Chapter 1031 Plans for factory
Michael stared at the pile of Sand Dollars in front of him.
It was a literal mound, similar to that of a Draconian treasure. He could even swim around it if he wanted to.
50,000,000 Sand Dollars.
This was the most amount of money he’d ever received.
This was equivalent to 5000 Soo drops, or 5000 Mini Drones, or 5000 kilograms of GodForge pieces. He immediately began to think about what to purchase with this new influx of money.
He could simply use them for Mini Drones, which would boost his personal prowess that much more potent. But to be honest, he wasn’t really thrilled about using his money this way.
He already had 1600 Mini Drones at his disposal. Adding 5000 more wouldn’t really add that much more power for himself.
After all, the Mini Drones scale with his own strength. Meaning that his drones were only really effective against Body Formation cultivators.
Higher-levelled Nascent Spirit Maugnetics were way too powerful for them to be fatally affected by Unity Guns. Even if he threw ten thousand Mini Drones their way, he had a feeling that they’d all be destroyed without much problem.
Of course, he could use the Mini Drones to purchase something in the Emporium, but that wasn’t a good idea either.
His problem wasn’t really a lack of strength. He had no plans of fighting a true Nascent Spirit powerhouse at the moment.
He was more concerned about progressing the Nation of Reborn. With a more established company business, he’d earn more money. And with more money, he could empower his allies more. And with empowered allies, he could make his company even more successful.
So right now, he was thinking about using his new money for GodForge pieces.
His Shadow Orcs still needed new ones to capitalize on their Stronghold experience.
But of course, he wanted to ask for a second opinion.
He teleported to the Nation of Reborn and gathered his closest allies.
Yuna, Sheina, Castelle, and the Orc Chieftains appeared around a table in front of him.
He told them about the money situation and where to best use it.
“Narito, Sasuki. How much GodForge pieces do you guys need to advance in the next stages?”
“BU TO TO! Lord Michael, we are honored to receive your gift!” Narito said.
“RAH TA TA! In total, we would need 1638 kilograms of GodForge in total, sir!”
They gave him the breakdown. The two Chiefs were currently at the 3rd stage and had enough experience to go to the 4th. They would both need 4 kilos to do that.
Then, the ten Elite Penumbras could advance to the 3rd stage from the 2nd stage, with each of them needing three kilos for a total of thirty.
For the High Penumbras, the three hundred Orcs who first awakened could now advance to the second stage after that latest Stronghold invasion. That equalled 600 kilos.
But during that invasion, another 1000 Orcs became skilled enough to be chosen by a GodForge piece. However, their lack of it prevented them from becoming a Maugnetic.
So all in all, they would need 1638 kilos of GodForge to completely level up the Shadow Orcs into the next level.
This was a sizable chunk. But thankfully, his pockets were even more chunkier now.
He actually had more than 3,300 kilos of GodForge pieces left to spend.
“Young Master, I have a suggestion,” Castelle said as she raised her hand.
“What is it?”
“Would it be possible for the Shadow Orcs to raid another Stronghold?”
Castelle’s suggestion shocked everyone in the room. Even the Orc Chieftains, who were the hungriest when it came to invading Ersatz Stronghold, were a little bit awkward with her suggestion.
“It’s all about Maugnetics,” she added. “Young Master, having 500 more Maugnetics will allow us to increase our production by approximately 127%. And after basing it off from the progression of the Shadow Orcs, it’s more than possible for them to have 500 more Orcs Maugnetics after the next Stronghold invasion.”
She laid out the numbers as her reasoning.
Michael’s eyebrows raised, intrigued with her suggestion. “You’re planning on using the Shadow Orcs for more construction work?”
Castelle nodded. “As we all saw earlier, there is a lot of demand for automobiles. However, we do not have that much supply.
Our factories back in the Nation of Reborn are doing overtime, but they could barely keep up with the demands of the Kings region and every other territory in the Lower Queens region. Adding the needs of New Sparta will completely overwork our factories.
Therefore, it is only reasonable that we create an entirely new factory that is entirely for New Sparta’s needs.”
Michael nodded. “And if the Shadow Orcs construct this new factory, we can start producing automobiles in record time.”
Castelle smiled. “Yes, Young Master. I could even go ahead and say that we should have Shadow Orcs start helping the factory themselves!”
Narito and Sasuki started at Castelle’s suggestion. They weren’t entirely comfortable with the fact that their Orcs were being treated as an all-around worker. They were supposed to be assassins!
However, they couldn’t voice out their disagreement. After all, they knew just how important those factories were going to be.
If they were able to sell more cars, then they’d have more money to fund more Orc Maugnetics.
“… bu to to… for Reborn. For Reborn, we are willing to do as Miss Castelle said.”
“… rah ta ta… but please do not expect us to be skilled at this craft.”
Logically, it worked. Maugnetics were simply far more powerful than a normal human. They could literally bend reality to their whims.
A really skilled craftsman could forge by hammering a metal a thousand times.
But Maugnetic Shadow Orcs could simply use their Aubility Power to mold metals as easily as they would a normal shadow.
Of course, they couldn’t do the really technical stuff that a master craftsman could do. But they could definitely do the menial stuff and speed up the entire process.
