Time was getting closer. They were getting nearer and nearer to the day when they would finally expand their business outwards, into the rest of the Royal Continent, towards the Elite Society of humans.

Michael had to thank his hardworking friends. Castelle made sure that everything was planned properly, making sure that the gears were oiled and that every process was smooth.

Kong and the other Engineers had also made sure to get their products ready. Both the phones, automobiles, and the racing circuit were just about ready to be deployed.

"Young Master, we have already sent our construction crew over towards their designated locations. One over towards our new Headquarters, and one off-site for the creation of the racing circuit."

Elite Society wasn’t like the other territories in the Royal Continent. It wasn’t just a town or a city or a metropolis. It was a collection of cities that were all bunched up together in a crowd.

After all, that was just how rich people liked to operate. They didn’t want to live amongst the other people. They wanted their own place. Their very own estate. That’s why from up above, it would look like the territories of the Elite Society were very far away from each other with a lot of empty spaces.

But in truth, they were bunched up in a tight territory. Their own estates just had a lot of open spaces, their own backyards, their own forests because they could afford to do so.

But if one were to look at it from the perspective of territories, one would see that an entire space actually had four to five organizations or families neighboring each other.

This was why Elite Society was so hard to get into. They barely had enough space for themselves. They didn’t want to recruit other people because it would only limit their own space, thereby making it harder on everyone else.

Michael, even though they had just advanced to the Upper Echelon ranks, still wouldn’t have been able to purchase land in the Elite Society. The only way that he had land was through the Sanctum Duels that he had initiated with the other companies.

Without those prizes, he wouldn’t have been able to advance to the Elite Society.

Now, they had a prime location for their opening ceremony. The Ease of Vindication company had a territory smack dab in the middle of a lot of companies and territories which were crucial and influential in the Elite Society.

This would allow them to have the most amount of reach for their products.

As for their racing circuit, they were lucky that the Western Pole company had a few suitable empty plots of lands where Reborn could create racing circuits without much problem.

"Good, thank you, Castelle."

The CEO maid bowed towards Michael. "My pleasure, Young Master."

"Oh, and do you know where Yuna went?"

"She’s waiting for you at your office," Castelle said with a smile. "I shall be procuring the suit and dress that you both will wear for the opening ceremony."

"I haven’t even asked her to go with me to the Soiree yet," he said to her, blushing.

Castelle smiled. "Then, young master, you better get going and ask her already."

...

...

...

Michael took a deep breath as he knocked on the door.

On the other side of the room, he heard Yuna say: "Why are you knocking? This is your office, you know."

"Oh, right...," Michael said as he opened the door. "... how have you been?"

Yuna had her hands behind her back, leaning against the wall behind her. "Busy. Just like you. I haven’t been slacking on my training too, you know."

Michael noticed that she was wearing her rapier on her waist. It seemed that she had once again taken up training with her weapon. Before, she was just focusing on her Diplomat skills.

"Has anything changed?" he asked her.

Yuna smiled. "Nothing. I just don’t want you to leave me behind. "I’ve been seeing you visit the Heavenly Swordmistress a couple of times now. And I could tell that you’re working hard on your own swordstyle. And I was afraid that you won’t need me anymore if I couldn’t keep up with you."

"What? I’d never do that," he said, trying his best to make her truly see that he was telling the truth.

"I know," Yuna grinned. "It’s just something that I’m doing for myself."

Michael was at a loss for words for a few seconds, before Yuna spoke up once again.

"You were about to ask me something, aren’t you?"

"Ah... right... Yuna, will you go with me to the inaugural party of Reborn?"

Yuna walked up to him and smiled. "It’s a date then!"

...

...

...

Michael spent the next few days picking out his best suit. He just couldn’t decide which of it would make him look best. Should he go with the classic navy blue, or should he go with something a little more striking with the black and white?

If any other people heard about his worries, they would absolutely freak out.

Other CEOs and owners would be panicked at the upcoming party that would welcome Reborn to the Elite Society. It was a momentous occasion that would decide whether their company would have a good future in the Upper Queens region.

And yet, Michael was worrying about which tie would fit well with his suit.

But in truth, Michael just had a lot of trust with his allies. Castelle and Sheina were better at organizing the little things. Kong knew best when it came to construction. And the Shadow Orcs were making sure their defensive preparations were ready during the day.

Michael was basically just the figurehead of the company. His allies were the ones doing the hard work.

And finally, a few days later, the day of the Soiree had finally come.

Michael and the rest of the Rebornian crew teleported over to their new headquarters in the Elite Society.
