Reincarnated as a damn planet
Chapter 126: Thy Tremble
The sky began to shake.
It was not the sound of thunder, nor was it caused by the countless attacks being exchanged between the angels and Pantheons. The entire realm itself seemed to vibrate, as though something far beyond their understanding had stirred within the world.
Multiple projectiles began flying toward the Pantheons from every direction.
Each one carried enough power to tear through the air itself, leaving distortions in their wake as they traveled. The Pantheons instinctively moved, dodging the attacks as they flew past them and carved enormous trails through the sky.
Odir gritted his teeth as he prepared to counterattack.
But before he could move, a sudden burst of lightning exploded beside him.
"Don’t forget about us."
Ragnir stood beside him, lightning crackling across his body.
Next to Ragnir stood Wias, the lizardman calmly holding an unfamiliar object that resembled a gun. He aimed it toward the angels, and a bright energy began gathering at the muzzle.
The weapon began to hum.
"What... What happened?"
Levectus suddenly stopped. His wings remained open, yet they could no longer move.
He tried to twitch his fingers. "I can’t move..."
Across the battlefield, the same thing happened.
The Pantheons were frozen in place.
The angels were frozen in place.
Even the attacks suspended in the air had stopped moving. For the first time since the battle began, absolute silence descended upon the realm.
Levectus’ eyes widened. He tried to understand what was happening, but before he could even form another thought, something appeared around them.
Multiple enormous eyes began floating through the air.
They appeared from nowhere, surrounding the entire battlefield. Their pupils slowly contracted and expanded, each one turning toward a different individual as if observing everything that had happened.
"Wh..."
Levectus could barely force the word from his mouth.
Then a voice came.
"THAT IS ENOUGH."
The voice did not simply echo.
It shook the entire realm. Every syllable carried such overwhelming authority that the sky itself seemed to tremble beneath it. Mountains shook, the clouds scattered, and even the floating lands seemed to bow beneath the presence of the voice.
"THE BATTLE IS OVER."
Silence followed.
No one could answer and no one could move.
The Pantheons could only stare. The angels could only stare.
Then the voice spoke again. "YOU HAVE FOUGHT THE WRONG ENEMY."
A brilliant light suddenly began surging from beneath the ground.
It erupted upward, illuminating the entire battlefield in a radiance far beyond the light of Heaven. The darkness surrounding Sebastian disappeared, the crimson aura around Pandi faded, and the weapons held by both sides became completely still.
"YOU HAVE RAISED YOUR BLADES AGAINST THOSE WHO WERE NEVER YOUR ENEMIES."
The countless eyes blinked one after another. "You have shed the blood of your own kind."
Another eye blinked. "You have caused deaths among yourselves."
The realm remained silent.
Then the voice softened. "BUT IT IS FINE."
The words carried a strange sense of finality.
"PANTHEONS... MEET THE ANGELS."
The eyes turned toward the Pantheons.
"ANGELS... MEET THE PANTHEONS."
The angels stared toward the beings they had been fighting.
"There were no intruders."
The words echoed through the sky. "You had simply fought among yourselves."
A tremendous pressure descended upon everyone.
"PANTHEONS EXIST TO SERVE THE WORLD BELOW."
The light became brighter.
"THE ANGELS EXIST TO SERVE ME."
The words reverberated throughout the heavens and the earth.
"You possess different forms. Different purposes. Different paths."
The eyes slowly closed. "Yet every path is linked to Me."
The voice grew deeper. "All of it exists beneath the design I have created."
The entire battlefield trembled. "You may stand upon different lands."
"You may serve different purposes, you may believe yourselves separated by distance, power, or creation."
"But everything is by design."
The final words echoed across the realm. "Everything."
Then the presence disappeared and the eyes vanished.
The overwhelming pressure disappeared. And time began moving again.
The attacks that had been frozen in the air suddenly fell apart into harmless fragments. Wind began moving through the battlefield once more, feathers drifted downward, and dust slowly settled across the ground as though the battle had never happened.
Yet none of them immediately moved. The angels and Pantheons simply stood there.
Then they began to breathe heavily.
Levectus lowered his sword, his chest rising and falling rapidly. It felt as though he had been suffocating beneath an invisible ocean, and even now that the presence had vanished, his body struggled to recover.
Quantiam also breathed heavily.
The Pantheons were no different.
They had fought against terrifying creatures before, faced disasters, wars, and even forces capable of threatening entire civilizations. Yet none of them had ever experienced something like that.
They had not been defeated.
They had simply been reminded of the difference between themselves and their Creator.
Levectus slowly looked around. His eyes narrowed.
Then he noticed something.
The angels who had fallen during the battle were standing again.
The ones who had been struck by Pandi’s crimson attacks were alive. Those consumed by Sebastian’s darkness had returned.
They had been resurrected.
Levectus stared at them silently.
He finally understood. Their lives had never truly belonged to them.
Quantiam slowly flew forward.
She stopped several meters away from the Pantheons before lowering herself in the air and bowing her head deeply.
"We deeply apologize."
Her voice was filled with genuine regret.
"We were too inexperienced to understand the world beyond Heaven. We believed your presence was a threat, and when you attacked us, we responded without first attempting to understand who you were."
She lowered her head even further. "We should have introduced ourselves before raising our weapons."
Trias stepped forward. The Goddess of Motherhood, Protection, and Salvation lowered her head as well.
"We are also at fault."
Her voice remained calm. "We believed another enemy had invaded our lands, and we acted upon that assumption without considering another possibility. We allowed our fear and instinct to decide our actions before seeking an explanation."
Quantiam slowly raised her head. There was confusion in her eyes.
"Another enemy?"
Trias looked at her.
Quantiam’s expression changed slightly. "Again?"
