Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1136: Meeting In-Laws

Chapter 1136: Meeting In-Laws

Kent and his mom left the mountain garden and headed to Gaiaville, where the humans who once worked for the Alderfords’ (Lilian and Elsa’s family) now live.

They had to come here since their lives were in danger back then.

Kent knew if he hadn’t taken them away, the Hand would have killed them all just to get back at him. Now, a lot has happened, and they are thriving in their peaceful utopia.

Most of them are in seclusion in a place Gaia calls the Cultivation Garden to break through to the Spirit Ascension stage.

It turned out that right when Kent ascended, the tower underwent some upgrades and changes. One of the upgrades is the time running in the cities.

Now, the times running there have synced with the outside world. So, in both Gaiaville and Blood City, one hour corresponds to one hour in the outside world.

This was done because, despite 24 days being 24 hours on the outside, the people living there are not aging that fast. Their aging is being calculated by the time in the outside world.

So the tower had corrected that.

Naturally, a lot of work went into that.

However, one of the best and most unique aspects of the tower is its time difference. Twenty-four days inside are equivalent to one day outside. That sounded like a haven for cultivators, and so Gaia and her sisters aren’t about to take that from them.

So they fixed it by creating places where they can have the same time advantage. They called it the Cultivation Garden, where 24 days inside are equivalent to one day in the city.

However, the Harem, Alchemy, Sword, and Legion Towers have the same time as before.

Aside from that, the spiritual energy in the air is rather thick and potent. Kent had been to Supreme High Worlds, but he knew for a fact that the concentration of Spiritual Qi inside the tower was very potent.

Too bad he doesn’t level up using Spiritual Qi, but blood.

Of course, he already has plans to raise his cultivation once he has shown his mom around and ensured she has settled in.

“This place is very beautiful,” Lady Enyo said, holding Kent’s hand as they walked down the street of Gaiaville.

Only a few people were present. Most of the buildings didn’t even have occupants, so this wasn’t a new sight to Kent. He knew adding more people to the tower was the only way to solve the emptiness of the city.

The Elves are coming, and so he knew for a fact the empty houses would have people living in them soon.

Of course, Gaia and her sisters are building them a city, but many will soon come to occupy the empty houses.

“This is a place only those who have my permission can enter, so of course, it ought to be beautiful,” Kent bragged, feeling like he had accomplished something grand.

And well, he did accomplish something grand. Having something as powerful and magical as the tower is already an accomplishment.

Lady Enyo turned and looked at her son. The sight of him smiling made her smile also. “I am so proud of you.”

Kent nodded and led her toward a building that was surrounded by plants and herbs. This is the building where Elaine’s parents live.

When they reached one of the herb gardens, they saw Elaine’s father watering some of the herbs with nothing but a mere wave of his hand.

Not far from him, his wives were also growing seeds. Thanks to Alina, she now has the means to cultivate herbs.

She may not have Elaine and her father’s bloodline; however, she is perfect in her own way, thanks to Alina and her Primordial Spirit.

“Kent, you are here.” Elaine’s mom was the first to notice them.

Kent waved at her, and she waved back. “Long time no see, Mother-in-law. Father-in-law,” Kent said, feeling glad these two had yet to enter seclusion. He really wanted his mom to meet them after all.

“Glad to see you again, Kent,” His father-in-law said.

Kent nodded and then turned to his mother.

“Mom, these are my in-laws. You are yet to meet their daughter, but she is one of my many wives.”

Kent then turned to his in-laws and said, “Everyone, this is my mom.”

The two in-laws were visibly surprised, causing them to furrow their brows in stunned silence. They turned and looked at each other before turning back to Kent and his mom.

Their eyes switch between them, many questions popping up in their heads.

Lady Enyo smiled weakly and spoke.

“No need to wonder. I am an Elf, and my son is a dragon. It will be hard to explain this weird genetic make-up, but he is indeed my son.” Lady Enyo had already read their minds from their expressions.

However, she indeed has no way of explaining why her son is a dragon while she is an Elf. It simply doesn’t make sense, and they are aware of that.

Even Kent had to scratch his head a bit. “She is telling the truth, I am indeed her only son.”

“No need to explain yourselves. It was our mistake in making such expressions,” Elaine’s mother said with a small smile. Her husband nodded.

“Nice meeting you, my Lady. Your son has been a pleasure to have around. Thanks to him, we got to reunite with our daughter, and now he is making her the happiest woman in the universe.”

Lady Enyo nodded. “He takes after me.”

Kent nodded; he indeed took after his mom, but in good looks and intelligence. His shameless womanizing lifestyle, however, came from his father.

That man was one dangerous player, and Kent is making him proud wherever he is.

“We just came by to say hi and continue to Blood City. However, we will be back for dinner, so please prepare the usual.”

Elaine’s mom smiled and nodded. “I know you like it more than my daughter, so don’t worry, I will cook the usual.”

Kent smiled. “Don’t be silly, Mother-in-law. You know your daughter is everything to me. Though don’t mention it to her, she will probably bury me in one of her many graves.”

Kent and his in-laws laughed while Lady Enyo wondered what the usual food was that her son seemed to love more than his women.

’Traitor. He used to like my cooking more than anything, but now it seems I have been replaced.’ Lady Enyo gave Kent a vicious stare, which made the poor dragon shudder like a puppy.

’Just wait, I will get back at you.’

“See you this evening, Father-in-law, Mother-in-law.” Kent knew staying any longer and laughing with his in-laws would sign his early death certificate, so he pulled his mom away.

Once they were gone from sight, Elaine’s father and mother sighed.

“Like mother, like son, I guess,” Elaine’s father said, taking another deep sigh before adding, “That woman is dangerous.”

“I know, right? It felt like I was staring into the eyes of an immortal.”

“Same here. We must make sure to impress her with our food, so please, go all out on the cooking today. Bring out the genius I know you have and make it a memorable one.”

“I will do my best.”

Kent intentionally used the Soul Map to listen to what his in-laws were saying. Hearing them plan a good meal made his stomach excited.

Lady Enyo smirked, but she felt happy inwardly that at least her son had a mother and a father figure who seemed to have won him over with their food.

Kent was all about food back when he was a teenager. Now, it seems he hadn’t changed, even though he can go a thousand years without food.

They soon reached Blood City; however, only a few children and their mothers were around. All warriors and new cultivators are inside the Cultivation Garden cultivating.

Kent knew they would have to come back later, so he and his mom left the tower to handle the migration of the Elves.

Since the time difference has been resolved in the cities, they will return in the evening to have dinner with Elaine’s parents.

Meanwhile, Kaizo and his team had started making waves all over Planet Mekyn and beyond.
