Chapter 837: Remembering Him

Chapter 837: Remembering Him

[Planet Kryos (Immortal World). Nebulon Mountain. Grand Pyris Pagoda – Last Floor. 20 days later]

Currently, seated inside her jade throne, on the last floor of the Grand Pyris Pagoda in the immortal world, Pill Immortal Nefeli, one of the best alchemists in the universe, seems to be in deep thought.

In her hand is a sketched image, one that seems to have been drawn from bits and pieces of her memory. While the picture appears good and human, it still lacks some elements.

However, it is a picture of Kent, one that can be used to identify him.

The past couple of days saw Pill Immortal Nefeli recalling things from her past that she had never known she had in her mind.

She, at points, out of nowhere, will blackout, sometimes for a couple of minutes, sometimes for a few seconds. Though recently, she doesn’t black out anymore, but out of nowhere, a memory will appear in her mind.

“Kent, the one who joined the Alliance with just a Pill Grandmaster status, and I was even the one who added him. What was I thinking, adding mere grandmaster to the alliance?”

That was the first memory that came to her after the initial awakening 20 days ago. She was confused to think she had added someone so low in the path of the pill to the alliance filled with talents.

Of course, while her initial shock was due to her limited memories, a few days later, she realized why she had done that.

“To think a mere Pill Grandmaster was able to tell a Tier 12 pill from Tier 9 ingredients, now I understand why I added him.

I would have killed to get someone like that on my side.”

This memory made her happy, which only got even more interesting as more memories started pouring in.

A few days after the third memory, she remembered how, during the duel between Pill King Han Lu and Pill King Yota, Kent was paying attention to their every movement.

It was something that caught her attention.

This only deepened her image of Kent, and while it had been hundreds of thousands of years already, his image was slowly returning to her.

Then, there was the memory of when Kent gave her the Soul-type recipes.

Just like how she felt when Kent gave her the recipes, her mind was blown away this time, too.

Because of those memories, she had been pondering the fact that she finally knew where all the recipes came from.

“He gave me 20 Soul-type pill recipes like it was nothing.” This memory served as a wake-up call for her to delve deeper into learning more about Kent.

Of course, the first thing she did was return to the Pyris Pill world, which had now become the top Pill world among the ten Pill worlds.

When she checked the contribution chart, she found out Kent’s name had made two contributions, each a Soul-type pill.

She checked how the contribution was made, and that was when she discovered that she was the one who had collected the contribution and recorded it.

It was a moment of shock to her, and while she didn’t want to draw too much attention, she followed up on the next memory, and that led her to Pill Immortal Suoh, the heavenly Pill Immortal.

It was there she learned that Pill Immortal Suoh was also going through the same thing.

Of course, they knew each other thanks to Kent.

It was after a few days that she realized their friendship had blossomed because of their shared connection to Kent. This made them start to question many things again.

To get more answers, she drew Kent’s image to the best of her ability, intending to use her secret connections to find out who this Kent was.

“No matter what, I must look for him.”

[40 days later – Pill Immortal Nefeli’s Immortal Garden]

Pill Immortal Nefeli was painting the 99th image of Kent when suddenly, somebody rushed into her immortal garden.

“My lady, something big has happened.”

She paused her painting and set the brush down.

“Yuna, one of these days, I am going to seal your body and turn you into a puppet. How many times did I tell you to walk and not run when entering the garden?”

Yuna, a dark-haired beauty with an aura of a Root Immortal, smiled.

“I am sorry, my lady, I just couldn’t contain my happiness and shock.”

Pill Immortal Nefeli turned and looked at her, “You are always happy.”

“This time I am overly happy.”

Pill Immortal Nefeli just smirked, “Tell me why you are happy then.”

“You won’t believe it, but I just got word that the Sword Dao Tablet has just inscribed a name. I have never heard that name before, but everyone is talking about this mysterious name.”

“Are you going to tell me the name, or should I pull it out of your mouth?”

Yuna smiled, “The name that appeared on the tablet is Kent Madson, an unknown person.”

“What did you just say?” Pill Immortal Nefeli appeared before Yuna, looking very demanding.

Yuna didn’t panic, for she knew her master wouldn’t hurt her. To anyone other than her, they would have panicked and fled.

To her, seeing her master this eager to hear something and even displaying these many expressions made her happy.

Her master is always cold and distant, so this was a new side of her she would love to see more often. Her master has shown her an emotion, which means she wasn’t a robot, as most thought she was.

“I haven’t seen the name myself, but from rumors going around, the name Kent Madson has appeared on the Sword Dao Tablet.

Many sword Sovereigns and immortals are already making their way to the Sword Canyon to look at it themselves. This is big, which means…

“The sword world is about to become more interesting and deadly again,” Pill Immortal Nefeli smiled.

“Why are you smiling?” Yuna asked, looking strangely at her master.

Pill Immortal Nefeli looked at the half-completed image of the handsome purple-haired brat on her canvas, and her smile bloomed.

“I will be away for a while, Yuna. Be sure to look after yourself and don’t get into a fight with the others. I know you are the strongest, so don’t bully them.”

“I will, master,” Yuna smiled, “And don’t worry, I will take care of the garden, making sure all the flowers are nurtured.”

“Just don’t kill them.”

Saying that, Pill Immortal Nefeli vanished. Yuna looked at the image of the person on her master’s canvas and smiled.

“If you turn out to be a scam and you break her heart, I will gut you, whoever you are or whatever your name is.”

She also left, leaving the canvas behind.

A few minutes after they left, an ethereal beauty, one whose beauty is out of this world, appeared in front of the canvas and formed a chair out of nothing and sat down.

She gazed intently at the half-completed image on the canvas, spending several hours just staring at it like she wanted to burn it into her head.

After a day, she used her hand to brush Kent’s cheek and stood up.

“Looks like you are back, Jest, and have already started making waves. As expected of the Genesis himself,” she smiled.

“But for abandoning me, I will gut you when I get my hands on you… punk.” Her divine aura leaked, which drew Yuna’s attention. However, by the time she arrived, the lady was already gone.

“Maybe I miss my master so much that I thought she had returned.”
