Invitations were given out to the rest of the Elite Society, urging them to join Reborn for their inaugural ceremony.

A soiree for them to get to know each other, since they’d be neighbors now, after all.

Even those who did not like Reborn would be forced to go to the party. After all, this would be attended by most of the elites, all the big market names of the Royal Continent. There were dukes and duchesses, viscounts, barons, and other royals.

They had to go the party if they didn’t want to miss out on this opportunity.

There were also some people who were just curious about Reborn. They’ve been hearing rumors about their illustrious leader who was said to be the youngest Nascent Spirit cultivator, and about their innovative technology as well.

This party would be the deciding factor whether those rumors were to be believed.

And of course, all the other Upper Echelons and even the Conglomerates would show their presence into this Soiree.

They may not send out their leader, but the heirs would definitely be attending.

This would include Worcester Oscorpe. The very person who was so adamant in keeping the Reborn company in the Lower Echelons. The man who had schemed against them to try and take the Chasm away from their very hands.

And with them, of course, were the prototypes and the imitations of automobiles that they have created using their own materials.

Reborn was trying to take back ownership of the automobile. This would be the other companies’ last chance to take that away and let their own names be marked onto the people’s minds whenever they think of automobiles.

And the only way to do that was through the so-called racing circuit that Reborn had created.

It would be the finale to the Soiree.

And so, with these momentous events in place, people began to enter into the Rebornian territory, which they had wrested away from the hands of the Ease of Vindication company.

Immediately, the elites of society were awed as they saw a giant mansion of steel right in front of them. It was unlike anything they had ever seen. Glass panels lined the entire thing from all four walls, making it look extremely exotic.

And for elites, the more exotic one was, the more valuable it was.

"Wow... I never knew the Reborn company was good at constructing buildings."

"Do they take commission? Maybe I shall have them build my fifth vacation home, hahahaha."

"Wait, I visited this place one and a half weeks ago. And they didn’t have this kind of thing before..."

"Are you telling me they built this gigantic palace of glass in just a matter of a few days? That seems impossible, no? And with magic gone, it just seems like that’s not feasible."

"But it’s true..."

The new Rebornian mansion had a roadway entrance where automobile drives could drop off their passengers in the entrance.

"Excuse me, where can we park?"

"Oh, let me take care of it, madam," said a Satyr. "We can park it for you."

"Oh, really? Hahaha, how nice! How much does it cost?"

"It’s free of charge. It’s called a valet service, madam. And it is given to all guests of Reborn. Do not worry, we will have the car ready for you when you exit."

Immediately, the elites of society were impressed with the kind of convenience and luxury that the Reborn company provided. They’d never been serviced like this before.

At least, until they entered into the mansion itself.

Chandeliers illuminated everything from the ceiling. It stayed bright, never flickering unlike the candlelight that these people were used to.

And all over the walls, instead of paintings, there were large screens which showed a video presentation about Reborn. It showed all of their structures back in the Parched Lands, as well as all of the smiles that each citizen had as they lived their normal lives.

These elites couldn’t hide their shock as gasps exhaled out of them. They knew these weren’t some kind of moving painting caused by magic. After all, magic was gone!

It also wasn’t made by Aubility Power, otherwise they would have sensed it themselves. It was all made from those flickering lights!

"What are these technologies!?"

"Moving pictures... and it also has sounds, as if the people in the painting are actually speaking to us!"

"And look at that! That thing is blowing cold air down into us! Amazing! I wondered how a mansion as enclosed as this could keep the inside cool."

"Have you been to the latrines?! Water would flow when you get your hands near that metal spout!"

Michael pulled out all of the stops. He used every piece of technology present in the Nation of Reborn and transported them here in the Elite Society.

From fridges, to lightbulbs, to television screens... everything.

And of course, each one of them had the symbol ’R’ engraved on its surface, making sure that the brand of Reborn would be recognizable along with the technology.

"Stupendous! I would like to have this in my own mansion!"

"Why haven’t we seen this on the market yet? I would have bought one for myself!"

"Does the Reborn company sell this stuff? I’ve heard they have good technology, but I didn’t think it would be this advanced!"

Castelle could feel the public perception of Reborn skyrocket within the Elite Society. They were amazed at everything Reborn had to offer, and were curious to see if there were more things they hadn’t seen.

People crowded the television screens on the walls. It gave them a glimpse of the Nation of Reborn. A glimpse of the world outside their own. And they want to have it too!

...

...

...

"Young Master," Castelle said from beyond the door. "Your guests are waiting for you. They have expressed interest in striking a deal with Reborn."

Michael took a deep breath as he adjusted his tie one last time. "Don’t tell Yuna yet. I haven’t finished—"

As he turned around, he saw Yuna, standing there with a beautiful yellow dross like that of the sun itself.
