Chapter 1541: You’re So Beautiful

  • Next Chapter

At that moment, Thomas Fisher happened to look over toward Alice Turner as well. The instant their eyes met, both of them froze for a second, then very tacitly turned to look at Anthony.

"Mr. Anthony! With you in women’s clothes I almost didn’t recognize you." If he hadn’t watched Anthony walk into the restroom, Thomas honestly wouldn’t have recognized him at a glance.

When Alice told him Anthony was a woman, he’d still had his doubts, but seeing Anthony in women’s clothes today, that last bit of doubt in his heart instantly vanished.

Turns out looks are thirty percent face and seventy percent styling; the difference here is way more than a little—it’s a straight-up leap from the men’s side over to the women’s.

From the moment Anthony was born, he’d always presented himself as a boy, and from childhood on his clothes had always been boy’s clothes.

Once, she secretly put on her mom’s clothes in her room, but unfortunately her dad happened to see. That time, his dad gave him a vicious beating and even skipped his dinner that night, just to make sure he "learned his lesson."

He was only twelve that year. That time sneaking into women’s clothes was his first time in his whole life, and also the only time up to now.

After that day, he never dared casually put on women’s clothes again, and didn’t even dare entertain the thought. He was afraid he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from secretly doing it.

Today, in order to walk out of here openly and aboveboard, Anthony put on women’s clothes again. This time there was no scolding or beating from his dad—only the stunned, admiring looks of the two people in front of him.

Just now he’d wanted to say no, but in the end he still lost to that voice shouting from the bottom of his heart: Put it on. You were a girl to begin with.

"Jacob! You’re gorgeous!"

Alice Turner stood up and walked to Anthony, carefully looking him over from head to toe. The more she looked, the more beautiful she thought he was.

In women’s clothes he did look seductive and charming, but not the least bit trashy.

If he could show up like this every day, he’d definitely have tons of people chasing after him. But having things turn out that way for him is very hard.

There’s no way he can keep wearing women’s clothes, because everyone thinks he’s a boy—a real, proper boy.

Looking at Anthony in women’s clothes, Alice felt a twist in her chest. Clearly he’s a girl, but everyone treats him as a boy. The bitterness in his heart is something only he truly understands.

"Beautiful?"

Anthony lowered his head to look at what he was wearing. To be honest, when he’d just been in the restroom looking in the mirror, even he had been stunned by how he looked right now.

Alice nodded firmly. "Incredibly beautiful."

This was her first time seeing him in women’s clothes. When he was still in the restroom she’d been full of curiosity. Now that he was standing in front of her for real, she was amazed, but at the same time her heart ached.

She kept a smile on her face, not letting that ache inside show.

"Thanks! I think I’m gorgeous too."

Anthony wasn’t even a little modest about it, nor did he feel awkward. He openly admitted he looked gorgeous, and even had a bit of that girly, proud attitude.

As soon as he finished, Thomas Fisher’s tsk-tsk came from over on the couch. "Tsk tsk tsk, talk about the pot praising itself—classic self-hype."

"Thomas!"

Hearing Thomas’s tsk-tsk, Alice Turner pointed a finger at him, using her eyes to signal him to quit running his mouth.

Anthony just rolled his eyes at him. "I’ll praise myself if I feel like it. How’s that your business, you stinky man?"

If he weren’t Alice’s fiancé, Anthony would’ve already sent a flying kick his way.
