Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 836 - 834 - Evil Bat is Dead

Chapter 836: Chapter 834 – Evil Bat is Dead

Kent was hard at work, comprehending the hidden secrets behind the 14 markings.

He remained seated, pouring all his attention into the markings, and using the sword mind, he was doing all he could to understand what was hidden, even from the tower.

Judging by the complexity of the markings, he might need a couple of days, perhaps even weeks, to gain an understanding.

[Human Continent – Evil Sect]

It has already been over two years since Kent’s battle with the evil bat.

Back then, Kent came close to losing, as the gap in cultivation base and strength between him and Evil Bat was too vast.

However, Kent managed to gain the upper hand, and the outcome was more shocking than anyone who witnessed that battle expected.

Kent used a talisman, one that mirrors the life of a person, creates a copy of them, and links them together with the intention of making them enemies.

Evil Bat was pitted against his own image, and the outcome was just too terrifying.

He had to run and hide, and for the past two years, he had remained hidden, hoping that his mirror antagonist would abandon him.

Then once that happened, he could come out of seclusion and handle the brat who had sent him into hiding in the first place.

His sect poured all their resources into helping him grow much stronger.

Just a few hours ago, Evil Bat has finally managed to break into the Core Formation stage, bringing him the confidence he has lost over the past 2 years.

He remained hidden in his secret underground chamber, doing his best to gain control over his energy before he steps out.

A couple of hours later, when he finally did, his body exploded with energy.

“Kent Madson, wait for your death,” he muttered, looking coldly at the stone wall.

Suddenly, an elder, looking more bony than bones themselves, appeared in hurried steps, kneeling before Evil Bat.

“Congratulations, sect leader.”

“Drop the flattery and tell me, have you located the clone?”

“No, sect leader. At first, it was living in the mountains, but for a while now, we haven’t sensed even a trace of it anywhere, at least not anywhere within a 3,000-mile radius of the sect.

I think it had run out of energy and probably dissipated.”

Evil Bat didn’t say anything; instead, he unleashed his senses, covering several thousand miles in search of the clone. However, no matter how hard he looked, the clone was nowhere to be found.

“I suppose you are right. After all, it was a clone created using runes.” He stood up, and while he didn’t make it obvious, the elder could see the nervous look on his face.

But as someone who values his life, he said nothing.

“Anything else I should know?” Evil Bat asked.

“Nothing too important, sect leader. However, two years ago, after your battle with Kent, the other sects attacked us using your absence as their fuel.

Many died, but in the end, we managed to repel them. We fed their bodies to the beast, and now that you are stronger than ever, I believe we can get our revenge.”

Evil Bat didn’t say anything but just vanished away and then appeared above ground. The moment he breathed the fresh air, he felt a pair of eyes locked onto him.

Then it came, crashing down on him.

When he turned and looked, he saw an identical copy of himself lunging at him.

“What?”

His eyes widened with shock as he braced for impact.

BOOM

The clone landed a powerful punch on the Evil Bat’s crossed arm, breaking the bones.

“Aaarrgghhh!”

The pain shot through Evil Bat’s arm like wildfire, like hellish flames licking at his broken bones.

This disturbance immediately drew the attention of the elders, causing them to surround the clone.

However, before any of them could attack, the clone waved its hand, and their bodies exploded, turning into bats.

This only added to Evil Bat’s pain. He gritted his teeth and staggered backward, barely managing to keep his footing.

From the attacks that broke his arm to witnessing 10 elders blown up, he realized he had done nothing in the past 2 years.

The only thing he accomplished was strengthening the clone to not only end his life but also destroy the sect in the process.

Kent told him that as he grew stronger, so would the clone. However, he didn’t believe him, thinking he was merely trying to scare him into fighting the clone to the death back then.

But now, he saw that Kent didn’t mess with him, that he had doomed himself, or more like he was doomed from the start.

The clone pressed the advantage without hesitation, a cruel smile twisting its lips.

Though it can’t talk, the expression on its face probably said something along the lines of “You’re weaker than I thought,” it sneered.

Evil Bat growled and summoned every ounce of his Core Formation energy, igniting his other arm in a swirling aura of dark flame. “I won’t lose… not this time!”

He swung with brutal force, aiming a devastating strike at the clone’s chest. But the clone was faster, effortlessly dodging and retaliating with a series of rapid punches that battered Evil Bat’s ribs.

Blood spilled from his mouth, and his vision blurred, but he forced himself to stand firm.

The clone is identical to Evil Bat, but without his weaknesses and flaws. So naturally, Kent has created a perfect battle companion for Evil Bat, only that this one aims to take his life.

Evil Bat tried to block, but the clone’s palm slammed into his chest with the force of a mountain. His body flew backward, crashing through trees and smashing into the ground hard enough to crack the earth beneath him.

Half the sect was destroyed from that one’s attack, and more than 300 Evil Sect disciples perished.

Struggling to breathe, Evil Bat crawled to his feet. His strength was fading fast. The clone approached, cold and merciless.

With a final roar, Evil Bat gathered his remaining energy for one last desperate attack. But before he could strike, the clone’s shadow stretched out, wrapping around him like chains forged from darkness.

The pressure crushed him, breaking bones, squeezing the life from his lungs.

His bones shattered, creating a sickening sound.

Evil Bat’s eyes glazed over. He tried to scream, but no sound came.

Blood fell from his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth as the clone’s shadow tightened the binding around Evil Bat’s body.

Evil Bat’s body went limp.

The clone released him, letting the lifeless corpse slump to the ground.

Evil Bat had yet to shuffle off the mortal coil; however, he wasn’t far from that junction.

In the few seconds before he died, he activated something.

The battle was soon over.

Evil Bat was dead, and the clone vanished as well.

However, a few seconds later, a sealed door was opened, and a giant lion beast appeared, radiating a rather sinister energy.

In Evil Bat’s bid to get revenge on the clone, he forgot one thing Kent said that day.

He and the clone are linked, so the moment he died, the clone also died, meaning releasing the beast was the end for his sect.

In under 20 minutes, those who couldn’t run fast enough were killed.

Then the panther turned its gaze to the rest of the human kingdoms.

However, it didn’t get the chance, for Elder Lance, who witnessed the entire battle, intervened and killed the panther a few exchanges later.

“Using a mirror clone to kill your enemy, just what kind of monster are you, Kent Madson?” Elder Lance wondered, staring at the destroyed sect.

A few seconds later, he left.
