As he was eating, Little Reunion said to him, "Daddy, Baby wants to play."

Actually, he didn’t want to delay Mu Qiancheng’s meal. After all, holding him while eating wasn’t so convenient.

Mu Qiancheng didn’t know what Little Reunion was thinking in his heart, seeing that he didn’t want to be held and wanted to play, he just put him down and let him play by himself.

As soon as his feet touched the ground, Little Reunion walked towards the living room in small steps. Over in the living room, there’s a carpet, making it easier for him to sit down and play.

Although Mu Qiancheng had put his son down, he kept watching him until he safely reached the living room and sat down on the carpet, only then did he feel relieved to eat.

Jiang Xue actually finished eating first, but she didn’t leave immediately; instead, she sat beside Mu Qiancheng. Only after he finished eating did she start cleaning up.

While Jiang Xue was cleaning up, Mu Qiancheng also helped carry the dishes to the kitchen. Then, the two of them, one washed dishes, the other scrubbed the pot.

After finishing, they returned to the living room to play with their son. The family of three played for over an hour until they were somewhat tired, then went to their room to shower and sleep.

Because Little Reunion had slept a lot in the afternoon, he didn’t feel sleepy at all lying in bed. He rolled from one end of the bed to the other, then back again.

Seeing his son full of energy, Mu Qiancheng took out a puzzle for him to work on, while he cuddled Jiang Xue and chatted beside him.

The two chatted away, and before they knew it, time had passed. By the time Little Reunion finished the puzzle, two hours had gone by.

Seeing it was getting late, the family of three finally turned off the lights to sleep. The next morning, when he woke up, Mu Qiancheng went out for a run and bought groceries and breakfast.

When Jiang Xue and Little Reunion woke up, it was just time for breakfast. After breakfast, seeing the weather was nice, Jiang Xue decided to take her son out for a walk.

Previously, Little Reunion had stayed indoors for too long and hadn’t seen the sunlight outside. Now that Mu Qiancheng had free time, and the sun outside wasn’t too harsh, it was perfect for going out and catching some rays, maybe even strolling down the street.

When the family of three went out, they saw Huo Cong standing outside the community. Upon seeing Huo Cong, Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng immediately greeted him.

Mu Qiancheng said to Huo Cong, "Ah Cong, I’m free these days, you can go have some fun yourself, it won’t be too late to come back to protect your sister-in-law when I go to school."

"Sure!" Huo Cong nodded, but didn’t leave immediately, instead looked at Little Reunion with surprise. If he remembered correctly, Little Reunion hadn’t been by Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng’s side earlier. How come after just one night, there was a little child?

"Little Reunion, do you still recognize Uncle?" Huo Cong asked Little Reunion with a smile.

"Hello, Uncle Huo!" Little Reunion called out in a childish voice, which delighted Huo Cong. Then he reached out his hand and said, "Little Reunion, shall Uncle hold you for a while?"

However, Little Reunion shook his head in refusal. He hadn’t had enough of Daddy’s embrace; he didn’t want anyone else to hold him.

With Little Reunion unwilling, Huo Cong had no choice but to withdraw his hand, then looked at the family of three and said, "Boss, sister-in-law, are you planning to go shopping?"

"Yes!" Jiang Xue nodded with a smile, then Huo Cong added, "I happen to be free, I’ll go with you guys and can help carry things."
