Jiang Zihan froze for a moment, as he did not expect that he would directly hand over his phone so easily.

He finally started believing in me. That’s such a great improvement!

The little "Jiang Zihan" in his mind was hugging the phone and rolling around on the floor in excitement.

Taking the phone, he naturally unlocked the password using Mo Shiyan’s birthday, examining the data clearly. Because he was too focused on it, he didn’t even notice that Mo Shiyan’s eyes deepened a little when he saw him unlocking his phone in just one try.

[Name: Jiang Zihan]

[Age: 17]

[Height: 5’10’’]

[Rank: ???]

[Strength: 3/10]

[Agility: 4/10]

[Constitution: 2/10]

[Intelligence: 5/10]

[Spirit: 9/10]

This looks so much like a game! Sometimes I actually have a hard time identifying if this world is real or not...

While examining, his gaze was fixed on the row labeled ’spirit’. The number was higher than he expected, maybe because it was his second life. Then he focused his attention on the row which wrote ’Rank’.

He tugged lightly on the corner of Mo Shiyan’s sleeve and asked, "What is this for?"

"This is the rank of your ability. From lowest to highest, the rankings are F, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS. The higher you rank, the higher your potential is. Normally, if people awaken through the Awakening Stone, the brightness of the stone’s light determines their rank. But if they are self-awakening, then people could go to the Hunter Center to determine their rank," Mo Shiyan explained.

"Then would one’s ranking increase?" Jiang Zihan asked.

Mo Shiyan thought for a moment before responding. "Usually not. But in a world with Hunters, anything might be possible. Research has shown that when a Hunter faces a life-or-death situation, there is a small possibility that their ranking could increase. However, throughout history, Hunters who had a rank increase are less than a handful."

Seeing that Jiang Zihan’s expression wasn’t right, Mo Shiyan tried to comfort him. "You don’t have to worry so much, though. For people who have self-awakened, in history, the lowest ranking they naturally awakened has been B-rank."

I know that people who self-awaken have a high potential, but the problem is that my-self awakening isn’t normal. I didn’t even know what happened when I just transmigrated!!

Jiang Zihan was crying inside him, though he still had to force a smile onto his face. When Mo Shiyan’s attention wasn’t on him, he quickly glanced at his stats.

[Name: Mo Shiyan]

[Age: 17]

[Height: 6’2’’]

[Rank: ???]

[Strength: 6/10]

[Agility: 5/10]

[Constitution: 4/10]

[Intelligence: 5/10]

[Spirit: 3/10]

Jiang Zihan: "...?!!"

That was such a big difference...

But based on these stats, how would he be bullied by the original owner?

He felt a little confused, but didn’t think too much about it.

"Zihan, let’s continue," Mo Shiyan called his name, getting him prepared for another combat.

"Coming!"

Jiang Zihan did not know how the day ended. He just knew that by the end of the day, he was lying on the floor, unable to move even a finger.

"Get on my back. I’ll carry you home," Mo Shiyan said as he bent down in front of him.

"No need—" Jiang Zihan waved his hands, stepping back.

"Get on," he repeated. This time, his voice sounded a bit more demanding.

Jiang Zihan had no choice but to climb on his back. As he was smelling the light scent of rose coming from the back of Mo Shiyan’s neck, he felt a sense of security and slowly fell into sleep.

When he groggily opened his eyes, he found out that he was already back in his bedroom. The next moment, his nose moved a little as he smelled the aroma of freshly cooked food around the room. He tried to sit up from bed, but suddenly felt that every muscle in his body was aching.

Ouch!

Just at this time, he heard the sound of the doorknob turning. He instinctively looked up and noticed that it was Mo Shiyan.

"Shiyan, thank you for bringing me home," Jiang Zihan said with a soft smile, though it looked a bit weak.

Mo Shiyan frowned a little as he quickly walked up. He placed the food down on the table and gently helped him sit back up. Then he handed Jiang Zihan a pair of chopsticks. "Try it out."

Jiang Zihan scanned through the food, and his eyes immediately lit up when he saw a plate of fried chicken. He wanted to grab a piece when that dish suddenly disappeared in front of him.

Jiang Zihan: "...?"

He lifted his head and noticed that it was Mo Shiyan who grabbed the plate away. He reached, trying to grab it from his hands, but Mo Shiyan moved the plate even further.

"Mo Shiyan!"

"You can’t eat this. I brought it into the room with the other dishes by mistake," he explained calmly as he placed the plate of fresh vegetables in front of him.

Jiang Zihan was crying inside of him as he watched the fried chicken disappear in his sight. However, when he saw Mo Shiyan staring at him, he forced himself to pick up a slice of bitter melon and placed it in his mouth after closing his eyes.

The bitterness spread in his mouth, stimulating his taste buds. Jiang Zihan immediately wanted to spit it out when Mo Shiyan suddenly pressed a hand on his lips, not allowing him to do so. His eyes immediately widened as he stared at him with complaint. In the end, he had no other way but to swallow it.

When Mo Shiyan finally let go of him, he took a deep breath, thinking that the nightmare was finally over. However, the next second, Mo Shiyan placed the whole plate in front of him.

"Eat it all," he ordered.

Jiang Zihan: "..."

Is he really not taking revenge on me?

By the time Jiang Zihan finally finished the plate of bitter melon, it felt as though an entire century had passed.
