The Conglomerate representatives’ eyes widened. Secretary? A talent like this was actually being treated only as a secretary?

The Oscorpe representative immediately bowed at Sheina. “Miss Sheina, the Oscorpe Conglomerate is willing to give you a much better ranking in our organization. You won’t need to be just a mere secretary.”
In fact, each of the Conglomerates wanted to recruit Sheina from the very start. This was not their original intention in coming here, but the Oscorpe representative saw an ‘opening’ and immediately offered something ‘alluring’ for the demi-human.

“I’m very flattered. But I am proud and content with being Lord Michael’s secretary. It is the most fulfilling thing anyone can do, and I would never exchange that for anything in the world.
Never disrespect him like that again. Got it?”
Upon her last words, a subtle shockwave emanated out of her body, reaching the Conglomerate representatives in an instant.
They suddenly felt their vision darken, their body starting to become numb to the point where they couldn’t even feel their own legs.
They couldn’t even scream out in horror! It was as if their souls were drowning in an endless abyss, completely cut off from the physical world!
Thankfully for them, this only lasted for an instant.
One moment they were gone, and the next, they found themselves staring at the same demi-human in front of them.
Instead now, there was a genuine smile on her face. None of the darkness she displayed was present in her countenance—as if it never existed in the first place.
“Now, shall we get on to business?” she asked them.
The Conglomerate representatives swallowed their spittle, before nervously nodding.
The first to speak up was the Sinclair representative. “Miss Sheina, we apologize for the disrespect earlier. However, can we speak to your leader, Lord Michael?”
She shook her head. “Lord Michael is currently busy. If you have any business with him, you can talk to me about it.”
The Conglomerates thought they would finally get to see the elusive leader of Reborn. But it was to no avail.
They would have never thought that he was currently among the Rebornians in the arena watching the current spectacle.
“Alright… please tell him about our intention to purchase all the automobiles in your possession.”
“That is rude,” said the Vanderbilt representative. “We have yet to present our offers as well.”
“I agree,” said the Goldstone representative. “Miss Sheina. We are willing to pay 10,000,000 Sand Dollars for the rights to buy your automobiles. And we’ll pay 100,000 Sand Dollars for each vehicle you can produce.”
Basically, this meant that they were going to pay a million Sand Dollars in exchange for being the only organization allowed to purchase automobiles for them.
It was a monopoly. A ruthless first move. These Conglomerates didn’t get to their position by being nice.
And if it were any other company, they might have gotten allured by the offer. After all, ten million Sand Dollars was life-changing money in the Lower Queens region.
Considering the fact that the automobiles were previously purchased with only gold coins, the fact that they were willing to buy it with Sand Dollars also meant that they were valuing the product a lot more than before.
But Michael wasn’t impressed. Sheina knew that.
“I apologize, but Lord Michael is not in line with that contract.”
The other Conglomerates now immediately threw out their own offers.
But just like the first one, they also only talked about the exclusive rights for the automobiles. They wanted to be the only one able to buy it.
This goes against Michael’s vision of automobiles becoming ubiquitous in the world.
“The Reborn company isn’t willing to give up the buying rights for the automobile. He has no plans to do that now or in the future,” Sheina said with a smile. The Vanderbilt representatives raised his hand. “We would like to purchase a hundred thousand automobiles at 100,000 Sand Dollars each.”
Now, this was alluring. Michael wanted to accept that immediately.
But unfortunately, they didn’t have enough units available for that. Especially considering that the other Conglomerates would surely order the same amount.
And if he only fulfilled the orders for one Conglomerate, then that would leave a sour taste on the others.
Sheina pursed her lips. “Unfortunately, we have a purchase limit at this moment.”
“How many?”
“One hundred,” she replied.
“Deal,” said the Vanderbilt representative.
After this, the other Conglomerates also raised their hand and put in their orders.
