Reincarnated as a damn planet

Chapter 124: CHARGE!!!

  • Next Chapter

The sky was illuminated by a gentle glow, its light reflecting against the feathers of a thousand angels hovering high above the clouds. Their wings stretched outward in different shapes and sizes, each feather shimmering beneath the heavenly light as they remained suspended in the vastness of the sky.

At the very front stood an angel whose appearance visibly surpassed the others. His wings were larger, his presence heavier, and in his hand rested a glowing sword that radiated a brilliance unlike anything the others possessed.

His name was Levectus, the highest-ranking angel among them and the very first angel to ever exist. He slowly raised his sword, allowing its light to shine across the army behind him before turning his gaze toward the endless clouds below.

"Together, we will go and explore the unknown lands below," Levectus declared, his voice carrying throughout the heavens. "We have no idea what lies there, so prepare yourselves. Whatever awaits us may not welcome our arrival."

The angels remained silent, listening carefully to every word their leader spoke. They had been created for a purpose, and although none of them knew exactly what awaited them below, the instincts embedded within their very existence told them that they had been made to fight.

Levectus tightened his grip around his sword and spread his wings to their full length. "Spread your wings. Let the heavens witness our descent."

With a powerful beat of his wings, Levectus plunged downward through the clouds. The thousand angels behind him immediately followed, their wings beating against the air as the enormous formation descended from Heaven and entered the unknown.

For hours, they continued downward through an endless sea of clouds. The white surroundings eventually began to thin, and the light that once surrounded them gradually faded as something far larger appeared beneath their feet.

The clouds finally separated.

What appeared before them was a vast world stretching farther than their eyes could comprehend. Endless lands, forests, mountains, rivers, and distant structures covered the horizon, completely different from the floating lands they had known within Heaven.

The angels slowed their descent.

Some stared in silence, while others instinctively spread their wings to maintain their positions. They had expected something beneath Heaven, but none of them had imagined an entire world waiting beyond the clouds.

Quantiam, the second angel, widened her eyes as she looked toward the distant lands. "...Lands."

The word escaped her almost unconsciously.

Levectus remained silent as he stared below. His eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the unfamiliar terrain, searching for anything that could explain what they were seeing.

Then suddenly, the air changed.

A tremendous force struck Quantiam from the side.

Her body was thrown through the air as her wings snapped outward, immediately forming a barrier around herself. The impact sent her spiraling away from the formation, but she quickly forced her wings open and used them to counter her momentum.

"What was that?" Quantiam muttered.

She stabilized herself and looked toward the direction of the attack.

Several individuals could be seen in the distance.

They were standing upon the floating lands below, their gazes directed toward the angels that had descended from the heavens. None of them appeared frightened, and instead, their expressions carried confusion mixed with hostility.

One of the unknown individuals stepped forward.

"Where did you all come from?"

The voice carried tremendous energy, reaching the angels even from a considerable distance.

Quantiam slowly turned her head toward Levectus.

The first angel was already staring at them. His fingers tightened around the hilt of his glowing sword, and the light surrounding the blade became slightly brighter.

"So violent..." Levectus muttered.

He slowly raised his sword. "You must be the ones we were intended to kill."

"Kill?"

Another voice suddenly came from beside him.

Catalyst appeared next to Levectus, his presence immediately accompanied by a sudden drop in temperature. Frost began forming around his body as he raised his hand, causing a massive lance of ice to materialize within seconds.

The ice lance shot forward.

Levectus immediately swung his glowing sword.

The collision produced a tremendous explosion of light and frost, sending waves of energy through the surrounding clouds. Levectus remained in place, his sword firmly holding back the attack as fragments of ice scattered around him.

He glanced toward Catalyst. "Not bad..."

Catalyst narrowed his eyes.

The atmosphere between the two sides became increasingly tense.

Levectus slowly lowered his sword before turning toward the angels behind him. Every angel had already drawn closer, their expressions changing as they realized that this was no longer an exploration.

"Prepare yourselves," Levectus commanded.

His voice echoed throughout the formation.

"They are the ones."

The angels immediately moved. Thousands of wings spread outward as the army separated into different formations, surrounding the floating individuals below from multiple directions. Their bodies descended through the clouds like a storm of white feathers, while their weapons began forming from their own bodies.

The right arms of the angels shifted.

Their flesh transformed into biological weapons, blades, bows, and other structures emerging from their limbs. Their eyes remained fixed upon the individuals below, their instincts recognizing them as enemies.

The unknown individuals also began spreading apart.

They were no longer standing together.

Olium slowly stepped forward, his eyes moving across the descending army. His expression remained calm, but the pressure surrounding him began to rise.

"Trespassing upon the land of the gods..." Olium said quietly.

His gaze locked onto Levectus.

"Only foreign creatures have ever been capable of doing that."

Levectus heard the words.

For a brief moment, neither side moved. Then Levectus raised his glowing sword toward the sky.

The thousand angels followed.

Their wings spread simultaneously, filling the heavens with white feathers as countless weapons were aimed toward the opposing forces. The entire battlefield seemed to hold its breath.

Levectus brought his sword downward.

"CHARGE!" The angels descended.

A thousand voices erupted across the sky at once.

"FEEL THE WRATH OF THE SOLDIERS OF GOD!"

The heavens shook as the angels and Pantheons collided.
