Chapter 1032 50 millions worth
Chapter 1032 50 millions worth
All in all, Michael was okay with their plan. There were definitely better uses for the Shadow Orcs, but they had to make do with what they had.
“Where would we place our factory then?”
Of course, it had to be near New Sparta. Ideally, within a couple of kilometers from the main territory.
He wanted to build it inside New Sparta itself, but he knew that that was not allowed. Only Beastfolks could establish their own territory there.
However, that didn’t mean that human companies could simply build whatever they wanted around New Sparta. If that were true, then there would have been a new city established just beside it.
There were a lot of rules and regulations regarding that. Which thankfully, was something that Yuna was willing to take care of.
“I’ll deal with the real estate,” she said. “Building a company factory near New Sparta is hard, but not impossible. We’ll need the approval of the five Beastfolk races.”
For most companies, this little hurdle would be impossible to cross. But for Michael, he had already crossed it long ago.
For the Mermen race, he could simply ask Princess Octavia. For the Werewolves, he had Chief Lupan as an ally. For the Elves, he had Lady Farren. For the Vampires, he had Lilith the Royalblood. And finally for the Draconians, he had Romeo Flameheart.
Not a lot of people had that much connection with the Beastfolks. Perhaps, only the large organizations and the Conglomerates could match him with that. And for them, it was more because of their reputation, not their actual connection with the Beastfolk like he did.
“Don’t worry. I’ll handle it,” Yuna said with a smile. “Just make sure to have my ice cream ready after.”
“Thanks. I wonder what I’d do without you,” he replied.
Yuna playfully punched his shoulder, before turning away with rosy red cheeks.
And with the factory real estate out of the way, the next thing they had to plan was the actual factory itself.
He talked down to his shadow, and a few seconds later, a Yellow Mankey demi-human wearing a sharp, buttoned up white shirt and a yellow hard hat appeared in the meeting.
It was Kong, the Chief Engineer of Reborn.
“What can I be of service, boss?”
Michael told him about their automobile factory plans, and he immediately nodded with confidence.
“That will be easy to plan, boss. We’ve built a ton of factories back in the Nation of Reborn so we’ll just have to repeat that in New Sparta,” Kong replied.
Just as expected, Kong was able to produce a construction-ready blueprint without much trouble.
He even ‘dumbed’ it down for the Shadow Orcs to easily understand. Narito and Sasuki weren’t that unfamiliar with construction, but back in their tribes pre-Reborn, they were only building wooden stakes around their villages. So, this would be their first time building with concrete.
“BU TO TO! I shall bring the best construction wORCers for this mission, Lord Michael!”
“RAH TA TA! This will be easy!”
Of course, despite their confidence, Michael knew that they couldn’t do it alone. He had Kong and some Engineers come with the Orcs to guide them along the way.
Then, with a wink, Yuna also left to deal with the construction permits for the factory.
Sheina and Castelle both began working on the logistics of the factory as well. They had to deliver the materials for the automobiles in advance before they even constructed the factory.
Michael, on the other hand, transported himself to New Sparta. Specifically, over towards the Thunderfoot Company where he could exchange his wealth into GodForge pieces.
Once he was there, he found himself yet again in the midst of a large line of customers.
It looked like business was booming for the Thunderfoots. Now that they had their Key back, they could produce GodForge pieces for as long as they had Soo drops.
He scanned the room, before eventually seeing the familiar butler in the distance.
He waved his hand and caught Jasper’s attention.
“Lord Keo!”
He greeted the butler, who contrary to his expectations, looked a little bit rattled and stressed. Were they that busy?
“What can I do for you?” Jasper asked.
“I’m just here to buy some GodForge pieces. You still have a lot, right?”
Jasper nodded. “Of course, of course! Thanks to you, we have upped our production of GodForge pieces tremendously. The black shadow cube replacements have been a game changer!”
In exchange for a 20% discount on all of his purchases, he promised to give them as much shadow clone cubes as they needed.
And it looked like they were putting it to good use.
“You sure you don’t have any problems with the GodForge pieces?”
He asked because Jasper didn’t really look all that happy. He looked really worried about something.
“Yes, Lord Keo.”
“Okay. Can I buy 50 million Sand Dollars worth of GodForge pieces?”
Jasper’s eyes widened, before gulping. “…sure… sure 50 million. We can definitely prepare that for you…”
As the butler led Michael back to their warehouse, he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of business Keo and the Reborn company was doing that they were able to procure that much money.
He learned not to underestimate them after they found their Key. But it seemed that he was still not treating them as the big shot that they actually were.
Michael and Jasper entered into the warehouse, which was very different from the warehouse he’d been in before.
Instead of mounds, now there were thousands of black, tenebrous cubes on the ground.
After a few minutes of harvesting, Jasper was able to get tons worth of GodForge pieces.
“I have received your payment, Lord Keo. Here’s 6000 kilograms of GodForge pieces,” Jasper said.
Michael’s eyes widened. That 20% bonus was really a tremendous boon!
“Oh by the way, how’s Jot’un?” he asked.
Jasper pursed his lips. “The Young Master is currently in deep training. The Patriarch wanted him to become as strong as possible in case another robbery would take place.”
