Chapter 1534: He Is Needed by Her

When Alice Turner thought of going to the surveillance room to check the footage, the receptionist had already received the news she wanted from another colleague: a woman came here yesterday afternoon to inquire about her and Anthony.

The woman not only wore a baseball cap but also a black mask, so the colleague couldn’t clearly see the woman’s face.

Alice Turner dragged Anthony to the hotel’s surveillance room, but when they arrived, they were refused entry.

"Where are you now?"

"Why did you go there?"

If her guess was correct, he saw Grace Young returning alone, learned from Grace that she and Anthony went to the front desk, and mistakenly thought she was going to leave without a word like five years ago.

She was confident he was at the front desk now.

"I’ll come up to find you right away."

Thomas Fisher did not directly answer Alice Turner’s question, instead hurriedly hung up the call after saying that.

Not long after the call ended, Alice Turner saw Thomas Fisher’s figure, and she had already forgotten the previous situation completely, striding towards him.

Benjamin Shaw’s behavior at the restaurant today disappointed Anthony greatly; now when he looked at Thomas, he seemed much more agreeable than before. He stood in place, waiting for the two to come over together.

"Do you know the boss here? I want to see the surveillance footage." She wanted to track down that person through the surveillance video and control that person before they caused bigger trouble.

"Why do you want to see the surveillance footage? Did you lose something?" Thomas Fisher didn’t know what was happening. Hearing Alice Turner wanted to check the surveillance footage, his first thought was this.

Alice Turner shook her head, negating Thomas Fisher’s guess, but she didn’t tell him the real reason either, as she couldn’t explain the situation clearly in a short time.

"Don’t ask so much now, I need your help." Her tone was firm and urgent, leaving no room for him to continue questioning the reason.

Alice Turner’s words made Thomas Fisher feel quite appreciated, and his lips curved upward, "You want to see the hotel’s surveillance footage, right? Wait for me a moment, I’ll make a call."

He said, taking his phone out of his pocket.

Thomas Fisher found the number he wanted in his contacts and quickly dialed it.

Alice Turner didn’t want to interfere with his phone call, so she tactfully stepped aside, quietly waiting for him to give her an expected result.

"All right, thank you, I’ll treat you to dinner another day."
