Chapter 1087: Back To His Universe
Chapter 1087: Back To His Universe
A bittersweet goodbye, one would say.
Kent watches his wives hug and say goodbye to the friends they’ve made on this unexpected trip to a completely different universe.
It was an unexpected trip indeed.
However, it was one that brought families together.
Of course, the situation they met in wasn’t pleasant. However, they made it work somehow. However, every good thing must come to an end, so they had to say their goodbyes and, hopefully, one day they will meet again.
“You ladies should pay more attention to your training. The next time we meet, we will have more time to talk about ourselves and our big families,” Nara said, looking at the three Elemental sisters.
They are injured again, but they aren’t in any danger.
Of course, with Alina’s Healing formation, they will be up on their feet in no time.
“You two should also take care of yourselves. When we meet again, we will have a blast,” Aria said, and the two sisters nodded.
Nara and her sister Mara weren’t the only ones saying their goodbyes.
Princess Lovina was with Poison Queen Ohema. They bonded over their shared love for poison. It is in their nature to love poison, so the two ladies bonded, and now that they are leaving, she could only say her goodbyes.
Unity also met with Hanna, who was also injured trying to save her sisters. Unity gave Hanna all the arrows her Primordial Spirits made for her before they went into slumber.
In return, Hanna also gave Unity a technique called Seven Arrows of Condemnation. The technique is something far more valuable than the arrows Unity gave her.
This left Unity in a bind… She wanted to make sure her gift matched what Hanna gave her. In the end, she transferred her experience in awakening a Primordial Spirit to Hanna.
“It is what I went through while awakening my Primordial Spirit. If you can share it with your sisters, I am sure you will soon find a way to upgrade your soul spirits to primordial spirits.”
Hanna thanked her.
She could tell how valuable this knowledge she had now was. This made her eternally grateful.
More goodbyes between the wives were said.
However, the legion also made friends, and Kaizo now looked at his pal, Lord Trench; a smile that reached down to his soul appeared on his face.
“Too bad I have to leave. I would have stayed long enough to help you guys get your revenge,” Kaizo said, clenching his fist.
Lord Trench smiled and shook his head slightly. “Quite unfortunate you have to leave. However, when we meet again, I am sure there will be many battles to be fought.”
“That would be awesome.” Kaizo smiled, already looking forward to the day they would meet again.
Alina also met up with Princess Eshira to hand her the ownership of the Grand Archer Planet Formation.
“This should go to him,” Princess Eshira said, wiping tears from her eyes.
Alina nodded, but because Paragon was unconscious, she knew that giving it to the next person who understood runes would be the best move.
Princess Eshira was selected by her sisters, so she handed it to her.
“He will wake up one day. When he does, you can give it to him, but for now, you must become the owner. Once it starts spreading to other planets, you will be able to sense when someone is coming to your world.
You will then have the means to attack them or let them through. Of course, I know you are smart, so you will figure out a way to make it even better than it is now.”
“Thank you for this and everything.” Princess Eshira bowed slightly toward Alina before walking away.
Thanks to Alina’s healing formation, her sisters are now safe from harm. In a way, Kent saved their husband, and Alina saved the wives.
Alina only sighed, moved, and started drawing some runes in the air. She was still not satisfied with how things had turned out, so she was making sure that, when she was gone, this family, nearly shattered, would thrive, and that one day, when they met again, it would be all fun.
Alina was fortunate to find a big, happy family, so she wanted to leave this one, too, on happy terms.
Kent saw through Alina’s mental state, so he approached her and hugged her from behind, despite his body still aching.
Alina smiled. “I am fine, Kent. I am merely setting up a Firework Array that will light up the sky every year as a reminder of today’s victory.
Whenever it lights up, every soul will know that although they went through many sufferings, they persevered. It will be a reminder of the victory they won in their unfair battle against the heavens.”
Kent nodded and kissed her neck, making sure she knew he was with her on that…
—
The cloud was still roaring, and every second that passed, Kent could tell they truly wanted to slaughter the woman who couldn’t let go of her son, despite the five uncles of the Paragon reminding her that the longer she stayed, the more danger she put her son in.
Kent could only sigh, watching this.
Soon, however, the portal back to his world opened, signaling that it was time for him to leave.
Kent walked toward Paragon’s sleeping body and crouched down, making sure his words entered his ears even if he couldn’t hear a thing…
“Obviously, we will have to postpone the ritual to become sworn brothers until next time. However, since we will probably meet again in the most unusual way possible, it is fine if I leave this behind.”
Kent retrieved a memory crystal from his space ring and handed it to Paragon.
“I have already left detailed instructions on how to use it in the video I recorded.” A smile appeared on his face.
“I am also from Earth, in case you are wondering. However, unlike yours, mine is very messed up in all the wrong ways. However, it taught me how to adapt and keep pushing forward.
This is why I believe you will also adapt to this second chance at life. It won’t be long until you get back on your feet. When that time comes, just keep pushing forward, and one day, you will reach your goal.”
Kent stood up and looked at the crying mother. “He is safe now, so you can leave knowing he will be in good hands. Although I don’t know him much, I saw the way he fought, and based on that, I can promise you that it won’t be long before you reunite.”
Kent walked back and turned to leave. However, before taking a few steps, Paragon’s mom grabbed his hand. “Thank you for saving my son. If there is time next time, I will be sure to pay you back a hundredfold.”
Kent smiled and nodded.
After everything was said and done, he made sure his people started entering the portal.
The Bloodvein Tribe entered first, followed by his Legion, then his wives. Although it took some time, they entered, some even holding back their tears.
After the last of them entered, Kent waved a final goodbye and entered. The portal closed the next second, and all parties involved appeared in the familiar confines of the Tower.
