Chapter 1088: Kent’s Next Moves
Chapter 1088: Kent’s Next Moves
“Thank you, Tribe Chief Malthar. If it hadn’t been for you and your people, things would have ended very badly.”
“No need to thank me, Kent. You saved us and gave us a home, so the least we can do is help you fend off your enemies.”
Kent smiles.
Now that he is back in his universe, where he is loved and cared for, he finally sees how hard Paragon has it in his universe.
The Bloodvein Tribe fought bravely and lost only five warriors. However, it was war, and death happens. But hearing the sincere words from his father-in-law, he can tell they hold no regrets.
After a few more talks, Kent finally informed him of his next moves.
“I will soon be using the tribulation to ascend to a High World. Once I do, the energy in the tower will grow much denser, allowing you all to break through.
The tower will also undergo many changes as a result, so prepare your tribesmen and make everyone aware of the changes about to occur.”
Tribe Chief Malthar nodded.
After he left with his people, Kent turned to the Legion. “It appears I can’t allow you all to push through your limits inside the dungeon. Once I ascend, it will take only a couple of years for some of you to reach the Heavenly Ascension stage…
So sorry about that.”
“No need to worry, Master, we have seen how far we can go in Paragon’s Universe. Although we are still lacking, we saw where to improve.
I am sure a few weeks in seclusion will shape us into battle-ready warriors next time we have to cross over and go help the Paragon again,” Kaizo said, beating his chest.
“Sure.”
Kent didn’t want to tell the overly enthusiastic Kaizo that they wouldn’t be crossing over anytime soon, that he would have to focus on his training.
What none of them realized was that the key that brought them over to Paragon’s Universe also gave them a boon.
While they felt no changes thanks to the masking effect of the boon, every last one of them went into the battle as Spirit Lords.
Even Kent only discovered this after the battle.
However, going in as Spirit Lords and fighting those three realms above them was already enough to show the kind of strength they possessed. It was already enough for them to break through and rapidly advance to the Heavenly Ascension stage without weakening their foundation.
“Are you done exploring the 4th floor of the dungeon?” Kent instead chose to move away from that topic and instead focus on the events he had left to handle before ascending.
“We are yet to explore the underground chambers,” Sylara answered, and Kent nodded.
“Then rest for a few days and go handle that. Once that is done, come back here and wait until I ascend before challenging the 5th level.”
The Legion nodded and vanished back into the Legion Tower.
Kent was left with his wives.
Some are bruised, others broken, and some are completely fine.
“We won’t be going to the Interplanetary Sect Competition,” Kent declared.
“Why?” his wives asked.
“Because I have no plans on showing your pale and worn-out faces to the public. I mean, how would that reflect on my handsome image?”
Every last woman, even Lady Enzi and Liora, gave him the “If you don’t dress up so we can leave, we will drag your body all the way to the Celestial Gate Planet” look.
Kent shuddered.
He had faced angels and demons a couple of hours ago, but under the glare of his wives, he shuddered.
“Fine. When you ladies get there, let me know, and I will come.”
After saying that, Kent teleported away and appeared in the Tower Store, immediately purchasing some healing potions. He then gulped them all down and went ahead to buy some more.
The battle he had been in had taken a heavy toll on his body. He needed to rest, but knowing he had another promise to fulfill, he wanted to be ready for the sect competition.
He was not a seed candidate, meaning he must fight in the preliminaries. He had promised Lady Enzi he would help her sect win the competition before she ascended.
After drinking enough healing potions, he retired into a chair to let his body rest and heal.
“How chaotic,” Kent sighed, his mind traveling back to Paragon’s universe. When he arrived there, he expected a battle like the one he had experienced down in hell; however, to his amazement, things turned out much more savage.
First, he had to face an entire battlefield on his own. Then he fought beings with strengths several realms above him, and he was even forced to take on a palm strike from an immortal.
Then, to make matters even more chaotic, he killed seven gods with a wave of his hand.
Talk about being overpowered — with his goddess wife holding his hand, he actually slayed seven gods and walked away unscathed.
“I am badass for sure,” Kent grinned. Although his wife did all the heavy lifting, he was the one who struck the nail in, killing the gods.
However, while that was amazing and he would definitely brag about it one of these days, what took his breath away was Paragon.
He saw a lone figure standing tall, facing the unfathomable heavens. He shouldered the load, and in the end, he willingly gave his life to save those he cared about.
Though Kent didn’t wish for a Paragon life, he was triggered by something wholly disturbing, which prompted him to sigh in his heart and make a solemn vow.
“For as long as I live and breathe, I will never allow the heavens to be influenced in any way by any outside party.
I, Kent Madson, the Primordial Chaos Dragon, will ensure this universe remains free from all forms of outside manipulation.
Mercy on the souls of those who will dare turn their evil gaze on my universe,” because his bloodline was still at 25% since the 24 hours weren’t up yet, a wave of chaos aura washed out of his body, showing how serious he was.
Kent closed his eyes and decided to rest. His wives knew he was tired, so when they got to the Planet Celestial Gate, they would enter the tower and carry him out.
Once everything was done here, he would ascend and continue his journey.

[Core of the Universe]
Lady Universe and the Enchantress held calm smiles on their faces, hearing what Kent had just said. As cosmic beings, they knew that when an external force attacked the universe, they could only rely on the beings that lived in it.
During the Primordial Era, the Chaos Dragon had sacrificed his life to save the universe, making him invaluable throughout the universe.
Now, hearing his solemn voice, they felt safe knowing the same old dragon who once stood up for the universe had yet again planned to save it if anyone dared lay their eyes on it.
“He has changed somehow,” Lady Universe said, and the Enchantress nodded.
“That is to be expected considering where he went.”
The two ladies sighed.
They continued to watch Kent’s handsome face as he slept comfortably in his chair.
