Reincarnated as a damn planet
Chapter 125: BY DESIGN
Above the skies where the Pantheons looked upward and the angels looked downward, there was no difference between them. Both sides had been created to serve the same Creator, yet neither understood that the beings standing before them were servants of the very same existence. Without knowing the truth, they had begun fighting against their own kind.
And all at once, their attacks were aimed directly toward the Pantheons.
Pandi raised her small hand, opening her palm toward the descending angels. A dark aura immediately gathered above it, forming the shape of a blade before its color gradually changed into a deep crimson that pulsed with destructive energy.
Beside her stood her grandfather, Sebastian Flyde, the God of Darkness and Death. His expression remained completely calm as the angels descended toward them, their weapons shining brightly as they prepared to strike.
Before the first attack could reach them, Pandi disappeared.
Her figure suddenly reappeared several meters away, already in midair. She swung her crimson blade through the empty space, and the slash released a red projectile that tore across the battlefield toward the angels.
The attack moved too quickly.
Several angels attempted to dodge, but the projectile crashed directly into them, overwhelming their bodies with destructive force. Their wings were thrown backward, their formations collapsing as they fell from the sky like wounded birds.
Sebastian Flyde moved at the same time.
Unlike his granddaughter, he did not release a projectile. Instead, Sebastian slowly opened his palm, and something black began to emerge from within it, spreading outward like twisted roots.
The darkness crawled through the air.
It moved unnaturally, stretching toward the descending angels before suddenly wrapping around them. The moment it touched their bodies, their radiant light began to disappear.
Their golden glow was swallowed.
Their bodies became darker and harder, resembling stone gargoyles as the darkness consumed the light within them. Moments later, they lost control of their wings and dropped toward the ground.
"Moleius, Sebastian, Pandi, don’t kill them!" Moleius shouted from a distance. His voice carried across the battlefield as he continued watching the angels carefully. "We don’t know if they are allies or enemies yet!"
Pandi clicked her tongue in annoyance.
Sebastian glanced toward Moleius before giving a small sigh.
"Okay."
"Okay," Pandi replied at the same time.
Neither of them sounded particularly happy about it.
On the other side of the battlefield, the intensity was far greater.
Levectus, the first angel, floated beside Quantiam, the second angel, while five Pantheons surrounded them from different directions. The two angels stared at their opponents, their expressions becoming increasingly serious as the pressure surrounding the Pantheons continued to rise.
Odir was the first to attack.
The God of Bravery and War raised his Dual Axe above his head before charging forward, his muscles tightening as he swung the enormous weapon downward. The force behind the attack distorted the air around him.
At the same time, Olium raised a single finger.
Behind him, countless swords began materializing.
An enormous formation of blades appeared behind the God of the Forest and Sacrifice, each sword pointing directly toward the two angels.
Le Von Dia slowly raised his hand.
His finger pointed toward Levectus and Quantiam.
A black orb appeared.
It was small at first, barely larger than a human head, yet the darkness compressed within it felt unnatural. The surrounding air seemed to distort around its surface as though even light struggled to exist near it.
Rize raised her sword.
She swung it through the air. Multiple fiery projectiles erupted from the slash, shooting toward the angels at tremendous speed. Their burning trails crossed through the sky as they joined the countless attacks already heading toward the two angels.
Then Catalyst stepped forward.
The God of Dragons and Ice raised his hand, and an enormous lance of ice formed above him. It was far larger than the one he had used earlier, with countless layers of frozen energy compressed around its surface.
Then he released it.
The ice lance shot forward like a bolt of lightning.
Levectus and Quantiam looked around them.
The two angels widened their eyes. "They really need to be eradicated."
Their wings suddenly moved.
Thousands of swords began traveling through the air at insane speeds, covering almost every possible direction. The black orb slowly floated forward behind them while Rize’s projectiles and Catalyst’s enormous ice lance followed from different angles.
The two angels immediately flew backward.
Their wings danced through the air as they created distance from the incoming attacks. Levectus and Quantiam moved together, their movements perfectly synchronized as the attacks continued closing in.
Then both angels raised their wings.
For a brief moment, everything became still.
Their wings opened completely. And then they snapped them outward.
BOOM!
A tremendous force exploded from their bodies.
The shockwave spread across the battlefield, violently shaking the ground beneath them. Dust erupted from the earth while the surrounding trees and structures bent beneath the pressure.
A brilliant golden glow exploded from the angels.
The thousands of swords were struck first. They were blown backward in every direction, their formation completely destroyed as the golden force pushed against them. Yet the remaining attacks continued forward.
The shockwave was not enough.
Catalyst’s ice lance continued advancing.
Rize’s projectiles followed.
The black orb remained in the air.
Odir was still charging.
Levectus narrowed his eyes.
He raised his sword. The biological weapon extending from his arm began sliding across the blade, merging with it as the weapon transformed. Golden energy gathered around the sword, growing brighter with every passing second.
Levectus pointed the blade forward.
"FEEL THE SWORD OF GOD!"
He swung. The sword tore through the air.
A massive golden shockwave erupted from the blade, cutting across the battlefield with enough force to split the incoming attacks. The sheer pressure behind it caused the surrounding clouds to scatter.
Le Von Dia watched the attack approach.
His eyes suddenly widened. Something passed dangerously close to his head.
He barely moved in time.
The golden slash missed him by only a few inches before continuing into the distance. For a brief moment, Le Von Dia remained completely still.
Then an enormous explosion erupted behind him.
BOOM!
The force sent ripples of shockwave into the air.
Le Von Dia did not even need to turn around.
He already knew whose attack it was. His expression slowly changed as he looked toward the battlefield.
"...So you finally decided to join."
