After leaving the room, Alice Turner casually took the elevator down to the hotel lobby, maintaining a carefree demeanor as she walked out of the hotel’s front door.

She stood at the hotel’s entrance for a moment, and only when she saw a taxi approaching did she make her way to the roadside.

She raised her hand to hail the incoming taxi and left in the car.

As the taxi pulled away from the hotel’s entrance, Alice Turner glanced back in the rear direction and, as expected, saw the silhouette of that woman.

That woman also hailed a taxi and followed closely behind.

Before the woman could notice, Alice Turner turned back and sat properly in her seat, feigning admiration for the roadside scenery.

Her admiration for the scenery was a pretense; she was actually secretly observing the car that followed behind.

More than half an hour later, the taxi stopped at the restaurant where Alice Turner had lunch, as per her request.

"Thank you, driver!"

"It seems like someone is following you."

Having paid via WeChat, Alice Turner was about to get off the car when the driver alerted her.

"I know, thank you."

Alice Turner thanked the driver once again, got off the car, and walked towards her car parked in the restaurant’s parking spot.

Even the driver noticed someone following; that woman’s ability must not be strong, likely just slightly better than a novice.

Alice Turner got into her car and carefully checked it but found nothing unusual.

Not reassured, she inspected thoroughly once more but still found nothing wrong.

Since nothing was wrong inside the car, it must be outside.

After exiting the car, Alice Turner began to walk around her vehicle.

After three slow rounds, she finally discovered something amiss.

A nail was stuck in the rear right tire, hidden so discreetly that it was invisible without careful examination.

That woman was truly vicious; once the car started, the nail would puncture the tire immediately, causing an unavoidable leak.

Alice Turner dared not imagine the consequences and sighed deeply as she looked at the nail in the tire.

Feeling frustrated, Alice Turner kicked the nail-stuck tire once, took out her phone, and dialed the auto service center’s number.

While waiting for the service center’s people to arrive, Alice Turner sat in her car searching for the woman who was following her, spotting her figure across the street under a big tree.

The woman crouched behind the tree, secretly watching toward Alice Turner’s direction.

Could there really be just this one woman coming this time?

That woman had planned to make a move at this restaurant at noon, now following her here as well.
