The next day, William and Liam left Vivian’s mansion and headed back to the academy.

’I wonder what kind of chaos she is causing...’ William muttered inwardly with a sigh as he thought of Vivian.

Last night, after saying she would handle the matter of the noble families, she went somewhere and hadn’t returned until now.

Now that she had been gone for hours, William had a feeling that she was causing a big scene somewhere.

Shaking his head to stop thinking about it, he looked at Liam sitting in the carriage in front of him and asked.

"So, did you see your bloodline memories?"

Liam nodded and spoke with a strange expression. "Didn’t you say the bloodline memories will teach me new abilities related to my bloodline?"

William raised an eyebrow upon seeing his expression and asked in confusion. "You did not see new abilities related to your bloodline in the memories?"

"It’s not that," Liam shook his head. "I indeed learned many things through those memories, but all of those things are related to different spear arts."

"Spear Arts?" William was stunned when he heard Liam, wondering what his vampire bloodline had to do with spear arts.

Liam nodded upon seeing William’s confused expression and explained.

"In the memories I saw, I saw a blurred figure using different spear arts. More importantly, he utilized Blood Lightning in different ways to use those spear arts. Some of them were so powerful that he even destroyed a vast region with just a simple attack."

"Teaching spear arts using Blood Lightning..." William frowned and suddenly thought of Liam’s trait, which was related to spears.

Seeing the change in William’s expression, Liam seemed to know what he was thinking, and he nodded.

"The vampire bloodline I received seemed to have undergone some kind of change because of my trait. Also..." He paused before his eyes twitched slightly. "I also received a new title."

"A new title..." William was even more stunned when he heard Liam.

"Yes." Liam nodded and sighed. "The title is called First Ruinborn General."

Hearing the title’s name, William felt it sounded quite good, so he asked, "What is the effect of this title?"

Liam’s eyes twitched violently, and he stared at William without saying anything.

"What’s wrong?" William was taken aback by Liam’s glare and felt something was wrong.

Taking a deep breath, Liam finally opened his mouth and spoke.

"This title increases my strength by 10% whenever I fight alongside or near my king."

As he spoke, Liam couldn’t help but grit his teeth.

"Fight alongside your king..." William was baffled when he heard Liam and looked at him in confusion.

But suddenly, he thought of something and pointed at himself.

"By your king, you don’t mean me, right?"

"What do you think?"

’Alright, so it’s me.’ William confirmed after seeing Liam’s reaction and scratched his head, feeling confused.

"Could it be because your Bloodline originated from mine that I became your king automatically?" He spoke after a moment.

"Most likely..." Liam nodded with a sigh. "And I think my trait also played a part in it."

"Your trait?" William raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Liam nodded and used his trait, Silver Wing Spear, and a silver spear appeared in his hand.

"Yes." Liam nodded and spoke softly. "Through the bloodline memories I saw, I got some information about my current bloodline, the Bloodline of Ruinborn Vampire. It seems that because of Silver Wing Spear, the normal vampire bloodline underwent some kind of mutation and changed into my current bloodline. And do you know what is the most interesting part..."

William looked at him curiously, waiting for him to continue.

Liam chuckled and spoke helplessly.

"In those memories, I saw some information about the Legion of Light that might have appeared because of the mutation between my trait and bloodline. According to that vague information, it seems the Legion of Light used to be a military unit under the command of someone very powerful. This military unit’s task was to conquer different realms for their Master. In a sense, every member of the Legion of Light was an elite who served as a frontline soldier, fighting for their king."

William’s eyes narrowed slightly at Liam’s words.

"You mean the reason you received that title is most likely because of the origin of your trait, which seems to be related to the Legion of Light."

Liam nodded.

"I mean, those people of the Legion of Light used to fight for their king, and now this First Ruinborn General title is also telling me to fight for a king to receive an additional boost in my power, so yeah, I think it’s related to this Legion of Light."

"Hmmm..." William showed a thoughtful look at Liam’s words and looked at him quietly. After a moment, he asked calmly.

"Are you dissatisfied because of this title?"

Liam thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"It’s not about dissatisfaction or anything. I just feel weird that I suddenly got a king to serve. It feels eerily similar to my father’s situation, who is a knight and serves faithfully under a noble."

"Don’t overthink it..." William said calmly. "Just treat that title as a buff skill, something that will increase your strength whenever I am around. It’s not like I am going to tell you to do something against your will because of this title."

"That’s true..." Liam nodded and asked, "Do you know why this strange mutation occurred? I mean, is this normal for a bloodline to be influenced by a trait?"

"I don’t know..." William shook his head, as it was the first time he had used his Bloodline Origin to turn someone into a Vampire.

But according to all the information he had gained through his Origin Grade Vampire Bloodline memories, something like this shouldn’t have happened, and Liam should have turned into a normal vampire with an Apex Grade Bloodline.

But he had become a Ruinborn Vampire, someone specialized in fighting using spear arts, which was Liam’s strongest aspect, and even his bloodline memories taught him more spear arts.

’Is it because of my Chaos Bloodline...’ William thought to himself. ’Logically, my vampire bloodline is something that I received because of Chaos Bloodline, so it’s natural for it to have some unknown effects that I don’t know about.’

Taking a deep breath, William shook his head, and a hint of anticipation flashed in his eyes as he looked at the academy, which was getting closer.

’I can’t wait to see how strong he became after learning from his bloodline memories...’ He turned to look at Liam and smiled.

"Let’s put aside the matter of your bloodline for the time being. Are you ready for Combat Class?"

Liam paused upon hearing William’s words before turning to look at the academy and nodded with a grin, thinking the same thing as him.
