As Ash and his harem continued their journey toward Violet City, he took a quiet moment to check the stats of his newly caught Pokémon using the system interface.

The girls walked close by, chatting softly and occasionally glancing at him with warm smiles.

First, he opened Heracross’s stats:

The girls noticed his happy expression. Misty leaned against his arm. "Good news?"

Ash nodded. "Very good. Heracross and Ursaring both have excellent potential. We’re getting stronger every day."

The group continued walking and soon entered a scenic valley they needed to pass through to reach Violet City. Beautiful cliffs rose on either side, dotted with wildflowers and lush greenery. The atmosphere was peaceful until the ground suddenly began to shake violently. Large boulders broke loose from the cliffs above and came tumbling down toward them.

"Everyone, stay close!" Ash shouted.

He and Sabrina reacted instantly, combining their Psychic powers. A shimmering blue barrier formed above the group, shielding them and their Pokémon from the falling rocks. The boulders smashed harmlessly against the psychic shield, breaking into smaller pieces.

Sabrina maintained the barrier with focused concentration while Ash supported her.

"Good work," he said softly. "You okay?"

Sabrina nodded with a small smile. "Yes, Master. We’re safe."

Once the rockslide ended, the group continued along a dirt trail through the valley. Soon, they stumbled upon a Donphan rummaging among the shrubs. The young-looking Pokémon had notably short tusks.

Melody’s eyes lit up. "A Donphan! I’m going to catch it!"

She reached for a Poké Ball, but Erika gently stopped her. "Wait, Melody. Look at the size of its tusks. It must still be young. We shouldn’t catch it if it’s not ready to leave its home."

Melody paused and nodded. "You’re right. Sorry, little one. We’ll leave you be."

Melody’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she spotted a larger Donphan grazing peacefully among the shrubs. "There! A bigger one! This is my chance, Chikorita let’s go!"

She tossed her Poké Ball, releasing her Shiny Chikorita, who landed with a confident cry. The larger Donphan turned, its short tusks glinting as it prepared to defend itself.

"Chikorita, start with Razor Leaf!" Melody commanded.

Her Shiny Chikorita spun gracefully, launching a flurry of sharp, glowing leaves toward the Donphan. The attack connected solidly, cutting across the Donphan’s tough hide and making it grunt in annoyance.

The Donphan retaliated immediately by curling into a ball and using Rollout, charging forward with surprising speed and power.

"Watch out! Dodge it!" Melody called.

Chikorita leaped nimbly to the side, but the rolling Donphan clipped its leg, sending the Grass-type tumbling. Melody winced. "Hang in there! Use Vine Whip to trip it up!"

Chikorita extended glowing green vines from its neck and successfully wrapped them around the rolling Donphan, yanking hard and causing it to unroll and crash into the ground. The impact created a small dust cloud.

The battle was getting intense, and Melody’s heart raced with both excitement and nervousness.

"Great job! Now follow up with Tackle!" she encouraged.

Chikorita charged forward and slammed into the Donphan with a solid Tackle. The larger Pokémon shook off the hit and responded with Earthquake, stomping the ground hard.

The earth shook violently, forcing Chikorita to jump high into the air to avoid the worst of it.

Melody saw her opening. "Now! Use Growth to power up, then hit it with another Razor Leaf!"

Chikorita glowed with a green aura as it boosted its strength, then unleashed a more powerful barrage of leaves. The boosted attack struck the Donphan hard, visibly weakening it. The Donphan roared and charged again with Rollout, this time faster and more aggressive.

Melody’s Chikorita took a heavy hit this time, sliding back several feet. "Chikorita!" Melody cried out in worry.

From the sidelines, her family cheered her on.

"You’ve got this, Melody!" Misty shouted.

"Stay calm and trust your partner!" Sabrina encouraged.

"Master believes in you!" Giselle called out.

Erika and Daisy added their support with warm words of encouragement.

Melody took a deep breath, steadied herself, and smiled at her Shiny Chikorita. "We can do this together. One more time use Vine Whip to pull it in, then finish with Tackle!"

Chikorita nodded determinedly. It extended its vines, wrapped them around the charging Donphan, and pulled it off balance before slamming into it with a powerful boosted Tackle. The combination attack finally knocked the Donphan out.

Melody let out a joyful cry and ran to hug her Shiny Chikorita. "We did it! You were amazing!"

Melody was about to toss and pokeball to catch the defeated donphan but an strong agitated voice halted her "Stop right there!"

The girl quickly checked on the Donphan’s condition, then turned angrily toward Ash and his group. "How dare you try to steal my Pokémon! I’m turning you in to Officer Jenny!"

Melody immediately stepped forward, raising her hands. "Wait! I’m sorry! I thought it was a wild Pokémon. I didn’t know it belonged to anyone."

The girl calmed down slightly and introduced herself. "My name is Rochelle. All these Donphan are mine. I raise and train them."

Melody apologized again sincerely. "I’m really sorry for the misunderstanding. I won’t try to catch any of them."

Rochelle nodded, accepting the apology. She then demonstrated how her Donphan could find hidden amberite ore by sniffing the ground and digging with their trunks. Ash watched with interest. "That’s impressive. Could we search for some amberite too? We’d be happy to share what we find."

Rochelle thought for a moment and agreed. "Fine. If you find any good ore, I can help value it for you."

Ash and his wives spread out to search the area. Sabrina and Ash combined their powerful Psychic abilities to scan the mountain at the far end of the valley.

After a few minutes of concentration, they located a massive, high-quality amberite ore deposit.

Using their powers, they carefully extracted the large piece and brought it back to Rochelle.

The girl’s eyes widened in shock when she saw the size of the ore. "This... this is the biggest piece I’ve ever seen in my life!"

After careful valuation, Rochelle looked stunned. "This ore is worth close to the value of the Goldenrod Tower! It’s incredibly rare and pure."

Ash’s wives were equally shocked. Misty whistled. "That’s insane..."

Ash smiled and handed the valuable ore to Rochelle. "I want you to contact skilled artisans to create various jewels and accessories from this ore. You can take a 10% commission for your work and coordination."

Rochelle’s head spun at the amount of money she stood to make. "Are you serious? That’s... that’s incredibly generous!"

Ash gave her his contact details. "Once the jewels and accessories are ready, you can reach out to me."

Rochelle assured him she would handle it professionally. With that, Ash and his wives continued their journey toward Violet City, their pockets lighter in ore but their hearts full of excitement for the upcoming Gym challenge.
