"What are you doing here?"
Han Yong frowned hard when she noticed his wife walking toward him. A few days ago he went to the Xu family and this woman did not even open the door for him. Even though he was begging her to return the money that he earned himself, this woman never replied and now she came looking for him. Han Yong was sure that there was something amiss and Xu Yuanshu came looking for him because she wanted something from him.
"What do you mean?" Even though Xu Yuanshu came to the hospital because of her own selfish intentions, she was quite upset when she heard Han Yong’s questioning tone. He was speaking as if she were coming here to rob him. She pulled a long face and rebuked, "Can’t I come to see my father-in-law? After all, such a thing happened to my father-in-law as his daughter-in-law; it’s my right to come and see him."
Han Yong’s lips twitched. He was so angry that he could not help but laugh. "Oh so you know that my father is your father in law? I thought that you were unaware of this little piece of information given how you refused to open the door and let me take my own money." In the past, Han Yong used to give face to Xu Yuanshu, thinking that even if the woman schemed to marry him, she was still the mother of his child but after staying with Han Ruochen, he realised that the more he suffered in silence, the more the Xu family would act up.
So he might as well show some attitude to his wife.
When Xu Yuanshu heard his remark, she could not help but flush red in shame. She raised her head and looked in the direction of the men and women who were looking at her. Even though they did not say anything, they must have created some sort of opinion about her. She was so angry that her face puffed up like a puffer fish.
"We have no money!"
"Of course, your brother went to gamble again with the money he made after sucking my blood. How foolish of me to expect that there will be money at home, right?" Han Yong fired back.
The more he thought about how his sister had to run around and beg for favours, the more he hated the Xu family. If he had not been so foolish in the past and let the Xu family do what they wanted while staying indifferent to his own family, then would his sisters be lowering their heads in front of others? It was all his fault. He was the scum! The one who wronged him was his mother, why did he turn a blind eye to his siblings?

Xu Yuanshu never expected Han Yong to not show her any face. Usually, the man hardly ever blamed her and even let her do what she wanted. The two of them were like strangers who lived together and had a child. But this was the first time Han Yong was refuting her one after another. She could not get used to it.
However, when she thought about how Han Yong had taken out three hundred yuan to pay the medical fees of his father, she sucked in a breath and swallowed all the harsh words that she wanted to say. Though the current status of the Xu family looked good, the truth was that with her brother wasting most of the money that they earned through Han Yong’s business had been used up.
