"I have nothing to say." Han Yong’s voice was steady. Even though he was angry with his wife, he was not foolish enough to fight with her in public space, especially in a hospital. He was worried that if they made too much noise, they would be kicked out of the hospital by the security. Anyway, he knew his wife’s virtue; Xu Yuanshu was someone who had a lot of thoughts, and she was never the kind of person who would sit still. "You!" Xu Yuanshu was so angry that she started to tremble. "I am your wife; how can you treat me like this? I just want to talk to you about something. Is it too much for you to listen to what I want to say to you?" Xu Yuanshu did not restrain her temper, which caused her voice to rise passionately.
She had been worried about her brother the past few days and had no idea how to deal with the mess that her brother had caused. She finally summoned the courage to discuss the matter with Han Yong and came looking for him. In Xu Yuanshu’s eyes, she had already lowered her head. What else was he dissatisfied with? Since the man was not willing to live with her like a husband, he needed to make up for the lack of love that she had suffered through these years with some other things, right? "What is going on here?" A nurse in charge walked over. She frowned at Han Yong and his family before saying, "It’s you guys again. How many times have we told you not to cause a fuss at the hospital? I am telling you all, this is your last warning or else we will have you thrown out! Don’t make any more noise; you are disturbing the rest of the other patients."
"I am sorry! I am sorry!" Han Xuehan apologised at once when she heard the nurse’s scolding. Her face flushed red in embarrassment but there was nothing else she could do. Their family had already left quite an impression on the hospital’s staff. Even if she were to defend herself, Han Xuehan was sure that the nurse might not be willing to listen to her.
She glanced at her elder brother, whose expression was not good either.
The two of them turned to look at Xu Yuanshu, whose face was filled with smugness. It seemed like she was determined to cause trouble if Han Yong did not listen to her.
Han Yong took a breath and backed down. "I understand; we will keep it in mind." He then turned to look at his wife and spoke through gritted teeth, "Come with me." given the current situation, he understood that there was no way Xu Yuanshu would leave them alone if he didn’t listen to what she had to say. Thus, even though Han Yong was angry, he could only fall back for now.
Xu Yuanshu was quite satisfied with his attitude. "Humph, it would have been better if you had listened to me earlier."
Han Yong paused in his stride but he did not say anything to Xu Yuanshu; instead, he continued to march forward.
Xu Yuanshu snorted. She was quite upset with the attitude of her husband but instead of wasting her time quarrelling with him, it was better to talk about money. Anyway, who wanted to stay here and look at Han Yong’s ugly expression? If not for the fact that her brother was in trouble, she would have never come looking for this cold-faced jerk.
Han Xuehan watched the two of them leave; she was still worried about her brother. Because from the looks of it, it seemed like Xu Yuanshu came looking for trouble.
Just as she was worried about what Xu Yuanshu was going to do, Meng Yunhan exclaimed from behind, "Aiya, it seems like Yuanshu came here to cause trouble for Ah Yong... Ziyan, what should we do? "Mom, did you call sister-in-law?" Han Ziyan glanced at her mother and questioned. She had to hand it to her mother; she was really ’wise’. Instead of causing trouble, her mother called Xu Yuanshu. This way they did not have to worry about being scolded.
"Of course." Meng Yunhan puffed out her chest. "Your grandma warned me not to cause trouble but she never said that anyone else could not do it. With Yuanshu here, can your grandma still blame me?"
She then turned to look at Han Ziyan and said, "Go and take a look at your father; see if he has woken up."
Han Ziyan’s eyes brightened when she heard her mother’s response. She hurriedly got up and then rushed inside the ward where her adoptive father was admitted.
