"So that guy Edrin got something from his elder brother and he is planning to use that item against me during the spar?"

Alicia nodded and spoke in a low voice.

"My brother doesn’t know what kind of item that is, so be careful. Or, to be on the safe side, just deny it if he challenges you."

William’s lips curled upward slightly, and he shook his head.

"Why deny the challenge?" He spoke with a grin. "It’s a perfect opportunity to beat the sh*t out of that guy in front of everyone."

Alicia was stunned when she heard William’s words and spoke.

"Did you even hear what I said?"

Before William could respond, Liam spoke first.

"Don’t worry. No matter what that guy uses, it’s impossible for him to beat William."

"Huh?" Alicia was even more baffled upon hearing Liam, feeling he was acting differently than usual.

"Aren’t you afraid he will be beaten by that guy?"

A look of disdain couldn’t help but flash in Liam’s eyes, and he spoke with a sneer.

"If that guy even manages to injure him in the slightest, I will eat dogshit."

Among everyone present, Liam was the only one who knew just how strong William was.

After seeing how much his own strength had increased after receiving the Ruinborn Vampire Bloodline, he had no doubt there was no one in the class who could beat William.

Alicia looked at Liam weirdly before taking a step back, feeling his mental state wasn’t right.

After all, who in their right mind would speak about eating dogshit?

William also looked at Liam strangely and, for a moment, even thought about getting injured on his own initiative so that he could make him eat dogshit.

Feeling their weird gazes, Liam coughed lightly as he felt he might have spoken too much just now.

’Damn it, why am I speaking like this...’ He couldn’t help but curse inwardly, glancing at his newly gained title. ’Is it because of this damn title that I am subconsciously feeling so much confidence in him?’

Just as he was thinking, more students started to appear.

William looked ahead and saw a group of commoner students, looking somewhat excited and nervous at the same time, as it was the first combat class and they did not know what to expect.

There were not only students from their Class A, but even students from other classes who were also first-year students.

Unlike other classes, the combat class was jointly held, gathering all the first-year students.

It was also the reason Alicia, who wasn’t part of Class A, was here as well.

Among the group of commoners that entered, most of them were from different classes, with some of them belonging to Class A.

William even saw Sophia and Brown among them.

’I should announce information about my faction at the end of the class today,’ He thought before silently looking away.

The students coming in also noticed William, Alicia, and Liam, who were present in the vast training room.

The cafeteria incident had already spread throughout the academy, so everyone recognized them, especially William and Liam, who were the main people involved.

Seeing them, they couldn’t help but talk about what happened yesterday.

With their excellent hearing, William and the others could hear what they were talking about but didn’t care much about it.

As time passed, more and more students began to appear, and soon, there were over 200 students present in the training arena.

Edrin, Maya, and the other nobles had also arrived some time ago, and when they heard people talking about the cafeteria incident, their expressions were not very good.

Especially Edrin’s, who glared at William with hate-filled eyes.

William completely ignored his impotent rage and did not even bother to give him a glance.

Soon, almost all the students were gathered, and Professor Norman entered the training arena.

He glanced at the students present for a brief moment before walking over to the fighting ring in the center.

"I don’t know how other professors of the academy teach in combat class, but I am not someone who will let you swing your weapons for hours and practice your battle arts alone before giving you guidance about how to use them..." Professor Norman spoke in a flat voice.

"Since it’s a combat class, everything that you learn, you will learn through actual combat. Whether it’s your battle arts, skills, or utilization of your trait... I want you all to use them in actual combat instead of just standing in a corner and practicing alone."

The students remained silent at Norman’s words, listening carefully.

Norman’s gaze swept through the group of students, and his eyes couldn’t help but twitch slightly when he noticed William yawning as if he was feeling sleepy because of a boring speech.

William noticed Norman’s gaze on him and instantly closed his mouth, looking serious as if he was listening to everything carefully.

Although Norman had the urge to give him a slap after seeing his behavior, he held back and took a deep breath.

"Alright, for the starter, I need two students..." Norman looked at the students. "Is there anyone who wants to come up and start the class?"

As soon as his words fell, a student raised his hand.

"Professor, me."

When students saw the person who raised his hand, their expressions changed slightly.

"He is the one, right?"

"Yeah, he must be thinking about taking revenge for yesterday."

"It depends on whether he even has the ability to take revenge."

Norman looked at the student who had raised his hand and recognized him as one of the students of his own Class A.

"Zion, right..." Norman nodded and signaled him to come up to the ring.

Zion walked towards the ring and glanced at Liam with a provocative look.

"It seems someone wants to challenge you." William chuckled when he saw this.

"It’s good..." Liam said with a sneer. "I wanted to settle the score with him myself."

As he spoke, he also walked towards the ring, as Professor Norman had asked for two students.

"Hmm?" Professor Norman raised an eyebrow when he saw Liam. He had also heard a bit about what happened yesterday, so he understood what was happening.

’Since he is that monster’s friend, he shouldn’t be very weak.’ He thought, and a look of interest flashed in his eyes.

At the same time, while William was busy in combat class, a woman with long black hair and red eyes came before a noble mansion, dragging a heavily injured man behind her.
