"Mr... Shaw! Why not come up for a cup of tea before you leave."

After getting out of the car at the hotel entrance, Anthony stood beside the driver’s side door, inviting Benjamin Shaw inside for tea.

Hearing this, Alice Turner sighed helplessly. Fortunately, she stood some distance away from Benjamin Shaw and Anthony, and neither of the two speaking heard her sigh.

Although they didn’t hear her sigh, Benjamin could see her indifferent face; she didn’t want to bother with him, let alone have him come up and sit.

"Another day then."

Glancing at Alice Turner through the rearview mirror, Benjamin politely declined Anthony.

He wasn’t foolish; going up now would not only create an awkward atmosphere but also make her unhappy. Besides, she would probably not sit beside him.

No matter how he looked at it, there was no benefit for him, so why go up and make everyone uncomfortable?

Previously, Anthony might have insisted on inviting Benjamin up again, but today he didn’t feel like it.

Upon hearing the refusal, he nodded accordingly, "Alright, let’s arrange another day."

With that, he walked away from the car, turned around, and approached the two people waiting nearby.

"Goodbye!"

Beep!

Anthony waved goodbye to Benjamin Shaw, who responded with a honk of the car horn before driving away.

The three didn’t linger long at the hotel entrance, they walked into the hotel shoulder to shoulder.

"Grace! You take the laptop up first, and Jacob and I will go to the front desk to ask something."

Once inside the hotel, Alice handed her laptop to Grace Young, then grabbed Anthony and walked towards the hotel front desk.

Seeing Alice taking Anthony’s hand, Grace furrowed her brow.

How could Ms. Turner do that? She’s already agreed to Mr. Fisher’s proposal, yet she’s pulling Anthony like this.

Ah!

Sighing at their backs, Grace carried the laptop and walked in another direction.

Right now, Alice Turner and Anthony didn’t have time to care about anything else, they strode swiftly to the front desk.

"Hello! Is there anything you need help with?" Alice and Anthony had been coming and going here for the past few days, so although the front desk staff weren’t familiar with them, their faces were certainly recognizable.

Standing at the front desk, Alice spoke directly, "Hello! Has anyone been asking about us these days? Apart from Mr. Shaw and Thomas Fisher, I mean anyone else."

That person showing up there couldn’t be a coincidence today; they must have been tracking them for days. Perhaps they were already being watched the moment they checked in.

The front desk waiter tilted her head thinking. In her memory, she couldn’t recall anyone, "During my shift, no one has."

"Could you ask others for me?"

The matter was urgent, Alice needed to figure things out quickly. She and Anthony were in the open, while the other party was in the dark.

Since the person failed today, they certainly wouldn’t give up easily. She had to find them, and only then would she know what to do next.

They couldn’t remain passive; being passive would likely result in getting harmed.

She had to proactively strike to ensure his safety.

Seeing Alice’s anxious appearance, the receptionist realized things might be serious, so she didn’t dare to be negligent. She took out her phone to contact her other colleagues.

While the receptionist called her colleagues, Alice leaned on the counter, her mind racing as she thought about how to handle the situation.

Suddenly, she seemed to have thought of something, turning towards the receptionist making the call and hurriedly asked, "Hello! Where is the surveillance room?"
