After lying on the bed for more than half an hour, Jiang Xue’s energy had mostly recovered. So she got up from the bed and went to the kitchen to help out.

Seeing Jiang Xue come out, Mu Qiancheng asked with a smile, "Xue’er, how are you feeling, are you okay?"

Jiang Xue knew exactly what Mu Qiancheng was asking about, so she glared at him and said, "Do you want to try it out?"

"I’d love to!" Mu Qiancheng said jokingly. He felt he could never be like Jiang Xue, unable to get out of bed, since he trained every day.

"Okay, I’m waiting!" Mu Qiancheng laughed and replied. At that moment, he didn’t take Jiang Xue’s words seriously at all, which resulted in his mood being down when that day finally arrived.

Working together, Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng quickly made dinner, including a special meal for Little Reunion.

Once everything was ready, Jiang Xue went to the room to check if Little Reunion was awake. Just as she walked in, she saw Little Reunion about to climb down from the bed.

Seeing her son’s actions, Jiang Xue was startled, quickly stepped forward, grabbed his clothes, and said, "Son, why didn’t you call for mom when you woke up!"

Little Reunion glanced at Jiang Xue and then shifted uncomfortably. Jiang Xue put him down, reached out to hug him, but Little Reunion didn’t want her hug at all, instead he toddled out on his own.

Jiang Xue watched, smiled, and then followed Little Reunion out of the room. As soon as he got out, Mu Qiancheng saw him, came over, picked him up, and said, "Son, you’re awake!"

Little Reunion nodded, looked toward the dining table, and seeing the dishes already laid out, immediately said, "Dad, baby is hungry."

"Then let’s go eat." Mu Qiancheng said while carrying Little Reunion towards the dining table. Jiang Xue followed behind, sat down at the table, and placed Little Reunion’s meal in front of Mu Qiancheng, letting him feed their son.

But before Mu Qiancheng could start feeding, Little Reunion picked up the spoon himself and began eating. Mu Qiancheng could only abandon the idea of feeding him, watched his son eat, and kept reminding him to slow down.

Little Reunion was indeed very hungry, as he finished a whole bowl of rice porridge. Seeing the child was full, Mu Qiancheng wiped his mouth, and then began eating himself.
