Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng were indeed planning to go to the mall to buy some clothes because it was time for a seasonal change, and they needed to get some seasonal outfits.

The adults were fine as they had old clothes, but Little Reunion didn’t have any seasonal clothes. So, when they arrived at the mall, they headed straight to the children’s store.

At first, they went into a few stores, but the clothes were all for older kids. Later, Jiang Xue found a store specifically selling baby clothes.

Upon entering the store and seeing that the quality of the clothes was good, Jiang Xue bought two sets for the child. After buying the clothes, she saw that there were also shoes for sale, so she bought two pairs of shoes.

Having bought the clothes, the group strolled around other areas to purchase some household items. Fortunately, Huo Cong was there to help; otherwise, with so many things, the couple would have had to carry the child, which would have been really inconvenient.

After buying everything and realizing it was getting late, plus Huo Cong had been with them for most of the day, Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng decided to eat out.

Jiang Xue wasn’t familiar with Beijing, and neither was Mu Qiancheng. Although he studied here, his limited time out meant he wasn’t sure where the good food places were.

So, Mu Qiancheng took out his phone and called Gong Bei. When Gong Bei heard that Jiang Xue was there, he got excited and said, "Qiancheng, that’s not fair of you, not to mention that sister-in-law is in town. My girlfriend Yuning has said several times that she wanted to have a meal with her."

"Wait there, I’ll come find you guys and take you to eat something delicious." After saying that, Gong Bei hung up and headed over with his girlfriend Wang Yuning to find Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue.

"Xue’er, Gong Bei and his girlfriend are coming over soon to take us out for some good food," said Mu Qiancheng.

Upon hearing that Mu Qiancheng’s friends were coming, Huo Cong felt it wouldn’t be appropriate to tag along, so he said, "Boss, since you have plans with friends, I won’t intrude."

"Ah Cong, what are you saying? You’re also my friend. It’s just a meal, not something else," Mu Qiancheng replied.

"Exactly, Ah Cong, come along. The more, the merrier," Jiang Xue added.

Seeing Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng both inviting him, Huo Cong reluctantly stayed. Shortly after, Gong Bei arrived, accompanied by Wang Yuning.

Wang Yuning was very happy to see Jiang Xue. When Gong Bei had mentioned it before, she thought he was joking.

Now that she saw Jiang Xue, she finally believed Gong Bei’s words.

"Sister-in-law, Little Reunion has grown so big!" After saying a few words with Jiang Xue, Wang Yuning’s gaze fell on Little Reunion.

She had seen Little Reunion before, but that was months ago.

"Yes!" Jiang Xue smiled and said to Little Reunion, "Sweetheart, say hello to Auntie!"

Upon hearing Jiang Xue, Little Reunion looked at Wang Yuning and softly said, "Hello, Auntie!"

Wang Yuning became even happier, gently pinching Little Reunion’s soft cheeks, and said with a smile, "Little Reunion is so well-behaved! Auntie didn’t bring you a gift today, but next time I’ll make it up to you, okay?"

"Thank you, Auntie!" Little Reunion thanked her and then turned his gaze to Gong Bei. By this time, Gong Bei had already gotten to know Huo Cong. Upon learning he was Mu Qiancheng’s former comrade, his attitude warmed up significantly.
