“Uwaaaahhh?!” Silvia could only cry.

“T-This must be some sort of illusion!” Agua said.

“W-We’re falling into flames?!” Aquarina gasped. “Shit, that thing grabbed our freaking auras?! I didn’t even know they could do this!”

As the children fell from the skies into the hellish inferno, something began emerging from within the endless hell, a monstrous insectoid being, of red chitin and sharp orange eyes glaring at them.

Massive mandibles with sharp fangs, and pointy antennae, resembling demonic horns…

“BURN… WE SHALL… BURN IT ALL… TO MAKE NEW HOMES… ALL OF YOU… MUST BURN!”

A monstrous voice echoed from within the endless infernal hell everyone was on, for a moment, Aquarina just had no idea how to get out of here.

The flames burned for real too, as they fell into the fire, they started screaming in agony!

“S-Shit! What the fuck is this?! Dammit! DAMMIT!”

As Aquarina screamed in frustration, suddenly…

FLUOOOSH!

A powerful wave of emerald winds rushed from the skies, as the flames suddenly began weakening considerably, beginning to rapidly disappear.

“WHO DARES…?! GRAAAACK!”

The monstrous insectoid abomination roared furiously, glaring at the one that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, a giant, winged and feathered figure.

A massive bird made of emerald winds, releasing winds everywhere and overwhelming the endless flames.

“Quetz!”

Agua smiled happily to see him appear within this Mindscape, as his powerful winds rapidly wrapped everyone, the gigantic bird made of ethereal energies rushed to the skies, carrying everyone with him.

“CRYAAAAH!”

As the bird cried loudly, the monstrous insectoid creature roared, its enormous powers and abilities rushing towards them, this was all but a Mindscape but to exert so much power, it was both clearly very intelligent and also possessed powerful magical, spiritual, and psychic abilities.

“I SHALL DEVOUR YOUR SOULS AND MINDS! BURN TO ASHES!”

The aberrant insectoid monster roared, as they suddenly manifested thousands of gigantic volcanic fireballs, or more like meteors, and launched them at Quetz as he escaped towards the skies.

The giant bird spread out his wings, flying around and evading the incoming missiles, explosions of flames and molten stone erupting everywhere.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

“Just what’s going on?!”

As this all happened, Silvia screamed everywhere, panicking like nobody else.

“We got caught in that monster’s Aura and it directly sent us to a Mindscape, our minds are trapped inside of this place!”

Aquarina was quick to explain things to Silvia, as she manifested her dark and aquatic powers, unleashing abyssal energy and freezing seas.

“That monster is incredibly powerful, that thing goes beyond any of the other Ant Queen’s we’ve fought so far! It even has psychic powers of this caliber!”

As she said that, she closed her palms and unleashed dozens of gigantic sea serpents made of her manifested elements, clashing against all the projectiles.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As the explosions spread everywhere, Aquarina looked up, noticing a huge hole in the sky, the area where Quetz most likely entered through.

“Quetz, how did you get in here?”

“I just touched you with my own Wind Aura when I saw you suddenly pass out! I had no idea there was a monster that could capture minds! Also this form… Why do I look like that monster?”

“This is most likely your own Soul Avatar, this is the shape of your Soul, Quetz! Or something like that. I think you have enough power to clash against that thing easily, your Spiritual Power is also almost divine… that thing too, I believe.”

“DIVINE?!”

Justicio, Silvia, and even Agua all asked at the same time, realizing that they had reached a battleground that slightly exceeded their own realm already.

“We don’t have time to talk about this right now, we have to fight while Quetz flies us out of here! Only for a few couple more seconds, do something you three!”

Aquarina wasn’t going to sit down and explain things to them, her friends nodded, knowing full well there wasn’t any other option either way.

“S-So how do we even…?!” Justicio asked.

“This is a mindscape, in here the power of your Mind and your Soul are everything!” Aquarina said. “Mana and other energies apply a lot too but aren’t everything either! Use your imagination and shape it into attacks! This is a battle of mind and souls!”

“Mind and souls…?!” Silvia asked.

“So we have to use our imagination, got it!” Justicio nodded, smiling.

“T-This is a bit complicated…!” Agua cried.

And in that moment, they unleashed their elemental attacks against the thousands of meteors coming towards them from below.
